Hi,

I'm just starting this thread as i've kept joining previous ones in hope that I would be at the same time but got left behind with the ups and downs of ivf.
After 3 cycles, 2 failed fresh transfers, PGT-A testing to give us 3 euploid embryos and just now getting our results from the ALICE/EMMA/ERA tests, I am now finally in a position to hopefully start FET on my next cycle with a transfer likely to be end of May or early June!! 😍. Would love to have people to chat to who are following a similar timeline.

I had the call! All 10 of them are still developing, transfer scheduled to Wednesday afternoon! 🥳

@Thornbird80 have you any luck with the clinic yet? Just on my way there now for a scan! Hope you get to talk to someone that is helpful this time. Sometimes I find a particular lady isn't that helpful!

I’m starting stims on Wed if the scan looks ok😬 so aiming for EC bank holiday weekend ish providing all goes well. So finally have a plan!

Welcome @Tbeeka ! Can’t help with your query as I haven’t used buserelin except as a trigger shot but hopefully you get some answers soon

Both cysts still there measurements are around 16-18mm each. They said they aren't too concerned as had cysts the last 2 cycles. Now just waiting for some bloods I think she said it was to check my estradiol levels & they will contact me later to let me know if I can start the stims!

@PMAmostofthetime I was the same, really not well and I was still testing positive until day 9 I think it was! I hope you're feeling better this week? And tomorrow is your call yes?

@Babydust2u yay for finishing norethisterone! I finish mine on Thursday so not far behind you!

@Reefy really glad to hear they aren't concerned about the cysts. Everything crossed good news with bloods and you can get started tonight!

The henny was fun thanks! It was good since it was a sit down tapas meal thing then a section in a nice bar, I stayed til 8 then drove home. Only one person was a bit annoying about me not drinking (cos all my close friends know) and on her second "ooh are you pregnant face" I just said no I'm not I'm doing IVF 😂 I then felt bad if I'd made her feel awkward (but that's just me all over!) but like come on!! At one point I was stuck between two talking about breastfeeding and two talking about nurseries, but it could have been worse I suppose!

@reefy sounds like they aren’t too concerned so hopefully you can get started soon!

Most likely I'm out. Absolutely devastated.. Actually need to acknowledge it to myself, that my transfer failed...again...6th transfer already. Can't even describe how downhearted I am. So today is 10dp4dt (CD29), I got a lot on BPN's (tested a lot last days). Today I started spotting and having light cramps, this happens to me usually before AF. My cycle is usually 28-30 days, so about the time... Would like to hope for a miracle, but had stark white HPT, no even a shade of second line. My ODT is 30th of May which should be CD36 for me, have no clue why so late. Anyway I think there is no point to have bloods on this day, probably I will get full flow tomorrow or on wednesday.

@Dobcaty my gosh what absolutely fantastic news! 10 is amazing, so delighted for you. Those are such great numbers, I think best I've ever heard. Hopefully day 5 will be loads.

@Tbeeka I have used burselin I think as my trigger. All the med names are blending for me now.

@Coops0406 I have no idea how to navigate those convos. So difficult. I probably say too much that my partner wouldn't be happy with. I also now worry I have breached any future children's privacy at times but I think this will be just such normal convos by the time they are teens. I get super anxious!

On my estrogen a few days now and my face looks like the moon. I didn't have acne as a teen but IVF has destroyed my face! I'm way more tired this time than the last time. Finding it hard not to eat loads of chocolate.

@Tbeeka sorry I've not been on that medication so can't help. Have you contacted the clinic & said AF hasn't arrived yet?

Was in the clinic for 1 hour & 50 mins today! Had a breakdown when waiting to get bloods I just came over all emotional & was thinking wow how am I here again round 4! The nurse took me in for bloods & she said are you ok & I told her how I felt & she took my hand & said take your mask off & let it out & remember we are all here for you. Sometimes you just need to let it out! Felt better for it. Some days are just harder then others!

@Dobcaty that is amazing news! 🥳🥳🥳 you must be so pleased! You will definitely have some fab ones to choose from for Wednesday's transfer!

