FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@Twinmummy15 Im so sorry. It’s so rubbish. What do you have to do now? Can you try again soon?

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 thank you. I've been crying non stop. I can't see this working. Our 2 strong embryos didn't stick. 2 failed transfers. I'm so fed up!

@XjustagirlX will try again in January cycle. Although I not got much hope of anything right now.

@Twinmummy15 I’m so sorry. Do whatever works for you, and if skipping xmas is it then do it.

@Twinmummy15 I get that completely, although the average is 2-3 transfers, apparently many people need upto 9.... I just don't think I am strong enough with that much heartache! When you say 2 embryos was that 1 each time, or 2 each time? X

Wow up to 9 transfers. No way I am strong enough for that.

@Twinmummy15 I'm so so sorry to hear this. I really hope you're being looked after?? So devastating but it's not the end. Can you look to the next step? And get yourself a huge glass of wine and run a hot bath?

@XjustagirlX I know how you feel but don't worry! It can suddenly jump. My scans were as follows:

cd 2 - 3.something (6mg a day)
cd8 - 5.8 (upped to 8mg a day)
cd15 - 6.4 (upped to 10mg a day) - I was super worried at this point.
Today cd 19 - 8.6mm

In between cd8-15 I added in the following, NO idea if anything helped. Could have been chance but here you go:

• beetroot juice (fresh)
• l'arginine (lots of studies show it helps with lining issues)
• vit e (lots of studies show it helps with lining issues)
• acupuncture (don't really believe in it but why not)
• lots of protein / red meat / spinach
• reflexology (basically a foot massage but I thought what the hell)

@coffee1988 that's amazing! I did a lot of those things you said for my lining this month as I wanted to put all into it so yeah I had acupuncture my 6th one will be day of transfer hopefully
drank 2 glasses of pomegranate juices a day
5000mg of l-arginine a day which I started CD1 And vitamin E not sure what helped this time but something worked it's magic! I wasn't to keen on the acupuncture as I didn't think it was doing anything but it must have been haha

@Twinmummy15 omg I’m sooooo sorry I know how you feel !!!! I feel the same as I’m also negative but blood test is actually in 6 days but it’s game over for me . I feel your pain I really do , I wish there was no Christmas so we can start again straight away !!!

@coffee1988 thanks. What’s frustrating is I have been taking larginine 6mg and 800iu vitamin e for about 6 weeks and I’ve been having acupuncture sessions for over a year.

I’m going to tell my husband he must give me a foot massage every night haha.

I have had 4mg CD1-5, 8mg CD6-9, and now I’m on 12mg estrogen. I’m really hoping it jumps up by Tuesday.

Had third failed fet this month. Bit broken. Came on to offer handhold and to say I had a good consult with dr Geoffrey Sher in the USA. He’s been in repro medicine for 35 years and has lots of interesting articles about recurrent loss, implantation failure, egg quality, stims etc. I’m off to do some tests as he recommended and then coming back to discuss with him, hoping for some answers before any more transfers. He says he can work out what’s needed and then I can either tell my clinic what they need to do or send the embryos over to the states and do a transfer with him. It’s so heartbreaking isn’t it :(

@Angliski I'm so sorry you have to deal with this, but sounds like you have been proactive and have a really good plan in place! Time to enjoy Christmas- eat and drink far too much. Then straight back at it... wishing you the best of luck x

Thanks everyone for helping me with my wobble yesterday... turns out the disgusting migraine was a good thing.... BFP this morning :) so so happy.... doesn't feel real. Was a clear blue digital, so no line to look at- more tests arriving in the post, but am going to try enjoy it for a few days before doing any more :)

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 Congratulations! OTD or did you test early?

I hate the 2ww. I’ve had some spotting this morning, 2dp5dt. Realistically I know it’s probably from the transfer as I bled a bit after it, and I’m on aspirin and clexane, but you always panic/hope…I had implantation spotting with my previous positive but not until 6dp5dt.

Hi everyone, its still a few days until my lining scan so not juch to add.

Thanks @coffee1988 for thr tips on improving lining ill be eating all the steak and drink all the juice between now and next Thursday!

I had a dream last night i had a really strong bfp... Hoping its a premonition not wishful thinking 🙄 Haven't even had rhe transfer yet

Im on 6mg at the moment but dont have a scan ooked until day 11... Feel thr clinic is leaving it a bit late to make amendments if its not thixk enough. I dont know if i can handle a December 23rd transfer.

Any more tips out there for sticky embryos?

@XjustagirlX have my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully your lining will be thick enough at next scan. It's so worrying when it doesn't go to plan, but there's so many that need extra time for their lining to thicken, so just hang in there xx

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm ok thank you. I had all negatives up until today. I'm 11dp5dt and had the faintest positive. Literally barely there, but it definitely is. Don't know if it's too late to be good news now either?? X

@fet2021 congratulations on your bfp! I wouldn't worry at all about it being too late... Usually the OTD is around 14 days? Anything before that is considered an early positive so relax 🙂

I'm testing tomorrow at 11dp5dt and I'm petrified. My cramping got a bit worse in recent days and my boobs are no longer sore so I feel like that's a bad sign. I'm just all over the place now today so it'll be good to get a result tomorrow one way or another. My otd isn't until Tuesday but I don't want to test before work in case it's bad news. 😞
