What team did you select message to be sent to? You might be as well resending to nursing team with urgent in the title then I'm sure they'll pick it up first thing. I think they just need to make sure you're not pregnant if you don't have a bleed (!!) x

RMS0209 · 28/08/2022 22:31

Hi @LouScot thanks so much for replying
I don't have "set" times just twice a day 12hrs apart so was planning on 7.20 and 19.20 (before work and then home and comfortable for the evening one) yes was very sure about the bleed, was just very light spotting that I've had since the provera (which they were not alarmed about) I will go message again on the portal and put urgent in, first message was to nursing team so back I go again xx

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 08:07

@RMS0209 Hi, hope you get through to GCRM this morning. I think one of my cycles we delayed start of stims because I hadn't bled yet either x

RMS0209 · 29/08/2022 08:09

Hi @2mumlife & @LouScot
GCRM phoned at 7.30, she cancelled todays start 😢 didn't seem to worried said it can take up to 7 days and if I bleed before 10am today I can start if not hold off and phone when I bleed.
Feel a lot calmer hearing same thing happened to you @2mumlife
Hope everybody has a nice week, I'll be sitting at home praying for a bleed 😂 oh how times have changed xx

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 08:09

P.S. if you miss the most convienient time for you, just move the time by 15 mins each day back to the time you'd prefer - 15 mins either way wont make a difference x

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 08:13

@RMS0209 I went through exactly this irony of waiting for period to start. Glad you got hold of someone to get confirmation. Hopefully you'll be getting started with stims in the next few days :)

Kamiros · 29/08/2022 09:14

@RMS0209 Glad someone called you. Happened to me too, just delayed by one day.

I've been in for my bloods this morning - and now we wait.... Can't believe I've gone this long and not tested. Struggling to feel hopeful today but you never know.

RMS0209 · 29/08/2022 10:05

You ladies always make things better 😂 knew a post on this thread would calm me right down.

@2mumlife that's great to hear about 15 mins, I want to try do it at the most convenient time for morning and night.. what times did you go for? Out of interest!

@Kamiros I feel so much better to hear that a few of us have had to postpone a few days, I felt so sad on the phone to GCRM this morning she seemed not concerned at all, I think I just got sad when I saw everything taken off my portal (I know it's only temporary but still!) x

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 11:17

@Kamiros Keeping everything crossed for your results phone call xxxx

@RMS0209 I can't remember to be honest, pretty early as my partner did all my injections so we woke up, did the injection then had breakfast before she had to get off to work.

OP posts:
LouScot · 29/08/2022 11:19

@Kamiros really hoping you get the good news today x

Kamiros · 29/08/2022 11:20

@2mumlife Unfortunately BFN for me too. Just waiting to hear from Spain about what happens now. Pretty disappointed but it is what it is

LouScot · 29/08/2022 11:23

Oh @Kamiros so sorry to hear that xx

Kamiros · 29/08/2022 11:26

@LouScot Thank you. This whole process sucks right. 😂 My hcg was 3 which I reckon is totally negative and is just what's naturally in the body.

RMS0209 · 29/08/2022 11:31

@Kamiros I am so sorry I missed the bottom part of your message and have saw update 😢 xxx

Kamiros · 29/08/2022 11:38

@RMS0209 Thanks. It'll be ok. We get up....and we go again.

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 12:55

@Kamiros Oh hun I'm sorry :( I kept thinking this was it for you when you hadn't made it to OTD before. It's still a step in the right direction that the drug protocol has got you to OTD. Hope you can get your next steps forward arranged soon. Take care of yourself this afternoon x

OP posts:
Kamiros · 29/08/2022 13:40

@2mumlife Thank you. Apparently all cases have to be reviewed by a medical committee which will be next week then we'll know the next steps. There's a lot of positives to take from this round, not saying this was the issue but progesterone was really low on the day of transfer so think they'll want to sort that next time.

Hastohappe · 29/08/2022 15:23

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me joining. I was on the Scottish thread before. Had a failed round last year. Furthest for this time was a 3 day transfer or a top grade embryo 2 weeks ago now had a bleed this morning and a BFN. But the clinic have said OTD is tomorrow and I have to take another test then.

Really everyone’s posts we really do go through the ringer with this don’t we. I don’t have anymore goes on NHS so really don’t know what to do now 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hastohappe · 29/08/2022 15:24

Sorry meant reading not really

LouScot · 29/08/2022 15:29

Hi @Hastohappe sorry you're having a tough time too, you never know what might happen tomorrow, the clinic obviously feel you're not out yet.

Hastohappe · 29/08/2022 15:41

Thanks @LouScot I think they are just following protocol, a bleed and a negative pregnancy test are not going to change overnight I think they just have to follow the rules and ensure I test 15 days after transfer.

Just seems like delaying the inevitable. I did a first response not long ago and nothing not even a faint line. Can’t see that changing in 24 hours.

The worst with the NHS is there is no real aftercare you get a follow up but it’s doesn’t really go into any details. Last time they blamed my age which is a crap excuse.

RMS0209 · 31/08/2022 07:56

7 days since my last provera... still no bleeding, I'm loosing my mind! X

Hastohappe · 03/09/2022 08:54

Morning ladies, I hope everyone is well.

worry if this bring up painful memories, but did anyone have physical symptoms after a failed embryo transfer, I feel like crap! I stopped progesterone on Monday, I bled on Monday morning but was still told to take the test anyway on Tuesday which I knew would be negative. My period was very light in colour but was heavy and had clots not many, finished on Thursday.

I have an upset tummy sorry TMI, I am nauseous I have a weird pulling and stretching feeling in my lower right uterus only, I’m having sweats in the mornings and nights and I’m generally knackered. I know the meds will probably take a while to get through my system but just wondered if this was normal. I know this is probably my ovaries etc. settling down and I obviously I would be due to ovulate next week so maybe things just settling down and kicking back up again.

Pregnancy tests are negative took one this morning just to put my mind to rest.

Kamiros · 03/09/2022 10:02

@Hastohappe I had a failed transfer this week too. I stopped the meds on Monday and started bleeding yesterday. Yesterday and today have been horrific. I have a really upset stomach, heavy bleeding with clots, my stomach and ovaries are agony and generally just feeling sore and crap. I've had 2 failed transfers previously where I bled on day 8 and don't remember them being this bad, I wasn't on progesterone then though so am putting it down to that.

Basically I think its probably normal. I don't really have any ideas of what can help but you're not alone.

Hastohappe · 03/09/2022 10:06

Hi @Kamiros I’m sorry to hear about your failed transfer this journey is 💩

I didn’t bleed until the day before official OTD so thought this was a good round, shouldn’t get hopes up 🤷🏼‍♀️

it’s bad enough we have to get through this but these symptoms just seem like more of a kick in the teeth.

I hope we both feel better soon ☹️
