Hi,

Is anyone else having a FET this month? I think I will have my egg transfer next week. It's my first one.

@Emsie1987 they will only scan me at 6 weeks, I have also requested the EPU do a scan on the same day as if there is anything wrong as such I am not hanging around in ambiguity.

last time was awful. I had a scan at 6 and 7 weeks in the clinic which they said to
go to the EPU who then made me wait another week, pregnancy if unknown viability. They said I couldn’t have a d&c as the sac was low, so tablets were the only option and that was awful. I ended up in a&e haemorrhaging. I had to go back 2 weeks later and despite me saying my tests were getting positive they said it was normal. 2 weeks later my uterus is full of blood clots and the sac hasn’t passed. They then said I could have a d&c that afternoon.

so if something was to go wrong at least I can have a d&c around the 7 week mark not 10 weeks like the last time.

@Hopefull1981 I am so sorry this happened to you, it sounds so horrific and I can only imagine the trauma left by this experience.

I am also thinking about going to EPU at 67 weeks (if I get there). Last time at 5.5 weeks my beta was extremely low and they could not see anything so diagnosed a pregnancy of unknown location and I eventually miscarried few day later.

@morganablue it definitely was my worst miscarriage experience of them all. Sorry for your loss too. It’s just a horrible experience.

how is everyone else doing? I had a second beta today as there was zero point just having one on it’s own. I hope it’s good news.

@Emsie1987 thanks 🙏🏼 I thought I was going to be more confident after high numbers, but I am still very much in my head and honestly just so anxious this time around. Hope better afte Tomo, but testing relief last one hour and not even high beta makes it better apparently. I guess next step is scan, but I don't even know how I can cope waiting two/three weeks like this to be fair 😅

@Aim2912 🙏🏽 thanks! I honestly don't know what I am going to do with myself waiting for the scan 😅
I use cyclogest pessaries (4 per day, so 1600gr) which is guess are similar, and they give me any kind of discomfort including period pair, burning, general dryness or discharge, and cramps.

I am on my way to third and last beta and after this, if this goes well, I'll have to wait until scan at week 6/7 and decide whether is private or EPU. Will be anxiously awaiting whilst working all day.

I have done my last set of home test as lines are stronger than control lines now, so this safety blanket will be gone too. (Ps Clear blue week count is useless as usual. )

@morganablue those are great lines. How many days past transfer are you? I agree with you re the clear blue. I got my 2-3 weeks about 4pm Wednesday (9dp5dt) so not FMU, so I am guessing my beta should come in above 150? Would it be another week to reach 3+? Its going to be a long wait today for sure. The nurse is off and the receptionist is as rude and unhelpful. I’ll email at 13.00.

I had to give myself my first ever PIO shot yesterday. That’s wasn’t fun. My husband normally does it. My whole lower back is so sensitive even when clothes touch it.

@Hopefull1981 I am 14DP today. My clinic compares beta at 10dp, 12dp and 14DP and if you are above the 1000 mark, they stop.

My first beta came back at 306 and clearablue was giving me still 1 week, that's why I really don't believe it anymore. Even with second beta at 792 it was 1-2 weeks.
I am now at the point in which checking lines is just waisting my money as they cannot get darker, but it is so difficult to give up safety blanket! :)

Did you get your second beta results already?

Hmm my beta exactly doubled which is good news. Just wondering if it’s on the low side for 10dp. It’s 178z The tests were done within 46 hours so I guess that’s a win.

Clinic have agreed to do the next two betas. It’s so unusual as they never offered them to me before.

@Hopefull1981 i don’t think it’s low? Similar to my first beta for this cycle and the first beta for my son from my first IVF pregnancy

how are you getting on?

@Hopefull1981 my first beta is ~190 10DP, second beta ~500 12DP. Scheduled ultrasound on 22nd - LOOOOOOOOONG WAIT

@Crazyladywithacat my next beta is Monday and then Wednesday. All going well scan will be on the 16th. They always do them at 6 weeks. My work is going to be crazy for the next two weeks and I am like bring it on, anything to keep the brain occupied.

@Hopefull1981 that is a great number! I am the same, trying to keep busy at work and nearly happy when we got notified fo an upcoming audit LOL ("Bring it on!")

@Crazyladywithacat booked for the 22/11 too. It feels ages away. I may still go visit my local early pregnancy unit a bit earlier

Third beta (14DP) doubled as it should have (more than doubled) to nearly 2000, so that's the last one.

Now we wait for the scan 🫠

@morganablue thats a great number. Glad you graduated from the betas. Now we wait! Obs here won’t see anyone before 8 weeks. So usually you get a 7 week scan then graduate to the usual OB. Maybe I should make an appointment just in case

@morganablue thats a great number. You should see your 3+ any day now. 12 dp for me and I think I am my test line is starting to get darker than the control. My last transfer this happened around 15-16 days after transfer. I am taking that as a positive too.

Hi all, sorry been MIA on here. I've been feeling unwell for the past couple of days and yesterday had a big bleed with clots. I was 100% sure it was over. Went to the clinic for a blood test, my hcg is still increasing quite well and it over 14k yesterday late afternoon. So now they think I might have a subchronic haematoma, they dont think it ectopic as I'm in no pain. They couldn't scan yesterday as it was too early, but asked me to go in Tuesday. That's the earliest they can scan. I've been ask to rest in the mean time.

@Aim2912 oh no I’m sorry to hear that! Sending positive thoughts. Hope everything is ok! Did the bleeding stop?

@Crazyladywithacat thank you! I'm still bleeding on and off but it's not as heavy now. More then spotting though, But less the full flow period.

@Aim2912 I am so sorry you had this bid scare! Glad Dr were not worried as your hcg looks great. The fact that you are not in pain is also a very good sign cause that is all I remember from my best friends having an ectopic, the excruciating pain she was in.
I hope next week you'll be able to see the little bean doing great. Rest well!

@Aim2912 I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this. I had a SCH at 10 weeks with my daughter (who is now 2) and it was so scary given I’d had a previous miscarriage. Hope you are feeling okay. Get lots of rest. It’s great news your HCG is looking good.

We will be 10dpt tomorrow, so I will test then. Feeling so nervous. I have very little symptoms and don’t feel in my gut it’s going to be positive.
