October FET- Cycle buddies?

I started my stims on Wednesday as the beginning of my long protocol for my FET.

I am looking at end of October for my transfer 🤞🏻

I have PCOS and had ISCI for our treatment.
We have 4 blastocysts frozen!

Looking for any cycle buddies that are transferring around the same time 🙏

I have been a bit quiet recently as I made the stupid mistake of letting the "symptoms" run away from me and tested early. It was of course, a BFN for the past 3 days. I am now 6DP6DT, so I still have time! I feel awful today though, headache, sharp twinges in the left lower uterus (practically groin) that have been on/off all morning, feeling dizzy and tired. The fatigue is kicking my backside this time!

So I am well and truly feeling a bit sorry for myself as I am already worried about the final outcome.

How everyone else is getting on okay?!

@IVFhadenough hopefully those niggly pains your having are a good sign. I am 3dp5dt and I haven't noticed anything so far apart from the odd niggle and my boobs feeling full.. last time I was pregnant before my MC.. my boobs went rock solid so I feel like I'm waiting for that to happen and will be disappointed if it doesn't 😩

@J2020m thank you! I hope so too! I was doing so well with the symptoms, then I tested negative and felt that they all went away again. I do think this whole TWW is mostly head games! I am noticing so much with regards to change today but I don't believe any of it and I am trying to ignore it to not cause the heartbreak.

My boobs were feeling full 2-4DPT, but they have settled down a bit now although still painful on movement. I really hope that you get your BFP! It's so hard when you have had success before, as you just compare everything to "last time", but every pregnancy is different I guess! Try to not worry too much about your boobs! Fingers crossed for you lovely!

@IVFhadenough have you had a day 6 embryo transfer too I’m 2dp6dt. I don’t have any sore boobs just had stomach cramp yesturday morning. What grade was your embryo?

@Sweet211 hey! Yes, I did indeed! My last 6 day embryo was a success, so I have high hopes haha! My embryo was a 4AB, the embryologist said it was a great looking embryo and was close to being fully expanded, if not was already there. So I am hoping my crappy feelings today are about right for the timeline! What about yours?

@IVFhadenough my embryo was 5bb that was before they thawed It. Im going through anxiety as I had a failed transfer in feb and this was my last embryo I want my lo to have a sibling. What have you been up to? Are we allowed to go for a walk I’ve not been doing any hoovering ect and cleaning. I’ve stopped drinking tea because of the caffeine. I started the pregnacare vitamins and the vitamin d just been eating Brazil nuts. Ive no symptoms.

@Sweet211 Fingers crossed for you! My last transfer was a fail too, so I am on my third transfer hoping to that third time is the charm!
I have been carrying on as normal but been restricting myself with anything really heavy through paranoia that I would mess it up!

Lots of women have no symptoms at 2PDT, so don't worry! I truly believe that all of mine are because I'm hyperaware, a google addict and have that kind of personality. Nothing will really tell me what's what until OTD. I will google everything and ask lots of questions though in the meantime haha

@IVFhadenough omg I’ve been asking google too. What embryo grades were your previous ones? I’ve been through all sorts like ohss ect over the years. My fresh transfer back In 2014 resulted in miscarrying at nearly 20 weeks. Then I’ve had chemical pregnancies few failed ones.

@J2020m this is my first transfer. I’m kicking myself for being so optimistic. I had a good lining and the embryo was 5AA. Can’t help but feel as though I should have done things differently.

I'm so sorry @53rds your embryo was better than mine so it just shows it is just the luck of the draw isn't it. I'm so sorry it hasn't been your time this cycle. Do you get another free round?

@J2020m yes, we get three funded rounds thankfully. We’ll try again once we’ve taken some time to get through this loss

@53rds I am on my third transfer, you find the inner strength to keep going. Take as long as you need, your next embryos will be nice and comfy until you are ready.

@Sweet211my previous embryos were 5BB (D6) and 2BB (D5). My first round ended up with a pregnancy which unfortunately miscarried at around 6.5 weeks and then my second transfer was a failed transfer as the embryo failed to implant.

I am still hoping to get my rainbow baby and my LO as I don't have any children yet.

I am sorry for your MC, I can't even begin to imagine how difficult that must have been!

@IVFhadenough I’m hoping it all works out for you Best not to test early have you had any symptoms? With my LO I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms until like when I was nearly 12 weeks. I keep asking google silly questions asking if the 5bb embryo will stick. 🤞 for you sending baby dust. Im so glad this thread is active I don’t know what i would do without you ladies so strong as Rock.

Did any of you had your progesterone checked before transfer? I had a blood test today and my levels are really high which according to Google can decrease chances of implantation.

@Azahar8 my progesterone was checked day of transfer - and the level was over 100! Really high! I got my BFP so I wouldn’t worry too much about it being high - more an issue if it’s v low! What was your result?

@Azahar8 no they didn’t check my progesterone it’s good that is high better than low. They prob tell you to take low dose of progesterone. Please don’t ask google anything it’ll drive you crazy.

@LemonyT thanks for the reassurance, my level is 332 nmol/L, which is around 104 ng/mL I think - do you remember what units your clinic used? My transfer is scheduled for Thursday and they will call me if something is not right with my results but the waiting is driving me crazy. How are you feeling? When is your scan?

@Sweet211 thanks, if not all clinics test routinely for this then it can't be that important. I'll try to stay away from Google... When are you planning to test?

@Azahar8 yes mine was in ng/ml - so about the same as you. I was told to do progesterone pessaries 3x a day as well as lubion this round to make sure it was nice and high, as last round (my ectopic) I had a blood test after my bfp and my progesterone had dropped significantly.