@BlueSilver23 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 glad you have a plan now! So is your clinic open all through bank holidays and weekends? That's amazing! I'm having all this issue with the potential need for progesterone and them not being able to do blood tests at the right time because they are closed at weekends! But I know they are doing their best to work around things to figure it out...just seems like a lot more unnecessary stress!

@Reefy I've had all my cycles with similar size cysts so I think unless they are in the way then you are good to go...sometimes they talk about maybe draining them when doing EC, although they said they'd do that with me and I still have a cyst on the left ovary! Good news though that you can get going 😊
How lovely was your nurse!! That is just what you need from them. And stay positive, yes it's your 4th round but you're in it and each time you are one step closer. Got everything crossed for you 🤞🏾❤️

@HJen22 glad you had a fab time at the hen do! I often wonder if I expect too much of people who know we're going through but continuously talk about everything that's going on with their kids and motherhood journey! Maybe I'm hyper sensitive but there's got to be other stuff they can talk about surely!
How many more days of the norithisterone?

@VO27 I'm so sorry to hear this! Sending you big hugs 🥰 you definitely don't think it could be implantation? It's a horrible feeling, don't say sorry at all. We're all thinking of you and really hoping that it's not what you think

@Courtjobby I've found myself the most tired I've ever been...this is only my second time with oestrogen but feel so drained! Am on 10mg a day which is 5 tablets so not sure if that's adding to it even more! Do you think it's bad eating chocolate and sweet things before FET? I just can't help myself!

@Coops0406 yes I've had them the last 2 cycles so seems just normal to me now. They've never mentioned about draining them but I might ask. Yeah she was really good bless her. My clinic opens bank holidays & Saturdays till about 12.30-1pm. It a shame they don't do transfers on the Wednesday that you could then get your bloods on the Friday!

@Coops0406 yeah I think I can be a little sensitive about it. I just know I have never questioned someone for not drinking, even before I was in this situation, cos it's up to the individual and quite often a personal reason they aren't! So not sure why others can't have the same consideration! 3 more days! I've been craving bad food today!! How are you getting on? Sorry to hear you're so tired! Listen to your body and get as much sleep as you need! I went to bed at 8.30pm last night!

@HJen22 yes call is tomorrow still no AF- so I'll do a test in the morning again so I can can confirm to them I'm not pregnant. And then discuss what to do. Day 8 for me today still positive :(.
Glad you enjoyed the Hen. I always say I have a water infection and I'd rather not continue to wee fire tomorrow. That usually shuts them up.

@VO27 so sorry to hear this, I've been there before OTD and had full flow and still continued to have a tiny bit of hope until the day. I'm sad your going through this. It helped me to post on here throughout. I also had a top from @HJen22 and bought a plant/ flower to commemorate my lost embies (I had 2 put back). And it helped me to move on.

@Courtjobby Thank you- it has made this whole process super hard- having to avoid things in fear of getting it before EC/ ET etc we have also not told anyone so it's made us super isolated and hard to find excuses.

My wee plant is growing and looks like it's going to flower soon, I hope so 🌸 how is yours doing? Haha good idea, I have the wedding in two weeks so I'll use that one if I need to!

@Reefy how lovely was this nurse. Sometimes we forget that we are human beings as we do robotically all the meds, appointments, scans...rooting for your next round!

@BlueSilver23 good to hear that finally you have the plan! 1 day to go until stimms. Good luck and hope everything goes well!

I have a question for those who used lubion before. Did you find hard to push down the syringe when you inject? First time I thought I'm just not used to it as its wider and smaller than the others, but it basically looks like has a vacuum which doesn't let the liquid to go in, if it makes sense. Any advice would be much appreciated!

@Coops0406 Apparently open everyday, even Christmas! But only for vital ECs and transfer etc. Not for other stuff.

@Reefy your nurse sounds lovely. So glad, it’s such a hard process to go through!

@HJen22 always the person that asks. At least people in work have stopped going on at me about when I’m going to have a baby or how I should have a baby and how much I would love it. One person in work knows I’m doing ivf and I don’t think she’s told anyone but maybe said not to say anything about it as the comments have definitely stopped!
