Hi,

I'm just starting this thread as i've kept joining previous ones in hope that I would be at the same time but got left behind with the ups and downs of ivf.
After 3 cycles, 2 failed fresh transfers, PGT-A testing to give us 3 euploid embryos and just now getting our results from the ALICE/EMMA/ERA tests, I am now finally in a position to hopefully start FET on my next cycle with a transfer likely to be end of May or early June!! 😍. Would love to have people to chat to who are following a similar timeline.

@BlueSilver23 fab news you started stims yesterday! I am sure you got plenty in, I know what you mean it is stressful! I didn't do any of my own jabs last time and I'm going to have to one day this cycle as my OH is away. My friend is going to come out and supervise as I know I'll panic I've not done it right! Yup last day today! It's def been easier this time round on it and I've not have many side effects. Baseline scan Monday stims hopefully Tuesday it AF appears that day. When is your first monitoring scan? Xx

@HJen22 last say on norethisterone for you today yey! I finished mine on Sunday and AF has arrived today starting my stims on sat.. how you feeling on norethisterone? My clinic we just need to do a lft a day or 2 before we go in for scans and egg collection X

@VO27 sending you lots of hugs have you spoken to your clinic? This must be a really hard time for you please be easy on yourself and we are all here for you xx

@BlueSilver23 honestly I always check mine about 3 times 😂 & I'm paranoid like did it all go in! I'm finding them fine. First monitoring scan tomorrow 🤞.

@HJen22 woo hoo no more Norethisterone! My OH is scared of needles so I've done all of mine by myself. It's horrible tho as you will be so nervous for the first one but you will be absolutely fine! What a lovely supportive friend!

@Babydust2u yes so far so good. Scan tomorrow so hopefully see some follicles!

@Babydust2u that's great AF has arrived and you start Saturday! Remind me, is this your first cycle? Sorry I know you will have said! I've actually felt ok, I've been waking up early but I'm ok with that, but I think my mood has been the same. I've been doing the mindful Ivf app every few days which helps, and journaling. How did you find it? I don't have to do anything before scans, never even had a temp taken, it's so strange how everywhere is different!

@Reefy wow well done you doing them all yourself! I had a wee practice run with an empty syringe the other day thinking I'd not like the idea of stabbing myself haha but it was fine. I'm more nervous of the mixing and making sure I get it all in! Be different when there is something in the syringe. I'm going to be more involved and pay more attention from the start this time so I'm fine for doing it and I'll do a few myself before the day.

@HJen22 that app had me needing to go to sleep at 9pm last night 😂. Everyone is different if they feel comfortable doing it. I think I'm only ok as until we lost our dog I used to have Inject him with insulin twice a day so I was sort of used to It. Are you on different meds to last time?

@HJen22 yes it's my first cycle ooo I'll have to download the app how u finding it? Isit any good? Do they give tips? I'm getting abit of bad cramps and feel so ewww lol but I'm excited at the same time my AF has come which means I can start stims in 2 days. It's mad how every clinic is different it might be cos my egg collection is in hospital that's why I'm having to do lft for both my scans and egg collection x

@Reefy his voice is so soothing isn't it. I really like how he says you can be hopeful, it not work and be devastated. Or you can not be hopeful, it not work and still be devastated. So true and a more positive way to look at it, we need to have hope. I think once I've done one I'll be ok 🤞🏻 oh I'm so sorry you lost your wee dog, how heartbreaking. Our dog and cat keep me going some days ❤️

Same meds and it's worked out pretty much same dates for scans and scheduled EC as in March! I was on max dose last time but with our trigger issue we only got one egg. But at my last monitoring scan before EC I had three good sized follicles the size they like to see before you trigger and maybe more if the others caught up. So I'm hopeful without a trigger cock up we will get more this round 🙏🏻

@Babydust2u yeah it's really good! Search mindful ivf on the App Store. There are different meditations for each stage. And then there are other packages you can pay for for TWW and things.

My clinic is part of the local hospital too, the same door and building as the maternity ward! I had to do a PCR myself and then hand the swab to the nurse a few days before EC and didn't hear about it again. Until ages after I noticed it on the app with my vaccines.

Not good you're getting cramps! Hopefully they ease up soon! But yeah, the one time we want it to come so we can get started!! X

@Dobcaty @HJen22 @Reefy @BlueSilver23 @Babydust2u thank you! ❤️ they rang this morning to let me know that they were defrosting a 5 day expanded blastocyst - they are all graded the same but one was a day 6 fully hatched one so they didn't want to use that one first. Then they rang an hour ago to say the one they defrosted is actually fully hatched so I'm now a bit worried as I've read about hatching and fully expanded giving the best results! I half wish they hadn't told me! I think it was expanded when it went for PGT-A testing and after that it must have fully hatched!

