@Jx3303 Oh. I'm so so sorry, that's utterly heartbreaking. I also had a miscarriage after my 3rd cycle, horrific and I still cry when I talk about it, 4 years on. It's so cruel and unfair.

Take your time. You have frosties and you can get pregnant. It's such a traumatic road to parenthood, but there is no reason why you can't get there. Don't give up hope.
Sending you huge hugs and love xx

Hi there. Just a check in….hope everyone is doing well!! Our beautiful little boy Lewis was born on 1/6/23 by planned section. Everything went as planned and he has been an absolute dream baby so far. We’re in love!
cluster feeding started yesterday which is fun but he is just the most laid back baby! I can’t believe he is finally here 💙

Autumn245 · 07/06/2023 22:04

@LT103 Congratulations! 💙 hope you are recovering well. Enjoy all the baby snuggles 🥰

Sorry for the late reply- congratulations!

Cluster feeding does get better I promise our little one has cows milk allergy and reflux so I'm now dairy free to continue to breastfeed.

It is getting easier.

Glad everything went well x

Congratulations everyone, I thought I'd pop by here to see if there were any updates and its lovely to hear that things have worked out for some of you 💙

We also welcomed our little boy into the world in July this year so there is hope for those of you who are still on the rollercoaster.

@PMAmostofthetime Your little one sounds very similar to mine, he also has CMPA and really bad reflux. Feel free to drop a message if you want to chat, though we're still in the process of trialing numerous things!

PMAmostofthetime · 01/04/2024 07:29

@Rosemary121 Thank You, just seen this. As a year is fast approaching I thought I'd check back in. Hope your little one is doing well?

I hope there's been more good news for lots of your journeys?

X

Lovely to hear from you and I hope all is well. How is your little one?

My little guy is doing well, he is almost 9 months old now. We've been referred to a dietician for the CMPA but the reflux is almost behind us now which is a huge relief. He already has 7 teeth and is starting to want to stand all the time, though no crawling yet!

Hope more of you on the journey have had some positive outcomes ❤

PMAmostofthetime · 02/04/2024 22:48

Weaning turned out a lot more allergies for my little one sadly but we are dealing with them and shes doing well. She's taken her first steps buy I wouldn't say she's a walker yet.

We seen a dietician but they basically sent me a load of things and told me to do the ladders at 1 and 18 months 🙈. Hope you get more help. M reflux is thankfully only an occasional thing for us now too,when's she's stuffed her face or ate too fast.

It's been an amazing year 🥰.

I really hope there's more positive news on the thread :)

Hi all! My DD is 18 months in a few days! Madness.

I feel like infertility never leaves me though. It's not like now she's here it's all just resolved. Anyone else finding that?

DH has had the snip and we destroyed our last frosties. Can't do it again

How are we all?!

@Jx3303 How're you doing? Xx

PMAmostofthetime · 01/06/2024 22:09

@AliceAbsolum
18 months wow doesn't it fly by.
My DD is 14 months in a few days- still can't believe she's here.

No never leaves you, the what ifs and the maybes always creep in.
We have 2 frosties that I can't bare to let defrost so we have a lovely storage bill to pay. Keep toying with putting them in. But if they don't stick then I know I I can't do another full round and once we start I know there's no going back!

How's life off the road? X

Somatronic · 01/06/2024 23:17

Hi all. Mine is nearly 17months I guess.

I have 4 frosties but plan to leave my job soon and so the timing isn't great maternity leave wise. I'd like to have a second child but will probably be a while yet. Not that I have lots of time but the decision seems to be out of my hands with the job stuff.

Hope all is well. @AliceAbsolum the lifestyle change must have been especially huge for you? How you doing?

LKSF · 02/06/2024 06:31

@AliceAbsolum time is such a thief isn’t it 😭
It’s still always at the back of my mind haunting me, and for some reason still get a bit jeleous when ppl tell me they’re pregnant first time trying 🙄
I also have some Frosties that we are going to use this year but I’m so scared of going down that dark road again!! X

Autumn245 · 02/06/2024 18:29

Hi everyone. Our daughter is now 17 months old and we are thinking of trying for a sibling. We also have some frosties but it's a scary thought getting the process started. We are unexplained infertility so I'm still holding onto hope that we could conceive naturally but trying to be realistic with my expectations

Ah you are all very brave doing it again! The thought of doing another FET and another pregnancy, another section, another year of sleep deprivation....Absolutely not. In a way its easier to be so clear on it. But its another infertility issue I guess ...If DH and I had conceived within a few months naturally then I think we would have had another one. But! I'm very happy with my 1. After 7 years, 4 rounds and having to use donor eggs she is an absolute miracle.

AliceAbsolum · 04/06/2024 09:06

Plus a shag is free 😅 with flights and hotels etc it would be about 5k just to have another go.

My baby being a good sleeper is central to my decision to try to have another one. I would not be going again otherwise!

PMAmostofthetime · 08/06/2024 21:28

@Somatronic what's the secret
DD is 14 months old and still doesn't sleep 😴
Wouldn't change her for the world. 🌎

I do need some Botox though 🙈.

I wish there was a secret I could share! I think it might be genetic. All my nieces and niblings slept well too and so did I.

If it makes you feel better she's having a sleep regression at the moment 😂

PMAmostofthetime · 08/06/2024 22:20

@Somatronic They are hellish after getting sleep. She doesn't sleep but when there's a regression I'm dead lol 😂

I slept l, the OH apparently didn't 😂.

What timeline you thinking for a sibling? If we are going to do it, it needs to be soon, time isn't on my side x

Somatronic · 08/06/2024 23:18

I'm 37 so need to get moving but because of work I'm a bit tied. I need to change jobs and wait for maternity benefits 😬

LKSF · 09/06/2024 01:50

@PMAmostofthetime My little ones 14months and rubbish at sleeping too! I’m trying to sleep train this week as I’m just so exhausted. Oh and I’m with you on that, I had my first Botox today (I look and feel like I’ve aged 5years) x

Coops0406 · 14/06/2024 14:47

Hi all,
Can't believe we are here talking about our babies being over 1! Pretty sure I've aged more in this last year than ever!! 😂

If it makes anyone feel better, we don't get sleep here either! He does 2 hours in his cot then he won't go back in and we haven't had the energy to be persistent to try! He ends up in bed with us but is just such a terrible sleeper!

We're also looking at using our final embryo...I'm 42 this year and conceiving naturally seems like it would never happen...plus if it did the likelihood of it leading to a full term pregnancy is minimal.
But, the FET where I am has gone up by £1000...it's nearly £3k...without meds! I'm seriously thinking of seeing how much it would be to transfer the embryo to another clinic as it may be cheaper in the long run!

I hope everyone is loving motherhood..even with the extra bags and never ending baby brain! 🥰
