@thatismahogany lines look pretty good. What date did your clinic say to test?

thatismahogany · 18/03/2022 11:46

@Bryterlayter1 thank you that is reassuring Smile I read somewhere the trigger could linger as long as 17 days!

And @MollyVanDer thank you, and OTD is Tuesday so still a few days. Wish I'd waited so I could (hopefully!!) just have seen a strong line

Bryterlayter1 · 18/03/2022 11:47

Sorry @Jennie154 meant to also tag you in my last post. I'm so sorry about what has happened, fingers crossed you also will be able to get some answers.

thatismahogany · 18/03/2022 12:19

@MollyVanDer I've just seen your OTD is the day after mine. I admire your restraint not testing before then!!

MollyVanDer · 18/03/2022 13:12

@thatismahogany it's more that whilst I don't test I still have the hope. Not really any symptoms of success so thinking I'm not going to be lucky this time and hate a BFN removing all hope, so at least for now I still have that. You look in a good place though so enjoy every day of seeing lines 😀

thatismahogany · 18/03/2022 15:23

@MollyVanDer honestly all of my symptoms could easily be mistaken for the usual PMS symptoms. And I've seen people post before about having no symptoms and being surprised. I've got my fingers crossed for you and thank you Smile

Bluehawaii29 · 18/03/2022 16:06

@Jennie154 @HJen22 sorry to hear your news. I hope you can get some answers soon/ explore other options if needed x

Gigi89x · 18/03/2022 16:10

Iv got one one side which feels like it could where my ovary is. Has anyone else had this after stopping progesterone?

Gigi89x · 18/03/2022 16:11

Pain on one side*

Bluehawaii29 · 18/03/2022 16:19

@Gigi89x hey I did an early scan prior to starting my second cycle just to check that everything was fine as I had been paranoid about a polyp coming back. It might be worth also checking things out earlier including ovary cysts etc

Gigi89x · 18/03/2022 16:37

@Bluehawaii29 thats A good idea, i do have a fibroid. I should probably get that rechecked before starting my FET cycle

Frenchiepupmama · 18/03/2022 18:17

@womaninkent yes that's for my 12 week scan. When I called the midwife booking number the receptionist at my doctors gave me she just made both appointments one to meet midwife next Fri and the one in April for scan. X

Frenchiepupmama · 18/03/2022 18:22

@Jennie154, @HJen22 sorry to hear your news. I hope that in the near future you get to explore all the options available. Xx

MollyVanDer · 18/03/2022 20:33

Absolutely devastated. Spotting started 9dp5dt. AF on the way and my dreams are shattered, again.

Gigi89x · 18/03/2022 21:00

@MollyVanDer I'm so sorry, is it definitely AF Or could it be implantation?

MollyVanDer · 18/03/2022 21:03

@Gigi89x nope just did a test and nothing BFN :(

Gigi89x · 18/03/2022 21:14

So sorry @MollyVanDer 😢 how many cycles have you had before? Was this a fresh or frozen? 🤍

MollyVanDer · 18/03/2022 21:16

@Gigi89x this was my third cycle. I had a BFN on my first fresh cycle (no frozen). Second cycle none made it to day 5 so no transfer

Bluehawaii29 · 18/03/2022 21:43

@MollyVanDer oh no I’m so sorry to hear this, I logged in to check how you’re doing and just read it. Really unfair and wish it could be different but please don’t give up. You can also try and explore other options when the time is right if that’s what you want but each fresh cycle can sometimes give different results so don’t give up. Sending you lots of hugs xxx

XjustagirlX · 18/03/2022 21:55

@MollyVanDer so sorry to hear that. Have you started spotting while taking progesterone?

On a wider question is it possible for a period to start while taking progesterone?

Bluehawaii29 · 18/03/2022 22:15

@XjustagirlX yes I spotted early on first cycle when I was on 2 pessaries a day. This time they added Lubion injections in the evenings. They thought maybe I hadn’t been absorbing the pessaries as well

Jennie154 · 18/03/2022 22:27

@MollyVanDer. Really sorry it is totally crap. X

MollyVanDer · 19/03/2022 07:51

@XjustagirlX I learned that spotting to light bleeding around day 9+ after transfer is usually a bad sign, but that's just my experiences. On my previous cycle I was only on 2 x 200 cyclogest but this cycle I was on 3 x Utrogestan and 1 x Lubion, extra progesterone to combat the failure being a progesterone issue.

A friend of mine was prescribed steroids as her clinic thought that she may have high volume of natural killer cells so her body was rejecting the embryos. I'm starting to think I should get this test done. Has anyone had this test?

Bryterlayter1 · 19/03/2022 07:59

@MollyVanDer I'm so very sorry. I know there are no words that will make this less painful. Thinking of you in this difficult time.

Millymillymillymillymilly · 19/03/2022 08:25

I couldn’t help it but I got a blood test at 14dpt 5dt privately as my clinic doesn’t offer them at this stage. The level was 1,794 iu/l (I only had 1 embryo transferred).

Seeing as the level is quite high, do I still need to go back and do a second blood test to ensure the hcg is doubling? Or do you think I’m ok to wait till my ultrasound scan? Suggestions appreciated :)
