Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@Twinmummy15 forgot to mention, I'm in the same boat cycle wise. If my period comes Dec 31st or later, I will just slip in for January cycle as the earliest they can do a baseline scan after new years is January 4th. If it comes earlier, there's nothing I can do, as I can't just stim without them seeing what's going on to figure out when to start the antagonist. Fingers crossed we can be on the same timeline again, maybe someone will start an IVF January/February thread for everyone who is starting as soon as they can in new year? But for me it will be a new collection round next, then back to FET if get any viable embryos. I have a frozen 3AC but I don't trust it one bit, going to let it sit there and try to get more, my priority is to get more embryos made and hopefully get one without a C in it this time.

Agapanthus13 · 06/12/2021 17:29

Hi @lauradxoxo I’m doing ok, thank you for asking. I have my first lining scan this week so hoping to have a better idea of how things are going then. Just absolutely shattered the last fees day which is unlike me, assuming it’s the meds as I’ve been super careful to keep away from all the bugs going round. How are you feeling? Is it this week you’re due for your transfer- do you know which day yet? Xx

CharlieBalf · 06/12/2021 17:55

Evening everyone, such a lot has happened in the past two days for you all. Chemical positives are the hardest, im so sorry for those of you who have gone through them.

I have a lining scan on Thursday and im feeling really billious and bloated all the time- is that normal? Maybe the meds are doing their job and making me all thick? Lol.

lauradxoxo · 06/12/2021 17:55

@Agapanthus13 I’ve felt shattered too on the meds so it’s probably that! Good luck for your first scan hopefully all goes well!

Yeah transfer is Friday thought it would be Thursday but they said Friday just desperate for Friday to come even tho I hate the 2WW! Defo the worst part!

@Twinmummy15 I am so sorry your having such a rough time the whole process is really heartbreaking. I hope you have lots of support and we are all here if you need us xxxxx

tulipsandsnow · 06/12/2021 17:59

Nevermind, see that there is already an IVF/FET Jan/Feb thread! Maybe I will see some of you guys over there? I just made an intro post but than am going to probably stay quiet for a while, as right now I'm just too much of a miseryguts, and many people on that thread are doing their first cycle and full of hope/questions, don't need my dark storm cloud energy!

Twinmummy15 · 06/12/2021 19:32

@lauradxoxo thank you. I have my husbands support. He is really trying bless him. We decided not to tell anyone this time round so it's just between us.

@tulipsandsnow my gosh must be so difficult knowing that it was a genetically normal embryo too. My clinic don't seem to test the embryos. I wish they did.
I'll join you in the Jan cycle thread.

XjustagirlX · 07/12/2021 10:45

I’ve just got back from my lining scan. It’s just not growing. It hasn’t grown at all since last Friday. It is only 5.5mm. I’m on the highest dose of tablets. I’m waiting for a call today to see if they will add in patches.

I’m thinking it will get cancelled now as they shut over Christmas. Also my mind is going to the worst outcome…my thin lining is the reason I keep miscarrying and I will need a surrogate who will then run off with the baby because she is legally the mother.

lauradxoxo · 07/12/2021 12:40

@Twinmummy15 awww I totally get that, we decided not to tell anyone this round either it’s just a lot to have to deal with all the questions and horrible to have to tell people if it doesn’t work. Take time to look after yourself and when the time is right start again ❤️

Same to yourself @tulipsandsnow I know you heartbroken you will be it really is awful when you find out it doesn’t work. Take the time you need to grieve and I’m sure your time has still to come ❤️

@XjustagirlX I am really sorry to hear your lining has thickened up how they would like. Did they give you any indication as to why it may not the thickening? Have you had this experience before? Really hoping your cycle doesn’t get cancelled. Will have everything crossed for you xxxx

Is anyone on here on lubion injections? I’m finding them quite sore anyone else? Not administering them juat afterwards the injection site is always quite sore for ages afterwards xxx

CharlieBalf · 07/12/2021 14:20

@lauradxoxo Ive had lubion before- inused to get huge bruises from the injection site. Try not to push too fast! I found if i injected slowly it hurt less. Also make sure you're not using the same spot and avoid stretch marks or broken skin.

@XjustagirlX you might still have time; i habe my first lining app on Thursday and thaya with built in time if i need another. My clinic also closes for Christmas the last transfer date for us is the 22nd.

Did anyone else get mild cramps and a bloated feeling when on the lining meds?

ShareLove · 07/12/2021 15:23

@lauradxoxo hey I was on lubion injections and yes it is quite sore afterwoods but you have to inject slowly . I never had any bruising from it but only one time when I injected in the vein by accident or went through a vain with a needle . Now I stretch my skin before injecting because I can then see where the veins are Grin so it doesn’t happen anymore .

ShareLove · 07/12/2021 15:26

This thread has been quite unlucky for Neally all of us isn’t it , many of us have had negatives and some chemical pregnancy losses and lining issues . Sad
I’m waiting for my review at the clinic so I can see what my next plans are , I hope it’s January cycle Smile

lauradxoxo · 07/12/2021 15:33

thank you I have been injecting slowly I’ve not had any bruising just a little sore afterwards!

@CharlieBalf I feel like I’ve had mild cramping throughout all the meds!! So your defo not alone there!

