FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

That's all you can do, that's my current approach too, have you tried mindful IVF app? It's really good, I find it takes the edge off even a bad day x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988yes some is better than none but it's still stressful to be on a different protocol than vast majority are!

@Twinmummy15 it has meditation for first trimester, anxiety, sleep all sorts it's really helpful x

How is everyone sorry I haven’t been here for a long time as I haven’t been in a mood , as I started my cycle again after failed FET , as you can all probably understand it’s very hard on mental health xx I have my trasfer next week and getting exited again !! baby dust to you all lovely girls

Hello @ShareLove nice to see your all ready to go again ☺️ Fingers crossed this is your time now 🤞🏻 I myself am currently taking my progynova in preparation ready for my second FET this month. I have my scan on Tuesday to see how my lining is growing and hopefully transfer I think the 14th. How are you feeling this time round?? With this being my third transfer I’m struggling to find hope after having 2 failed already.. it’s such a hard journey for us women. Praying for a miracle 🙏🏻🤞🏻 Xxxx

Yes I’m finding this cycle very negative thinking it won’t work as you remember , my first ever FET I had 5 embryos in the freezer and 2 were bad quality after thaw and one didn’t survive so I used up 3 embryos in one day , I have 2 left so praying that they all won’t be a bad batch of embryos all together . Just to add , they were great quality before freezing so who knows
So I’m praying that at least 1 of the 2 will survive thaw . I could end up transferring one bad quality embryo or maybe nothing at all .

But other than that I feel positive as my lining scan was yesterday and was great at 9mm .
Just 6 days to go for me now
Can I ask how many embryos do you have in the freezer and what was the quality do you remember ?
Mine are 3BB x 2.
And I understand totally how you feel , it’s so heartbreaking when it doesn’t work
All the medicines for nothing ! Torturing our body for nothing .
But let’s be positive and hopefully we will both get good results ! And your only like a week behind me wow my trasfer is 9th and yours is 14 th

@ShareLove sorry only now replying, been busy with with work. I remember I was quite similar to you as my best quality out of the 5 didn’t thaw right neither which was very heartbreaking and disappointing, so we went through 2 In the one day.. We have 3 left, I’m not sure the quality of them all but I know one is top and 2 are average, so dreading the thawing stage again 😩 you just don’t know what can happen.
Oh wow your lining was lovely and thick, I’ve got my first scan Tuesday to check mine 😊
I’m trying to keep positive, Relaxed and stress free… and hopefully it will be this time for us 🙏🏻 How are you feeling not long now until Wednesday ✨ Xxx

I just got a call that my first embryo has thawed successfully ! So my trasfer is at 11:30 :)
I will find out about the grade ect once I get there xx I was 2BB before frozen so we will see xxx

@Ivfjourney2 also how did your scan go yesterday for lining ! Xxxx

I'm fine thank you and pregnancy is going well (ish). I had heavy bleeding a few weeks ago. Turned out to be an internal bleed and baby was ok thank god. I'm coming up to 9 weeks.
Even after a positive pregnancy test the anxiousness doesn't ever seem to get any easier.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you and keep us updated after your transfer x

As for my scan yesterday, it went well thankyou.. my lining was 7.9 so I’m all really and booked in for Tuesday afternoon 😬 I begin my progesterone tomorrow 2 x lubion and 1 x cyclogest, so all fo from here now. Xxxxx

How exiting for you ! I bet you can’t wait now :) it’s soo hard to wait for trasfer , I couldn’t sleep the last 2 days thinking about my transfer and stressing if any of my embryos will survive , but I am glad my embryo survived nicely all that stress for nothing for me .
I forgot , how many embryos have you got on ice ?
I’ll be praying for you for things to go well !

@ShareLove i am excited but I am also feeling tired of it all too, hoping I start to feel more positive now after the weekend 😊 I have my last shift in work tomorrow which is definitely going to help as my job is quite draining on times, so I need a few days to myself before my transfer. Il be off until April then 😁 I the same will be stressing about the thawing stage as the last time we lost one during that stage.. I have 3 left, one is a 5BB and the other 2 are average CC’s not sure on exact grading. Will definitely keep you updated on how things go though 🥰
You just need to sit back, try and take your mind off things now while your little embryo gets all snuggled up inside 😌
Can I ask what progesterone are you taking?? I begin all mine tomorrow. I’ve had a headache all day today which I’m putting down to the meds as I increased my progynova to 4 a day as of yesterday, I’m also feeling very tired so tomorrow can not come quick enough, in need of time out from work 😅 xxxx

I am on utrogestan progesterone pessaries 600mg at night at the same time , and from yesterday after transfer I added 1x lubion progesterone injection too xxx
Oh my Iv been feeling soo tired with all these ivf medicines , My body is pumped up with so many drugs . I have also had headaches A lot , and tiredness is the biggest side affect for me xx
I am

Progesterone injection
Oestrogen tablets
Estrogen patches
Aspirin
Fragmin blood thinners
So many things
The reason why I’m on blood thinners is because of recurrent misscarrige history xx

Tiredness has definitely hit with me, im constantly tired too, I’m on 2 x lubion injections 1 morning 1 night and then a 200mg progesterone pessaries at 3pm. I’ve had an emotional weekend, all the little things getting to me 😤 my teenage son is driving me up the wall 🤯😂 I could murder a bottle of wine 😬 it’s so tuff on times isn’t it.
