Anybody having FET July or August?

Just waiting for my next cycle to start after a freeze all cycle. It should've been here last week but seems to be delayed so I feel like it's just a ticking clock. This will be my first FET, first ever transfer actually.

Anybody else in the same boat and want to keep me company?

I've done a test and it's a strong positive. No idea what is going on. Waiting on the nurses to call me back. I'm trying not to be too optimistic as they said the hormone can stay in the system for a few weeks. What a complete head mess!!

@Gracie2021 I hadn't thought of that although my GP is generally useless! I might try the compression bands you can get online for your wrists.

I feel terrible also for not checking in with anyone else and just banging on about myself on here!! I'm finding it very hard to keep up 😮

@Roobles79 just bee reading through your posts, I really hope everything is okay. The strong positive sounds promising, especially if you've not had any bleeding since Thursday. It is the worst feeling not knowing what's going on, have you got anything to keep you occupied?

@ChristmasJumpers do what you have to do to get through these tough weeks. If that's keeping the head down and hibernating than do that. Mind yourself. I mentioned the doctor because my friend suffered terribly with nausea til she got a "magic pill" from her doctor.

@Roobles79 sorry you're still in limbo but the strong positive together with no more bleeding is hopefully a good sign. Apparently bleeding can be more common in IVF pregnancies too from what I've heard, SCHs etc. Really hope they can get you in for a scan or bloods to get some answers/reassurance.

This was my 2nd attempt at FET and been 3 years in the making
I had to use donor eggs as well so whilst my body is over 40 .. my egg is only I'm its 20's

@Roobles79 that’s really promising that you still have a positive test. Will you test again in a few days? Fingers crossed the cramping is just your body adjusting to growing that little embie! Thinking of you lots and sending all the good vibes!

@Katerina79 must have been wonderful to see / hear a heartbeat! Is it’s starting to sink in that it’s all real yet?

@Gracie2021 that’s so exciting you have such a strong line. Did you transfer a single or double embies? Monday will fly round I’m sure. Do you then go in for a second hcg on Wednesday?

@JessLaw96 how did you get on doing your test today?

Hi guys,
has anyone heard of a nationwide buserelin and cyclogest shortage? I’ve been given advice to pause my FET because of shortages.

The other option is to use progesterone gel instead of pessaries but the clinic has no information or statistics on gel and doesn’t know how it will affect the treatment?

I really don’t want to pause because I’ve already had to postpone fresh transfer because my ovaries were overstimulated but don’t want to waste an attempt if the other drugs aren’t as good.

@Agapanthus13 I got a darker positive one with morning so I let my clinic know and I have bloods Friday morning!
thats a picture of todays and 2 days ago! So getting darker which is reassuring to see!

Have heard buserilin shortages on other threads affecting peoples cycles too @SLL2018. Seems to be pretty widespread. So frustrating. Really sorry its affecting you. I'm using a mix of lubion progesterone injection and crinone gel. Fairly widely used in Ireland from what I can tell.

Just a single @Agapanthus13 I'd be happy with just one 😂 don't want to be greedy! Think my lines look fairly standard against other I see online so think I'm about where I should be hopefully. No idea about the second hcg, tbh will be Tuesday before I get the results from mondays even... hope you're feeling well and things are going smoothly?

@Gracie2021 thanks! Main ones are feeling hungry the moment i wake up and if i dont eat i feel sick! And just niggle of headaches every so often and bloated! But thats all at the minute! I had a little scare today and had a really small spot, it was brown… my midday pessarie felt a task to get in anyone had that? So i think I irritated it and caused a slight spot. All is fine now

Another bleed, this one fairly significant, accompanied by obvious period cramps. It doesn't look promising here again. Why is this all so hard? I feel like I'm beginning to get PTSD from all of this.

@Rtmhwales so sorry to hear that! Does it definitely feel like your period?

@JessLaw96 Unfortunately yes and I've been having bleeding and clots for 8 hours now which is depressing. They sent me for a blood draw because I sounded so upset so just waiting to see what that says but given my previous test was 4.5 days ago it won't be very helpful unless it's very obviously too low to be a progressing pregnancy though. The cramps are killer and definitely not a good sign.

@Rtmhwales hi hun sorry to hear that. Let us know what your hcg level is from blood. I've bled 3 times so far and on the scan it looks like I will have one of those pregnancies. Keep getting checked though its worth it for peace of mind. Sending hugs and we're all here for you.