I know let’s hope we get some more positive outcomes @ShareLove have you tested again today? Xxx

@FET2021 how are you getting on have you tested again? Xxx

Agapanthus13 · 07/12/2021 17:28

@CharlieBalf I’ve had some cramping which I think may be from the meds too. The first couple of days of my cycle were particularly bad but seems to be settling down a little. Not had any bloating feeling though. Hope you’re doing ok, I know the side effects are not very pleasant 😕

@lauradxoxo I’ve been having a bit of a reaction to my jabs too, I’m taking fyremadel injection. Have found the needle part fine but the solution causes a stinging / burning and my skin goes red and bumpy. I took antihistamine the first couple of days but have since found cooling my skin with a disinfectant wipe after and keeping my clothes away from the area for a good 30mins after really helps. Do you take your jabs up to transfer day? Not long to go now- I bet you’re excited for Friday x

Agapanthus13 · 07/12/2021 17:33

@XjustagirlX sorry to hear you’re struggling with your lining thickness. Have you heard back from the nurses yet about patches? You’ve still plenty of time before Xmas closures so try not to stress xx I’m only a few days into my meds and the nurses said we’ve time for a few lining scans & to change up the meds etc in time for an Xmas transfer. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you x

XjustagirlX · 07/12/2021 19:18

@Agapanthus13 they said they don’t give me any patches. They also won’t up my meds because I’m already on 12mg oestrogen a day. They have said that if my lining isn’t high enough on Friday then it will be cancelled because they said it can be dangerous to give too much estrogen.

ShareLove · 07/12/2021 20:45

@lauradxoxo hey yes iv tested and still negative I already stopped my medications 2 days ago but my official day is tomorrow I knew it didn’t work so I didn’t bother taking my meds for the couple of days extra .
Tomorrow I’m doing my clinic test and I’ll ring them with result , I am now waiting for my period to start so I can clear my body out :) so nice not taking medicine , I feel like myself again !

Lilipa · 07/12/2021 21:38

Hi everyone! I had a scan and blood tests (estradiol and progesterone) on day 10 of my cycle. I have the green light from my clinic to proceed with FET of a blastocyst this Friday.
We had a FET 2 months ago but unfortunately it did not become a pregnancy. Fingers crossed it's going to work this time!
Anyone else having a blastocyst FET this week?
I'm also worried about this COVID test, which I'm taking tomorrow evening. Hope result comes back negative.

Novavee · 07/12/2021 21:57

@FET2021 @Twinmummy15 thanks for checking in and sorry it's not the best of news for you both. How are you holding up? I hope you take the time to take care of yourselves and try again when it feels right.

I am ok, just waiting (im)patiently for my scan next week.

@Bb30 @ExhaustedPigeon1988 congratulations! I am very happy for you both. xx

Alexm06 · 08/12/2021 08:09

@Lilipa I am transferring today! So only a few days ahead. I've had 2 previous FET one didn't work and one was chemical so hopefully this one will work. The only difference with this one is my lining was ready on CD 10 which it never has been and I've been on steroids this time too. Hopefully
Will help!

coffee1988 · 08/12/2021 09:48

Good luck @Alexm06! Mine is booked in for
Tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be joining you. All being well with the bloods I just had to do that is 🤞

Likewise @Lilipa! Looks like there will be a few of us in the tww together

What are you guys transferring? 1 or 2? Day 5s? I’m hoping to transfer 1 x 4aa blast but a bit worried about that thaw process as I gather it can bugger the quality. The lab said survival rate was 95% so fingers crossed it’ll be ok.

@XjustagirlX don’t give up hope. My lining was super slow and it suddenly jumped from 6.4 to 8.6 in 4 days. I was really surprised.

Alexm06 · 08/12/2021 10:08

@coffee1988 that's amazing! I know you were struggle with your lining so I'm glad it finally got there!. I'm just about to have my acupuncture session haha. I'm transferring the last of my frozen which is a 4AB. The other 5 were 4AA and only got 1 chemical from them so I'm trying to be a bit positive but it's hard and I lost one in defrost so I'm a bag of nerves hoping I don't get a phone call from them.

lauradxoxo · 08/12/2021 10:09

Ahhhh good luck for your transfer today @Alexm06 how many are you transferring?

@Lilipa I am also transferring Friday! One day 5 blast just praying it survives the thaw!!

@coffee1988 aww your tommorow yes few of us in the tww together then!! I really that that’s part! Xxxz

Alexm06 · 08/12/2021 10:35

@lauradxoxo oh yes seems a few of us will be in it together! I only have the one left so just one 4AB will be put in if it survives defrost. I've already lost one to defrost so trying to remain hopeful x

lauradxoxo · 08/12/2021 11:02

@Alexm06 aww a 4AB is amazing so fingers crossed it survives the thaw! Let us know! Il be keeping everything crossed for you!! Xxxxx

hls1984 · 08/12/2021 13:30

First time posting - I had a FET on the 26th November. I stupidly tested on 5dp5dt and 6dp5dt and both negative.

I haven't tested again and my otd is tomorrow (13dp5dt) and I am terrified to test to the point I don't think I can.

I have had sore boobs and mild twinges the whole time but I think this is the side effects of the oestrogen and progesterone.

Has anyone else gone on to have a bfp after bfn at 6dp5dt?

Everyone going through this is an absolute warrior.
