@IE00 thanks! My clinic says to wait until 14dpt but will test at 11dpt with a FRER 🤞🏻
During my last fresh cycle I full on bled whilst still on crinone, but my fet I was taking cyclogest 800mg and didn’t start bleeding until about 4 days after stopping it! So it varies with meds for me! Back on crinone this time so it’s likely I’ll bleed before OTD if it’s negative!

Sadly our last embryo didn’t make it to a good enough grade to freeze so our last chances are on board now!! 🙈 Please be sticky little embies! 🙏🏻

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 10:55

@IVFGotThis05 hiya I’m at my scan now :) just waiting to see what this lining is doing

xreadytoglow · 21/02/2022 10:57

@Bluehawaii29 good luck for your scan today. Hoping for a nice lining for you this time 🤞🏼

@IVFGotThis05 good luck for yours tomorrow!

@crazycatlady1981 aww everything crossed for your two on board. I'm sure they are getting snuggly in there.

This is all new to me so it feels so weird to think I have a little embryo in there. Trying not to do too much physical things at work without making it look like I'm not pulling my weight 🙈 tricky balance. I swear I felt nauseous this morning but I think that's because I've just had a week off work so had to get up early today 😂

IVFGotThis05 · 21/02/2022 11:03

Ahh ill keep my fingers crossed for you ! @Bluehawaii29!!

Thank you :) @xreadytoglow Congrats on your embaby! I struggled with that on my last cycle, if I try to not be so physical it does just look like I'm doing nothing but you have to try and be careful so so be it lol :)

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 11:22

@IVFGotThis05 thank you , it’s much better today Smile now at 7.6mm so improvement from 6.9mm on Friday. The next scan is Friday and I’ll continue on 4 tabs a day so they expect it to be good by then and then transfer can go ahead next weds in my week off🤞🤞

Justawannabemam · 21/02/2022 11:34

@Bluehawaii29 great news . 👍

@Bluehawaii29 Great news ! and you have a week off ready for transfer ! Hopefully it's smooth sailing from now :)

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 11:49

@Justawannabemam @IVFGotThis05 thank you, yeah just got to get through today and tomorrow morning work then going to try and squeeze in some more mindfulness and relaxation techniques x

crazycatlady1981 · 21/02/2022 12:02

@Bluehawaii29 great news on your lining! Always such a relief when things are progressing nicely!

@IVFGotThis05 good luck tomorrow for your lining scan! 🤞🏻

@xreadytoglow I’m the same, had a walk this morning and tried not to race along like I usually do!! 😂 Had a few twinges so far, but I had them on my last fresh round too and that didn’t work so I’m trying desperately not to symptoms spot this time!!

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 12:08

@crazycatlady1981 thank you x where about date you from, there’s so many storms where I am and making it impossible to walk, so windy even for my dog to go. He’s a tiny mini daschund

crazycatlady1981 · 21/02/2022 12:19

@Bluehawaii29 I’m in Wiltshire! It’s pretty windy here but felt good to get a bit of fresh air after being indoors for the last few days! 😀

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 12:23

@crazycatlady1981 sounds great! Yeah I’m hoping to go for some light walks from tomorrow afternoon. Back is feeling a lot better but still bit uncomfortable in the upper thighs/ very low back area

womaninkent · 21/02/2022 12:31

Great news @Bluehawaii29.

xreadytoglow · 21/02/2022 13:48

@Bluehawaii29 brilliant news!! All timed perfectly too.

@crazycatlady1981 yes I'm the same with the twinges!! Won't read too much into it 😩

MollyVanDer · 21/02/2022 14:31

@Bluehawaii29 brilliant that your lining has improved!

@IE00 I was on progesterone and I started having very light spotting at 9dp5dt it was hardly noticeable, just on the tissue after a wipe it looked a little pink. It was the progesterone keeping AF from coming. My cycle ended in a BFN OTD test 14dp5dt. Everyone is different as someone I know bled on and off throughout 2WW and had a BFP! Wish you well

JP3264 · 21/02/2022 14:41

Hi All,
Didn't think I'd be posting on here as I thought I'd (almost) got used to the rollercoaster of ivf. Had EC today and just had a call from the clinic that sperm motility has dropped off a cliff since last time and they need to do icsi, and it's hard not to feel down about it. My partner had a little bit of a sniffle a couple of days ago, so I'm guessing this was what caused it. He didn't feel at all unwell, so it's a bit of a shock that it's gone from 44% to 8% since the last cycle. The annoying thing is that we haven't even gone out anywhere/seen anyone for weeks, so he must have caught it just from passing someone in the street.
Anyway, best wishes for everyone else with their cycle this month.

