Haven't seen a thread for February cycles so if anyone is waiting to start in the next few weeks and fancies some cycle buddies ❤️

Little about me, 34yo TCC #1. Low AFC/AMH. After two disastrous NHS cycles (NE Scotland) which resulted in no transfer, we went private and are away to start our second mild IVF cycle at Create in Manchester x

@LF82 thanks! Injections were delayed due to a stop/start period. Going to start at 9pm as that’s realistically the only time I know I’ll not be working and be at home. Eek. I was feeling calm and now feeling a little apprehensive.

@LF82 funny how different clinics have different things. I wasn't told not to wear an a bra with out underwire. The no perfume and make yes. I was also told to bring pantie liners.

@LF82 @TW6 thank you. Hubby is here for the first injections and then going onto a night shift. He hates needles, even seeing them, so am feeling very loved. You are right, it’s just the first ones and will be fine after that. Eeeeeekk!

@TW6 all done 😁 Messed up the first needle by blunting it in the vial, second one worked but didn’t get the angle right. Hurt a bit but know better for tomorrow! Gosh this is a rollercoaster. The first cycle was July 21 and I think I’d blocked the whole process out including the meds. Back to it now. Xxx

@Purplemichelle well done 1st one down! my 1st injection I was all fingers and thumbs dropped the needle lucky I had spares 😅 just waiting on 9.30 to come round take my trigger

@Purplemichelle well done on getting it done! You are much better than me- I have had to get my husband to do them for me so far as I just can’t do it myself! Not good with needles x

@Purplemichelle Well done with the first injection! You’re braver than me, I had to ice cube my belly, then OH did the injection whilst I looked away!!

@TW6 i think that’s why we get spares. It’s such a milestone for the first injection but not everyone is trained for this!! ooh the trigger, so very exciting. Very momentous time in the cycle.

@LF82 the colour drained from my husband’s face with him just watching me. He was so good and so calm with me, was nice to share the moment with him.

@Lauralozzle does the ice cube really help?

Hi I’m good thanks, too many messages here so just having a catch up now - day 7 of ovaleap stims today and going for a scan in the morning. All feeling normal but like someone else said a few twinges in the last day or so, definitely doing something! What stage are you at now? Thanks for checking in xx

I have transfer today, after doing egg collection in early December this has been such a long wait - had so much work stress but hoping my little 3AA embryo makes it
