Is anyone else having a FET this month? I think I will have my egg transfer next week. It's my first one.

@Aim2912 isnt time dragging. Honestly it feels like someone has put the pause button on. I keep googling like you do and it does say back Ache is normal. I’m just overly worried. I won’t be happy until I see a heart beat and even then I will just worry the next day until the next scan.

I didn’t think you could either. But last time I walked in they said to me they couldn’t scan me as they were fully booked with appointments but they would book me in. So I rang them yesterday to see if I could book in as it wasn’t an emergency it was just something I should have done due to past history and they said my gp wouldn’t need to call/email. When I spoke to him this morning he said he had never heard this he would normally just give the person a form and send them down there. Which doesn’t make any sense as I could also just go down there. He also told me it may take months for an appointment. Anyhow, I haven’t heard back from him and I am going to call the unit tomorrow to see if they received his email.

Finally got an appointment booked at the EPAU. Next Friday. Half way in between that and my clinic appointment/scan.

my sensitivity to smells has increased and I have gagged a few times. This feels positive to me lol.

@Emsie1987 yay! I am also going to my local EPU on Friday but hoping they will see me as drop in (as they usually do).

Feeling so nauseous I am trying to figure out what stops me from gagging on the keyboard at work. Apparently white toast with butter and marmite is the winner 🤷🏻‍♀️

I should be 5+4 today. Bravely downloaded a pregnancy app to keep count. Hopefully I get to keep tracking this time.

@Crazyladywithacat how are you coping with wait?

@morganablue work is busy which is a good distraction and I have a 3 day business trip next week so hopefully that flies by too. But it’s such a drag, worse than the first 2ww, at least you could test it everyday then.

@Crazyladywithacat yeah, 100%.
Work has been busy lately for me too which made it a bit better, but weekend will go slowly. The unknown is really unbearable

@morganablue do you feel any symptoms? I don’t think I feel anything. My first successful pregnancy I was hungry all the time from the beginning, also feeling nauseous very early on. Nothing this time. I should be happy about it if it’s a success but now I just can’t help worry a little

Hi ladies how are you all?

I had my fourth beta and hopefully last and it’s 3,928 at 17dp5dt. I did the attached tests at the same time (for experimental purposes more than anything). I think I have a dodgy batch of frers. There is barely a control line and there really should be for that level. That’s me and the testing done, praying for a good scan on Wednesday.

@Hopefull1981 that's a great beta! As for the test, I think beyond a certain level, when is very high, the hch "eats" the control line, or that is what I have heard.

@Crazyladywithacat hard to say symptoms wise as I am on so many meds that I often wonder if it's pregnancy or Estradiol/progesterone.
I do have a bit of nausea, all day long, like I was slightly hangover all the time, but again this could also be created by estrogens. I have painful boobs sometimes but no change in size or colour.
I know some women have absolutely zero symptoms until they are in week 10-12

@morganablue I am gonna good, trying to keep busy with work. I am also trying to resist to urge to pee on a stick, even the cheap ones. I have my first scan on Wednesday and the anxiety is real.

when is your scan?

@Hopefull1981 100%, the anxiety is real! My clinic does not do complementary scan, so I am hoping EPU will see me instead on Friday, as I had a miscarriage/CP previously (at week 5).
Friday I would be 6 w +5 d, so hopefully they will be able to see something.

@morganablue my biggest fear is the ambiguity. I know 6 weeks is early but at least if it’s the right size etc then that’s not so bad. My clinic always say heart beat is not a requirement at the 6 week mark it’s more savage fetal pole etc.

Do have any symptoms? On my successful pregnancy I only has sore boobs and then woeful heart burn from week 20 onwards.

@Hopefull1981 that is my biggest fear too.
I am hoping for a sac, yolk and fetal pole. Heartbeat would be a great plus, as I never even got there (last time it was pregnancy of unknown location and then miscarriage).
Also I transferred two embryos so curios if one or two attached (if any 🤞🏼).
Just generally hoping not to be in any limbo, as it is the worst.

I have been having nausea (but no vomit) since week 5, thirstiness and sore boobs. I am on loads of meds though (1600 progesterone pessaries, progesterone in oil injection, steroid, estrogens and blood thinners l) so I can have side effects from them too.

@morganablue also going crazy waiting for it. Hopefully my trip this week and rolling into thanksgiving week will make the wait a little easier

I think I have the hook effect. I did a test when I got home this evening 6 hour hold. My final one before my scan. It’s very light compared to one’s I had in the past. I panicked a bit, then decided to do an experiment 😂 Test no 2 the urine was mixed 50:50 with water and test no 3 had 1/4 urine and 3/4 water. It’s by far the darkest result. Interesting.

How are you all? Scan went really well. I am measuring 6w2d. Yolk sac they expect to be less than 0.6mm and it's 0.4mm. I also got to see the teeny heartbeat, which was such a relief. The clinic will scan me at week 7 & week 8 just to ensure continuity. I bit the bullet and reachedout to my consultant.

I read online that once a pregnancy gets past 6/7 weeks and has a heartbeat, the risk of having a miscarriage drops to around 10%. Still high at 10%. I can't be that unlucky, surely.

I do however have a haemotoma sitting under the sac, so I may start spotting (not ideal). It's not in a dangerous area, so if I do bleed, I need to contact them.

@Hopefull1981 wooohoo that’s brilliant news! I’m so glad the scan went well. Fingers crossed the SCH behaves itself.

I had my fourth beta on Monday, the clinic were happy with my results so I’ve been booked in for my seven week scan at the end of the month. It feels like such a long time to wait.

@Hopefull1981 that's great! So glad you got to see the heartbeat, must be amazing, hope the next few weeks go smoothly for you.

Unfortunately I'm have a MC, so wont be able join you lovely ladies through this pregnancy journey.

@Aim2912 so sorry for your loss