@Gracie2021 Thank you for info about progesterone injection/gel. I didn’t even know there was an injection. I’ve been offered gel but the clinic don’t know the success rates or how it would affect treatment apparently. Got the feeling they just want me to postpone 🤨

@parkerh1 how are you doing, hope you don't mind me asking about the bleeding and what they said about it on the scan? As I had a bleed on Sunday which has now stopped. I'm still confused. Have been reading q a lot about bleeding in ivf pregnancies. My nurse said it could have been that there was some trauma to the uterus from the catheter at transfer and sometimes on the scan they see pockets of blood nowhere near the developing embryo and that can just happen along with things being more sensitive because of the hormones and things. Sorry to be graphic but I've had brown clots this morning which must be old blood and no new blood since Sunday but it's still a big worry and you just wonder what on earth is going on. Hope you are okay. Are you getting any morning sickness yet? X

@rtmhwales thinking of you. Hope the cramps subside a bit, I had heavy cramping Sunday and back ache with the bleeding it's horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if you feel like you might be on the verge of ptsd. Everything you have been through. It's very traumatic. Let us know how u go x

Glad the fresh bleeding has stopped for you @Roobles79. This is such a terrible rollercoaster. What are your next steps or are you waiting on scan now?

That sucks @SLL2018 I've had an FET cancelled previously because my clinic cocked up the scheduling so I completely get the frustration. Hope you're able to work a compromise with the meds though.

I have some pinkish crinone gel residue too @JessLaw96 so think it is just irritation for me. Tbh (sorry for the tmi) have to manually clear it out every couple of days and it's a massive struggle. Whole area just seems closed up and swollen if that makes sense? I'm just trying to irritate it as little as possible at this point.... anyone else have that with pessaries? Officially 4 weeks today. Beta Monday but tests still look ok. Still have cramping/twinges/slight lightheadedness and very thirsty but all of that could be the meds and no mad symptoms yet.

@Gracie2021 thats reassuring Im not the only one that has had a closed up feeling. My first transfer was awful for it but this time its only happened twice when trying to do a pessary. This time though i make sure I sit down and chill out 10/15 mins before a pessary and then I lay down and put my feet together and open my legs relaxed and do it then.. i have found it a lot easier. I then lay for 10 mins after and hVe also noticed less or none comes out afterwards! Just a little advice if it helps, not that everyone has the opportunity to do that mind with work etc! Im lucky and im a nanny so managed to time it for little ones sleep so i go in bathroom and chill!

Hi! Jumping on the bandwagon here, am 37 and with ABC for mild IVF short protocol. Am currently taking 150 bemfola and centride. Am on day 5 atm, follicles are taking their sweet time to grow! Here's hoping on day 7 more will mature. Is anyone else in the same boat as me and what do you think of the numbers on my follicle growth chart? There is a greedy follicle that has shot up just above the black line! Bit disheartened that they are taking a while to get to the right sizes for egg retrieval. Guess I need to be patient :) I've unexplained infertility and all my bloods and partners sperm is within normal range so is a mystery x

@Roobles79 hiya I've had three fresh blood bleeds absolutely terrifying and 2 of them had clots some fresh some older blood so definitely messed with my head first time wasn't alot of blood but more than spotting. Second I started bleeding like a period in work and I left straight away to go hospital and by then clots were coming away all they could do was check my blood was too early too scan at the time. I had to go back every two days for blood to be done to check on my hcg level if it was rising or decreasing. That was all that they could tell me as i was only 6 weeks and then i bled again 3rd time 3 days before my 7 week scan again they checked my blood level and told me to wait till scan. No explanation really on me scan they told me looks great but I might have one of those pregnancy where I bleed alot through it but keep getting it checked out. They've told me I am a higher risk than originally thought. Fingers crossed all will be ok.

Glad yours has stopped and that it might of been just egg attaching too wall.

@Emilym33 hello! Im also with abc! However i have had my transfer already so a little infront of you.
I am 26 and in a same sex relationship and my partner had egg retrieval and I am carrying.
so far day 13pt and positive.

Awww gosh that sounds so incredibly stressful and worrying. Amazing that your little embryo is doing okay in there, just goes to show that bleeding does seem to be quite common with ivf. Thank you for sharing that with me, it is reassuring to know its not just me. As I'd we haven't had enough to deal with and all that turmoil on top! It is enough to send someone over the edge.

When is your next scan/blood test? Did you get back pain with the bleeding and cramps too? I am getting old blood brown streaks at times now and intermittent cramps but not as bad as it was before. Its strange they don't know the reason for it though isn't it, when they say your are high risk what does that mean exactly, will you be monitored more frequently? X
