Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

So me…..
I had my basal scan and it confirmed I’d ovulated and my left ovary had follicles with blood still in them from the EC (apparently perfectly normal)
AF took ages to arrive (3 days later than expected) but arrived Monday and I started stims on Tuesday. Day 4 today.
had what should have been a day 5 scan early today as can’t get scanned tomorrow (but had it early last time too and had to start the suppressants straight away on day 4 as I had one follicle at 15mm already)
so today I’ve got nothing on my left ovary as there are still recovering follicles there 😵‍💫 (had 3 measurable and 1 smaller one last time)
and on my right ovary I’ve got 4 at 10, 7, <6, <6

so now im obviously freaking out!! Clinic is happy to go ahead and seem cool about it but I can’t help comparing!
will my left ovary kick in???
does it matter much if it doesn’t?!
why are they do much smaller than last time?!

no idea what bloods mean if im honest 🤣🫣

@Kelb79 it's good that they are smaller at this stage it gives them chance to mature and that you'll not over stimulate before EC. Hopefully left will kick in bit as long as you get some good quality ones it will be ok.

No idea on the bloods either sorry.

Hey Everyone, just jumping on this thread as im new here. I had my Egg transfer on Monday 25th, day 3 embryo so now in the 2WW.
This is my second full round & final attempt so fingers crossed for a sticker

Hey, its next Friday. I'm OK but my stomach has been really sore this round, like since egg collection so im hoping its nothing bad as last time I didnt feel anything apart from bloated

I was really sore after EC I had more follicles.M and more eggs this time. I drank lots of water and lucozade and upped my protein- stopped lifting and bending and it did get better. I get strange cramps now but I'm 11dp5dt today x

I hope you all don’t mind me joining the thread and congratulations to all who have been successful and a massive good luck to all in the two week wait.

i started my medication on Tuesday so I’m just in the early stages of stimulation and due to be scanned on Monday morning to check progress etc.

I’ve got to say I’m sooooo nervous and excited at the same time and thought and do my journey with some who are around the same part as myself

My first cycle was in March- I'm a huge baby who hates injections and honestly I got through it- Everyone on her is lovely- happy to share their experiences and answer any questions.

yes this is my first cycle, it was quiet an emotional journey to get to this point as I had functional cysts which delayed treatment. I’m currently on tamoxifen which causes hot flushes 🤣🤣. I think the injections I’ll be on, I’m expecting to be a hormonal drama queen when I start injections 🤣

which method did you do?

@PositiveAnnie so my first cycle was short protocol- Meriofert lowest dose and certrotide. I got 8 eggs 5 fertilised but none made blasts I had a morula and a cavitating morula transferred BFN

This cycle I did long protocol- down regged on Burserelin- then stimmed on Burserelin and a high does of Meriofert. I got 20 eggs - 18 fertilised- there was 10 on day 3 ans on day 5 we had 3 blasts 1 A/B which is on board and 2 B/B which are Frozen.

I had my first ever BFP 2 days ago- I tested again yesterday still a clear line. I've avoided testing today and will test tomorrow and Monday which is OTD. I'm excited but still don't believe it.

Lots of ladies on here who had first cycles when I had mine got BFP 1st time and I still keep in touch via here and they are now 20 weeks so it can happen the first time.

The journey is tough and emotional but I'd do it a thousand times if I had too- this cycle was more painful dude to having more eggs collected but as I mentioned I'm a huge baby and there wasn't any pain paracetamol didn't help with.

Make sure your drinking at least 3 litres of water a day- eating 60 grams of protein and add in some isotonic drinks like lucozade sport or coconut water so keep OHSS away.

@PMAmostofthetime I was reading literally the whole 13 pages of post’s reading you’re story along with the others on the forum and I felt a bit more reassurance from the journey’s you have all had and the success’s etc

I have burseralin injections also which I think Monday they will advise when to start after my scan.

that’s a good number of eggs and results you had with regards to you’re egg collection. I understand why you would be in disbelief for you’re BFP and sometimes even when you are scanned you still don’t believe it 🤣🤣

@PMAmostofthetime i don’t normally drink lucozade but thank you for the tips I will do that too. Is the protein, lucozade and water something you did until you got BFP

@Kelb79 just to reassure you that I had the same with the follicles! And it’s good they are growing slowly!

update on … me felt v nauseated with bit of cramping today partly due to the heat I think! And need to pee all the time. Am struggling to enjoy the positive result due to previous miscarriage.

clinic prescribed me 3 weeks more worth of lutigest, lubion injections and prognova until the scan date. Fingers crossed for us all!!

trying not to panic and stay zen !!

@PositiveAnnie it really is I was the same last time it seems very different though I feel 2nd time around still exciting but just a few more hurdles for us with genetic testing this time and frozen but I'm sure all the same feelings will come flooding back when we get to 2ww

@PositiveAnnie I've still doing it- I started when I was on stims as I had fluid around my ovaries which is a sign of OHSS.

@mooneagle I'm having brown discharge ( sorry for TMI) scared it's all over before it began :(.

@PMAmostofthetime i understand why u would be worried. You can bleed off implantation and brown blood is normally a sign of old blood which may be from implantation

@mooneagle I think it's too late for that I'm 11dp5dt and had a BFP 2 days ago. I'm not going to test now as I've drank too much water but I'll test in the morning :(

I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread! Any advice/guidance is greatly appreciated

I'm 30 and have a daughter (7) conceived naturally

I have been diagnosed with PCOS and have a high follicle count

The fertility clinic (CRGW) have recommended IUI or IVF Lite but I am unsure what to go with. The success rates with IUI worry me and although IVF has a greater expense, is it worth going for this first as last to save "wasting" money?

Any experiences/advice on the success rates for first time IVF with PCOS please?

Tested negative so I'm out. Devastated tbh, we have one more frostie but I'm feeling pretty grim today.