@Dobcaty Have you heard about the others yet? How are you feeling? Do you feel bruised where you do the lubion? I find the injection totally fine but the area feels like I've walked into the corner of a table!

@Coops0406 tonight will be day 4. Thank you I hope there are some good follicles tomorrow. Best of luck for a smooth transfer & try not to think about it (definitely easier said then done) Doctor Google isn't a good doctor 😂😂

im now 5days post transfer. Been crampy and sore like AF is coming so just praying it doesn’t come early and I at least make it to otd!! I don’t envy you with the lubion @Coops0406 ive heard it’s stingy. I feel strange having absolutely no meds post transfer. Literally everyone else I read about has medicated transfers and I’ve had no meds at all other than single injection on day of transfer. It’s so strange how different all the clinic protocols are.

@LT103 it's so weird isn't it how all clinics seem different. I find that the worse like (TMI) but every time I go to the loo in 2WW I wipe & check to me it's just part of how it is right 😂.
So hard not to symptom spot too!

I'm finding stims ok so far, I think they may start the fyremedal tomorrow & that one is always a pain to pierce but push a bit harder & it gets in!

@Reefy I found the fyremadel a bit stingy. I got a big red lump every time I injected it which was def better when I switched to legs but it wasn’t as easy as the menopur.

Hi all,

Little embryo on board 🥰 it's all done now and they used a guide to make sure they got to the place to feed the embryo through to (I ended up having to have this last time as i'm a bit bendy to get to but at least this time was straight from the off...I think because it was fully hatched then didn't want to do any messing around!)
I'm going to stop my googling and keep positive! Just seen my video of our little embaby developing added to our portal too which is amazing 😍

@LT103 just see it as a great thing that your body is doing it all naturally ☺️ what was the injection at transfer? When is your OTD? Do you think you will hold out until then? They have told me mine is Monday 6th June which is 11 days time.

@Dobcaty what date have they given you for your OTD?

@Reefy I'm sure you will have some decent ones. But just remember it's early and there may be a big difference from tomorrow to after the weekend and beyond.

Thank you all for your support this last few days...it's so great to have somewhere to vent with people who completely understand the madness. My clinic were so supportive too, as soon as in today all my nerves and fears went and they really made me feel like they were all rooting for us ❤️

@LT103 today is the last day of norethisterone! Actually was a pretty quick 12 days. Time seems to go a little less slow when you're actually actively "in" it and doing something I feel. Hope you are coping ok with the TWW, do you have any nice weekend plans?

@Coops0406 glad the little embryo is on board. Congratulations on being PUPO! 6th June will soon be here! Glad the clinic were supportive as it think it really does make a difference.

Yeah I know it's not really that long. Its that thing I get worried on the first one as we always hope it's started!

@LT103 oh did you, I've never had that. That's a good idea in the leg!

@Coops0406 i got an injection of ovitrelle at transfer which is hcg but stimulates body’s own production of progesterone. It’s the only thing I’ve had all FET, my clinic prefers natura cycles if you ovulate regularly

@Coops0406 congratulations to being PUPO! Have a lots of rest and look after yourself! My OTD is the same as yours, hoping the Jubilee madness will take off my mind and not ss. 🤞 regarding of the lubion I did the first close to my belly button and now that has a purple bruise on it! So I switched to the side of my tight and its much easier to push the liquid in and don't hurt at all and no bruise (yet)

@LT103 wow it's been already 5 days, times flies! I hope you feel the same. Can you remind me when is your OTD?

So my little update is, that we have 2 in the freezer! Couldn't get too much info as I was at work and I literally felt some looking when I gasped, I will call them back tomorrow. So one is in the oven, two is in the fridge 🤗😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️

@HJen22 thank you! Just been out for a nice meal with OH and the dog and had a lovely zero alcohol G&T! So you are now waiting for AF and then when do stims start? Do you have a baseline scan?

@Reefy I was just saying to OH that we've got a jam packed weekend so it'll soon be Monday then only another week!

@Dobcaty thank you! That's good about the thigh, I might try it soon! I've no bruising and it doesn't hurt at the time, but afterwards it feels very bruised!

@HJen22 I’m halfway through so another 5 days to go. Almost 4! today/tomorrow is when I would usually start spotting so 🤞🤞🤞

my stims are ok, I’m bleeding a lot everytime though. Have people had that with stims?? Worried I’m losing meds in the blood that comes out. And have to have tissue paper to hand to mop up everytime i inject. Wondering whether I should ask to inject in thigh perhaps?

@BlueSilver23 im sure you can do thigh or stomach with stims. I alternated and did menopur in stomach and fyremadel in thighI also found that if I let go pinching my skin before I took the needle out it helped.
