I cant remember now tbh. I had it then it stopped. I tested positive but then unfortunately had a CP 2 weeks later. Ours was graded a 3BB so not as good quality as yours. Try not to stress cos just think if you are positive you aren't doing yourself or baby good by getting worked up. I see it as its out of my hands and there is nothing I can do but just let my body do what's going on x.

Vslightlystressy · 08/02/2022 12:57

Hello - if it is any reassurance I spent all of the time between transfer and test symptom spotting and stressing whether to test earlier. I have just had a little pain (which has settled down), nausea and tiredness - no spotting. I did the test on Saturday and it was positive (much to my shock and delight!)

Jazz234 · 08/02/2022 13:09

@dbop100 I had my transfer last Wednesday and started to spot Monday. Could just be early signs of period though as I do normally spot before that. Basically...any symptom can be interpreted in a million ways. Exhausting isn't it.

LuckyNovember · 08/02/2022 13:19

@Dbop100 I had my transfer on Wednesday as well and I just had some light cramps 2dp and 4dp but no spotting. Since 5dp no cramps, I feel like my bloating has gone down and energy up; no idea if it's good or bad, but will find out on Friday.

I don't have a lot of experience in this regard, but I understand that every pregnancy can be completely different! I had one negative day, I think it was Thursday (1dp) where I was just a bit down on the whole thing, but actually I think it was probably just the come down from the thrill of actually managing to get to transfer!

Look after yourself, you're not alone in 2ww limbo, with you and hoping for good outcome all round 😊

LuckyNovember · 08/02/2022 13:25

@Jazz234 i think that sounds very promising 😊 I thought your period can't start until you stop taking the progesterone? I could be wrong there, but I always thought that spotting so soon after transfer was indeed rather the other thing 🤞🏻

Jazz234 · 08/02/2022 13:31

@luckynovember ...yes fingers crossed. I have had just the worst luck the whole way through this cycle and I guess I am in a very negative state of mind. So my thoughts yesterday went straight to 'oh great, I am not on enough progesterone and my period is coming' haha.
Feel better today. We will see!!

LuckyNovember · 08/02/2022 13:34

@Jazz234 when do you test?

Dbop100 · 08/02/2022 13:36

Thank you everyone ❤️

You're all so right I know better than to symptom spot normally, I guess today my intrusive thoughts took over my logic brain. We did a transfer last April and it was a BFN so kind of reliving that again now.

I think this is just a come down off the excitement of the transfer, which I honestly didn't think we'd even get to as I only had 1 egg collected. Our doctor referred to this as our 'closure round' so I wasn't expecting much but then they told us the egg made it to blast and was graded top quality and I guess we got a bit over excited.

For ref I am 35 but have a super low AMH and low follicle count which is why I only got 1 egg and it was totally expected x

Jazz234 · 08/02/2022 13:38

@luckynovember I am meant to test on Saturday but due to a a very busy day sat, going to do it Friday in case it is bad news and I can just grieve for the day! :)

LuckyNovember · 08/02/2022 13:41

@Jazz234 same here 😬 I'll be at the office, so hopefully distracted, and then I have the weekend to digest whatever news ... gonna get myself a fancy bottle of wine to open Friday Eve in case it's negative #silverlinings

Jazz234 · 08/02/2022 14:11

@luckynovember aw I have everything crossed for you. Some wine sounds good. I bought some fancy cocktail things for valentines so il dig into those if it doesn't work :) x

NaomiNatNat · 08/02/2022 16:17

On the topic of wine and Valentine's day, I take it it's ok to have a glass of wine after EC? As in before ET 😬 Really craving some wine

LuckyNovember · 08/02/2022 16:36

@NaomiNatNat I definitely did... and enjoyed it even more thinking that it could even be the last time I enjoy it for 9 months 😉

LetstalkaboutBruno · 08/02/2022 17:24

Evening of 1DP5DT and already close to losing the plot!! 😂🙈

Hope everyone’s had a lovely day!

Dbop100 · 08/02/2022 18:32

Some of you might have seen this before, wondering if anyone knows if Day 1 is the day of the transfer or the day after the transfer?

TTCinmy40s · 08/02/2022 18:35

Lovely news to read about people having had embryo transfers. I have felt like I'm on a roller coaster since mine yesterday, one minute a feel good, the next minute I'm crying and feel exhausted. I've just eaten chicken and that has made me feel better so lots of chicken tomorrow!

TTCinmy40s · 08/02/2022 18:36

@Dbop100 I think that my clinic call day 1 the day of the transfer

Dbop100 · 08/02/2022 18:39

@TTCinmy40s ah ok so I'm on day 4 eek! Thanks

LetstalkaboutBruno · 08/02/2022 18:46

@Dbop100 the day of a procedure is day 0. So the day after is day 1.

Yognog1 · 08/02/2022 19:12

If I end up having to do a freeze all can anyone run me through how a FET works?
Would I be able to do it on my next cycle?
What day of your cycle is the transfer? I’ve just realised I don’t know anything about a FET 🙈

ReadyForTheAdventure · 08/02/2022 19:23

Hello ladies,
Can I join please?
I'm due for a transfer on Thursday (day 3). What to expect on the day please? Embryologist already told us that my husband won't be allowed in but can face time prior to discuss everything and during the procedure (ehmm, okay..)

Any inside is much appreciated. Good luck to all on your journeys!!! X

womaninkent · 08/02/2022 19:27

@Dbop100 I didn't have any spotting on my BFP. I think only some women get it

Mochii · 08/02/2022 19:36

I didn’t have spotting either.

@ReadyForTheAdventure not much happens really, you go into the chair ready and someone comes out with a thin tube and puts it in. You can’t feel anything. That was it for me.

@Yognog1 I am not sure when you can start by the process seems to differ. I’m doing a FET cycle now and have no injections. I take estrogen pills from day 2 until a BFN or further if positive. From day 12 I started progesterone pessaries on top of this. Thats the only medication for me. My ET is day 17.

Dbop100 · 08/02/2022 19:38

@womaninkent thank you! I think because I had it before when I was pregnant I was assuming it would happen again if it works, I just went back and checked my period tracker and realised it didn't happen until like 12dpo though so much later.

@ReadyForTheAdventure good luck! Are you doing it with the NHS? I'm not sure why your husband isn't allowed in I'm sorry that sucks. Mine was this time (our clinic is private) but wasn't for our last transfer in April. My main tip would be fill your bladder as much as you can! My first transfer I didn't as much and it hurt but this time it was painless (except I really needed a wee) x

crazycatlady1981 · 08/02/2022 21:46

Good luck to everyone who’s got ECs or transfers tomorrow! 🤞🏻 xx
