@Steph2345 Thank you, I had a breast feeding midwife visit me Friday and she recommended using a Hakka ( Amazon) to collect milk the same time I feed baby- the top her up with a bottle, so she's used to both. She also recommended nanobebe bottles and dummies for their flexible teats which are designed for Breast fed babies. We have the dummies now, which were spat out at first but she already loves.

@LKSF will let you know how the Hakka goes, the midwife said if I've collected 2 oz during feeding for the opposite breast baby lis on the baby's had at least 3.
The point is it offers reassurance and milk fur partner to bottle fed from early on.

@PMAmostofthetime aww yes please let me know how you get on. I’ve been using the Medela manual pump which seems to be good, but would like to know how the Hakka is x

@@PMAmostofthetime Huge Congratulations! I'm so pleased for you! What a journey. Hope you're recovering OK.

I never got on with pumping, just found it a faff with all the bottles and sterilizing etc etc. But most of my nct group use bottles.

I made a big list DH only liked one of them 😅

I've made huge lists oh picks one he likes I decide it's not perfect! I'm going to try again tomorrow x

we had scan today at 34 weeks and he’s already measuring over 6lb. 5 weeks to go now!!

@PMAmostofthetime heartbreakingly we have had a missed miscarriage and I was in hospital for surgical management on Tuesday. Beyond heartbroken. Thanks for checking in. Hope you're doing well and baby girl settling in x
