Haven't seen a thread for February cycles so if anyone is waiting to start in the next few weeks and fancies some cycle buddies ❤️

Little about me, 34yo TCC #1. Low AFC/AMH. After two disastrous NHS cycles (NE Scotland) which resulted in no transfer, we went private and are away to start our second mild IVF cycle at Create in Manchester x

Had an update this morning all 6 have developed as they should off done transfer will be Monday :) xx

Transfer done. It was a bit uncomfortable mind, but not too bad.

Morning everyone! Finally got my period this morning, have never been so happy for a bleed. Stims start tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone with upcoming scans, collections and transfers. So grateful for this group. It’s nice to share with people who know exactly how you feel. Xx

@Jayjay08 Thanks. Yeah, I’m feeling good. I really thought there was a strong possibility there would be nothing to transfer. I know the quality isn’t great, but it’s better than the one behind which has ‘a long way to go’. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a blast trying naturally!

Official Test day is 17th Feb

i had my second scan today, they seemed happy, back in on Monday for my next scan!

Just been to the gym to take my mind off the injections. I’m sure it’ll be fine. You inject between the belly button and the pubic bone right?

@Purplemichelle yep 👍 my clinic gave me a link to a video to watch which was helpful

@THISISIT23 have 2 still , day 3 10 cell embryos one higher quality one lower still booked in for transfer monday but i wont get update tomorrow as clinic closed so ill only know if its good or bad monday morning and if transfer goes ahead that day

Hi Everyone,

Been trying to catch up on everyone's posts.

I'm due to start In about a weeks time. Just waiting for period to arrive.

Going to be doing the short antagonist protocol with overleap.
I have low AMH.

This will be my second cycle but this is with a new partner. And last time used menopur.

Can't believe I'm back in the same situation with a different partner 🙄

Anyone changed from menopur to overleap and had good results?

I only had 2 mature eggs with 1 fertilising last time.

@TTCRose morning. I have been through the exact same as you cycle and meds wise. I’m starting stims this evening and am on the short protocol. I’m on Menopur and ovaleap. This is my last go due to very low AMH now. Feel better prepared mentally this time but it’s all down the science in the end I guess. Good luck. X

I'm just going to be in overleap 375 I believe then another one beginning with C I can't remember.

If you don't mind me asking what was your AMH. Mine was approximately 4 or 5 that was back in 2020. Not been rechecked.

@TTCRose interesting how every med cycle is different. I guess the clinics know what they are doing.

Good luck with your cycle too! My AMH was measured at 1 pmol/L back in September so am now in the very low category. It was 2.2 on my last cycle in 2021. I have lost 3 stone in the last year to try and improve my chances but it really is my last shot. My consultant even said if I hadn’t already paid for 2 cycles, he wouldn’t be recommending treatment. That was a low blow but I have to give it a go. Feeling calm today, might not be once the stims start.

Did you suffer with the stims last time? I was so bloated and looked pregnant. Not sure how to cover it up at work whilst stimming. Xx

Yes I suppose we have to put our faith in them!

I can't recall any symptoms last time at all. Hoping it'll be the same this time 🤞🏻

Morning all, hope everyone is well. Could those of you who have had egg collection in the past help me with a question please?

my egg collection is in for Wednesday at 9am. Would I be best having a whole day off work or do you think I could work (from home- basically on a computer) in the afternoon so only have the morning off work

any advice would be much appreciated!

I didn’t see the embryologist until I was in the theatre! Gown and all!
