Hi,

I'm just starting this thread as i've kept joining previous ones in hope that I would be at the same time but got left behind with the ups and downs of ivf.
After 3 cycles, 2 failed fresh transfers, PGT-A testing to give us 3 euploid embryos and just now getting our results from the ALICE/EMMA/ERA tests, I am now finally in a position to hopefully start FET on my next cycle with a transfer likely to be end of May or early June!! 😍. Would love to have people to chat to who are following a similar timeline.

@Herewegoagain881 i feel like I’m going to start my period, that low pulling feeling and I just had tiny spotting when I went to the loo, not sure what’s happening now but I will just ride it out!
to be honest if my husband had let me test early I probably would have been mental by now and spent £60 on good tests! I’ve spent a small fortune on Amazon cheap tests over the past few years. I think us neurotic testers keep amazon going!

Im 5dp5dt and i’ve been feeling fine, my boobs are massive and so sore and feel like rocks, i’ve a pain going across my upper back and i swear it’s from the weight of them 😂 But I know this is likely to be from the Crinone gel.

I was wondering if anyone has had an upset tummy during their TWW? A really weird thing happened to me yesterday, about an hour after eating dinner i got the most incredible cramps in my stomach the type you get when your about to have a major upset tummy, they were so painful but although I ran to the toilet and thought I was going to have diarrhea I didn’t go at all (sorry TMI) anyway this lasted for about 2 hours painful cramps coming and going and then eventually stopped. This morning i got up had my breakfast, ate lunch have felt fine all day, had dinner this evening and the exact same thing is happening to me all over again. I have no clue what’s going on, probably not even connected to my TWW 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Twittwoo2020 wishing you luck in your 2ww! I've had this happen a few times but it's always been related to taking medication (antibiotics and medical management for a mmc). I actually had this happen yesterday about 30 mins after eating, but it was due to antibiotics I took after the Emma/ALICE test.

Are you on a fresh cycle? (Just wondering if it might be a symptom of ohss)

@Herewegoagain881 thanks for your response, I didn’t get a notification about it so didn’t see until today! I figured it would be the medication, it only lasted for 2 days. But this evening I just got an urge to test at 8.30pm and couldn’t believe my eyes!

Ive been on such a rollercoaster since Jan 2020 and I am just in shock. Fingers crossed this little one sticks around 🤞🏼🤞🏼

21 eggs! So at risk of OHSS.
Got to up water intake and protein and see how I go before they decide if Fresh or frozen transfer.

@PMAmostofthetime hope your EC went well and you feel ok?

@Dobcaty our fresh transfer was a negative so, I’m on the meds tomorrow to start our first FET and all being well that should happen around the 1st August.
So it’s crossed fingers 🤞🏻 If that doesn’t work I guess maybe we need to talk to the consultant about a rethink and maybe some tests to check everything is ok with me.
otherwise I’m ok on last day of holiday and did have a naughty glass of wine after the negative test. First in 6 months so I was pretty tipsy after a sip.

@Dobcaty had a call this morning there was 20 not 21 the other was a mass off cells but not yet an egg and out of 20- 18 Fertilised!!!
I'm so excited-- hopefully they will get to day 5 blasts this time- still cautiously optimistic though after none made blasts last time x

@PMAmostofthetime so glad you are feeling better and congratulations on 18 fertilised eggs!

@Dobcaty we have been told we can go straight into our FET.
If I needed another FET, I think they would make me have a natural period next time. Once all our Frozen embryos have been used I then have another round paid for, luckily I get free FET but have to pay for all meds on our plan. I just want to keep ploughing through and the Dr knows this. So as long as I’m healthy and it’s going ok we just keep going.
I've had pretty bad bleeding but I guess that’s because of the progesterone.
i hope the next one works. 🤞🏻Bring on the FET!

Update this morning ET Monday as long as my stomach pain subsides. 10 excellent embryos- 3 front runners 5 just behind and 2 good ones- they are leaving the other 8 in to see if they catch up.

Sorry i have been m.i.a i kind of felt awkward once we got the good news in response to hcg levels rising and a heartbeat at 6wks 1day. However family suprised me last night with a private scan because it was my dad's birthday and he has passed away, so to lighten my mood i would say.

Unfortunately this did not go well and at 9wks 4days there was no heartbeat and baby had stopped growing around 6wks 5days I'm in shock, no one expects that news. I have to wait until Monday for a scan at the hospital and been told i need to continue medication until then by mty Fertility clinic.

@Dream5678 I'm so sorry for your loss... I've also had a MMC diagnosed during a scan and completely empathise, it's such a shock and a horrible thing to have to go through... sending lots of hugs xxx

We are on meds for the next FET, had to have a full cycle inbetween, they wouldn't let us jump straight on. I have my scan a week on Monday and if all okay it looks like when they put the next embryo in, our OTD will be my 40th birthday! Not too sure how I feel about that!
But our expectations are low as the euploid that will be going in isn't as good as the one that failed.

@Coops0406 that's amazing news hope all goes well for you. If I get blasts tomorrow my OTD will be 1st August when will yours be?

@PMAmostofthetime thank you! If all okay with scan on 25th then they usually do transfer on a Thursday so will likely be 4th August, with OTD 15th August! So exactly 2 weeks later!

When do you get the call about blasts? Is it Monday? And I presume that means transfer on that day too? Exciting!!! 😃

@Coops0406 I've taken some time out recently too! Been waiting for our follow up which is next week and just started doing some research last week into private clinics. Wow it's a lot to take in and think about.

@Coops0406 thank you for asking. Not too much happening in here (other than melting in the heat🫠), ovulated yesterday we did some DTD in the last few days (not hoping too much from it) but interesting to see if any spotting will come up this cycle. First block of blood results were back last Thursday (everything in normal range) so I might call them next Friday to see if the rest arrived or not. Really really want to start the FET asap...