IE00 · 21/02/2022 14:42

@MollyVanDer Thanks. Yes I was on 800mg of progesterone so not sure why I bled, I'm only obsessing over this because I am wondering if I needed more progesterone for my little embryo to stay alive. Trying to find reason in what is basically a total gamble. Sad

@crazycatlady1981 and @xreadytoglow I am crossing everything for you that this will be the last transfer you will need for this baby.

@Bluehawaii29 this is great. My lining was 6.9mm and they went ahead and it was a BFP with baby number 1. The doc said it wasn't just the thickness, but if you have a "triple line", that means you've got all the right hormones for little embryo to need. Good luck!

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 14:49

@IE00 thank you that’s good to know regarding your successful cycle and the lining thickness. I asked about the three lines today and she showed me on the screen it’s definitely trilaminar so that was another reassuring thing to hear. Just gotta hope embryos are doing well still when they thaw and maybe the glue might help them along fingers crossed. I also bled early last cycle so they are giving me progesterone injections as well as pessaries this time. I think they will start them on Friday if scan is good enough
@JP3264 I’m sorry to hear that the numbers for sperm dropped today but ICSI should help you a lot, we got really good fertilisation results with it, my partner has sperm issues and we still managed to get 7 out of 8 eggs fertilised so fingers crossed yours will be ok x

JP3264 · 21/02/2022 14:56

@Bluehawaii29 thank you, that's reassuring to hear. It was a bit of a shock, and having to make a decision in 10 minutes about what to do didn't help! I wish they'd gone through the possibility in advance so we weren't rushed into it.

Gigi89x · 21/02/2022 14:57

Anyone else got their egg collection this week? Mine is this Thursday Smile slightly nervous as my first round of IVF

Bluehawaii29 · 21/02/2022 15:02

@JP3264 yeah they always decide about ICSI on the day even with us. They just look at the parameters on the most recent sample of the day and base it on that but they are just doing it in your own interests to increase fertilisation rates rather than using natural ivf which could yield lower rates in this case and waste good eggs just because of sperm issues. After they are fertilised both methods give equal success rates according to studies. I’ve done a lot of research in to because we have MFI so try to reassure myself as much as possible that ICSI is safe and have been told only good things about it by all the clinicians I speak to including the embryologists Smile

Jennie154 · 21/02/2022 15:15

@MollyVanDer I’m please you got some compensation for their mistakes. Fingers crossed for your next round.

IVFGotThis05 · 21/02/2022 16:20

@Gigi89x I don't but it's a very exciting time ! I had my first round in November ! It's obviously a very worrying time, but egg collection for my was great.. the drugs were fab, I had a lovely sleep after and woken up with tea and toast. I hope you get a good number of eggs, wish you all the luck :)

LBalf · 21/02/2022 16:30

Hi all, it's CharlieBalf here but I locked myself out (actually dropped my phone in the bath ...long story) so I'm here under a slightly different name.

I had my first FET on the 17th Feb, my lining was 7.5mm at the last scan but was told it looked great and they were happy to progress. She said the Nottingham site had a minimum of 6.5mm and had the highest number of live births in the company!

I had a 2BB embryo transferred- the two I found out indicates how far developed the emb is, 6 meaning it begun to hatch already so I'm expecting a late implantation (fingers crossed.)

Had lots of cramping so far but no twinges. Don't feel much different from normal. I'm on a lot of drugs still, 5xestrogel 2x progesterone pessories and 1xinhixa and 1xlubion injections. It's a nightmare keeping track of all the meds.

OTD isn't until the 4th March! 16 days after transfer! I might test at around 12 or 13 days but there must be a reason the clinic asks for that date?

Well done @mochii amazing news!

xreadytoglow · 21/02/2022 16:59

@Gigi89x good luck with it all! It's also my first round of IVF so I didn't know what to expect. The experience itself was very positive, all thanks to my clinic for their bedside manner, they were great. It's just nerve wracking then when you get the calls about how many have fertilised and made it to day 3 and 5. But just remember you've done all that you can and try not to stress about things that're outside of your control. Everything will work out 💐

@LBalf aw it all sounds very promising so best of luck and baby dust to you ✨ there's a few of us testing around the end of Feb/start of March so you'll be in good company. I hope we all get the result we want 🤞🏼
