Egg Collection in October 2022

Hi all,

I was waiting for Buserelin to return, now that it has I have the green light to start treatment. I am due to have a scan on Friday to get the all clear to start Norethisterone.

My collection will be early October.

Round 2.0 for me… be good to chat through with others as a part of the journey!

@Lizzie989 11 fertilised for me, day 3 all 11 were still going strong. So now the wait until day 5 to see how things are progressing. I hope we end up with a few to freeze 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼. How are you feeling? Congrats on your collection, great numbers! I’m appreciating the quality over quantity now, and very much processed my collection. I hope you’re okay? I understand that feeling of being a little disappointed - nothing to be disappointed about though lovely. Keeping everything crossed for good growth rate for your little babes 🤞🏼

Just done with my 3 injections for the day. Got scan tomorrow to check on the follicles . Hopefully all are growing well.

I'm dreading tomorrows phone call, this was the day last time when 8 of our embryos stopped growing. Trying to stay positive but I'm driving myself insane already x

Had my scan today . All the 11 follicles are growing at a very slow pace so one more stim injection added from today😢 ( 4 injections a day now ) .
next scan on Thursday.

@APSR yes, just now, unfortunately 6 have not grown much past the first stage. 3 are at 6,9,10 cells, but are of average quality. I'm devastated again. Xx

Ohh don’t worry I’m sure the ones remaining will catch up and get to the blastocyst stage. I had the supposedly best quality 4AA in my previous cycle which failed to implant so even though the quality is important I think we should not stress much about the grade. Sending loads of good wishes to you 😊

Sorry tmi. Did any of you have brown discharge while on stim injections?
last cycle I was on long protocol so dint have any discharge as such but for this one have dark brown discharge ( tmi again ) since yesterday.

We have a blastocyst to transfer today 🎉🎉 so happy, these past two days have floored me but we have one good one! Xxx

@APSR I've been on both long and short and never had that. Maybe ring the clinic just to check xxx

@APSR I hope the discharge has settled? If not, I would definitely contact the clinic and see what advice they have.

Not a lot happening here with me, three made it to the freezer here. Now I just have to wait for the FET.

We don't have any for the freezer unfortunately. So praying this little one makes it xx oh no!! Why is that?? Is OHSS XX

No brown discharge but got mild bleeding (tmi) since yesterday evening. Checked with my consultant he told we need to scan to check the progress of the follicles. Got a scan apmt tomorrow. Hoping all my follicles are growing well, really worried 😟

@APSR oh no!! Please try not to worry, if it was something serious would they have had you in asap?? It's so easy for me to say I know!! But I am I'm the queen of worrying so I know what your going through xxxxx sending you loads of hugs and good luck wishes xxxx

Done with my scan . Got 8 follicles growing ( extremely disappointed) had 12 in my last scan and now down to just 8 😢had hormonal blood test done today as well . Next scan on tue.

Cycle aborted as I got only 6 follicles in scan today. Don’t know what to do next. This cycle was extremely difficult with 4 stim injections per day don’t know what else should I do now. Even after going through all this and being on highest dosage my ovaries are not producing good number of follicles. Feel like giving up now 😢

@APSR oh no! I am so sorry to hear that… why did they not continue on? 6 follicles is still… 6 follicles?? Sorry, I just don’t understand. I hope you’re okay ❤️

@LetstalkaboutBruno they didn’t continue with 6 because it took 18 days to get to this stage with almost 450units of the stimulation drug and also in my previous cycle I had 10follicles but ended up with only 3 eggs

@APSR I am sorry. I wish this process was easier, and simpler, for everyone! I hate how cruel this journey can be!

Unfortunately it didn't work for us. No baby grew, Devastated again xxx
