@ExhaustedPigeon1988 pigeon, I am sorry you’re going through this. I read that bleeds are surprising normal during pregnancy so it might well be nothing to worry about. GPs honestly are the worst, they’re just so underfunded in most places. I think your best bet is to do private bloods two days apart to see what is happening, like you’ve said. I booked bloods with my clinic in the past on the understanding that I would pay but in the end the nurse took pity on me and didn’t invoice. Might be worth telling your clinic you want to pay for bloods.

@Chrischross my clinic just make me mad, as they don't give a FK. I'm slightly more mentally stable than yesterday, and now know I have a scan at hospital within the next couple of days. Debating being a drama queen at going AnE, but feel like a dick when others need the space more than me x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 great news about the scan. How was the bleeding today? The waiting time at my local A&E is crazy. If it was lower and I was in your situation I would probably pop down. Worst they can do is send you home if they think it’s not appropriate for you to be there.

@Chrischross I called the early pregnancy unit at the hospital to find out when the test was myself in the end. My logic was if it wasn't too long I would wait, if they either didn't know or it was ages I was going to AnE. I'm booked for 11.30 tomorrow, so am impatiently waiting lol. Still a lot of bleeding, maybe my imagination but I think it's slowing. Thank you for asking x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 thank you. Yes it can! Its just a bloody hard way to do it. Damn these 'normal' people. 🤣 I think it's just a combination of things going right and a bit of luck. Its very frustrating.

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I've just seen your post! You know after all my stressing coz I was spotting well then Sunday before last I had a big bleed bright red blood and passed a clot. The clinic told me to call 111 who then said to go to a & e they did some tests and was at least able to see if my womb was closed then I had a scan 2 days later (should have been next day but they messed it up) the scan the obviously put mind at rest massively as we could see the babies. I'm still a paranoid mess but I'm loads better now I've seen them. It's definitely worth calling 111 at the least xx

@Infertilitywarrior I think of you when this started. Thank you for your messages. Sadly I think I way past that point now, heavy red bleeding since 1.20pm yesterday, so well over 24 hours, now appears to be slowing, but had lots of clots approx smallest finger nail size, atleast 10, so not optimistic at all :( can't wait for tomorrow to be over :(

Thank you @Holskey and @paintfairy for your thoughts, I have lost all hope tbh. Tests are still very positive, but have read online that they can stay that way for upto 4-6 weeks :-/ that said all previous chemicals I have seen faded lines almost immediately! Also have had no pregnancy symptoms at all, other than tiredness, and that's not a good sign either :(

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 just to say I'm so sorry for what you are going through. The place of not knowing either way is the worst torture there is. In some ways, even when things go horribly wrong once you know you can process it, but whists there is still hope it's agony. Well done for being so strong through the unknown and I wish you all the best for tomorrow. xxx

@Justawannabemam @StillTrying10000 @BlueSilver23 thank you ladies. Todays going to be a Bitch :( bleeding has basically stopped, and lines are still very positive. But I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms throughout, which I know isn't good. Will just be glad once today is over. Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words x

Tbh I they were never that dark. But i was told a line is a line . The clear blue digital came up with 1 -2 weeks when really it should have been 2-3 .

How’s my test day buddies @Alexm06 & @2021babyhope doing?
This period of waiting is such a rollercoaster ride isn’t it, from feeling hopeful & fearful & every other emotion in between!
It will be a miracle if mine works as I had another jolt this morning when I absentmindedly kicked a heavy gate open which was stiff, in doing so I hurt my abdomen & shortly afterwards noticed some spotting (brown colour). Still hoping for a miracle!

I’m curious to know whether people are taking only a prenatal or a mix of vitamins?
