@Vparisi completely understandable because you don't want to get your hopes up etc. it does sound like it'll still be going ahead today if you haven't heard, hopefully there's still two for you to give you the best chance. I always found it weird that they don't call you with an update the afternoon before/morning of transfer so you're not surprised when you get there but yeah, communication certainly isn't their strong point is it?
Hope the transfer goes well, it was a really friendly & positive experience when I had mine. The doctors & nurses were really laughing & joking which helped ease my nerves.
It's crazy isn't it? I can't believe how quick it's gone either. Not got my 12 week scan until a week on Wednesday annoyingly but will be able to tell more people after (all being well) so that will be nice.

@etonmess20 thanks for your good thoughts. Had 1 in this morning which was v quick and they are leaving the 3rd til day 5 so will call me Wednesday. Test day is Saturday 6th which feels forever away. Went and got fries after then have been relaxing all day and looking at my little picture! It was totally empty in there - actually I am surprised they scheduled me for Sunday at all. Now just fingers crossed I guess.

How annoying your 12 week scan is still 9 days away but will feel SO good! When is due date??

@Vparisi congratulations on being PUPO!! The whole transfer process is very quick & underwhelming isn't it? You expect some kind of fanfare but there's literally nothing is there 😂
Sounds good that the third one is still going strong - I didn't actually know they could refreeze but they must be able to!
Glad the rest of your day has been relaxing, make sure you take care of yourself between now & 6th, I literally did absolllutely nothing!!

I am excited actually but feel more nervous, I'll be glad when it's ticked off I think & we've got the all clear. I'm due 13th May which is actually a Friday 13th 😂😂😂 hoping that's not a sign that they're going to be a naughty child!!

@Etonmess20 yes exactly, you're like holy sh** I just had an embryo put inside me but it is so underwhelming! Have not got up yet as I have been extremely tight and cramping hard. Not sure if it is a good or bad thing..

@Vparisi did you find the wee you had afterwards the most satisfying thing ever? I was SO desperate to go while I was waiting for them to stop faffing & do the transfer, the Dr said I could go a bit if I was too uncomfortable but that he had the perfect view with how full I was so I didn't want to spoil it!
I definitely had cramping throughout so I wouldn't take it as a bad sign. It was also noted on my 7 week scans that my ovaries were still enlarged from the ivf but they'd gone down by last weekend so it may well be yours are still a bit swollen too which won't be helping I bet.
Hope DP is taking really good care of you! I'm thinking nothing but sticky thoughts for you both!

@HereToLearnAndShare oh sorry what a derr brain!! Just read back & it says you had scan on Tuesday rather than transfer on Tuesday!

@Etonmess20 yep completely, I wanted to go so bad I forgot to ask for the gradings which I am annoyed about. Maybe will email and see if I get a response. Yeah I imagine that is the same with me with the ovaries thing, my cramping is pretty bad. Would love to be on the sofa but we are mandated 4 days a week in office now ugh. Trying not to obsess over how the implantation is going but obsessing like 24/7. Such a rough period! Thank you xx

@Vparisi maybe ask when they call you to let you know about the other little one, I found they were always friendly & happy to answer questions!
As difficult as it is to not worry I would definitely try not to obsess,saying that I remember I had a mini breakdown multiple times, it's just such a difficult time isn't it! I found it helped me to cope talking to them, we called him 3ab (his grade) & I used to encourage him when I had a spare minute on my own 😂😂😂 I appreciate I sound mental writing that down but whatever helps you through!!
4 days a week in the office is sooooo rough, we still haven't been back at all & no plans for us to go in regularly at the moment x

Thanks @Etonmess20 you don't sound mental at all, it is an extremely bizarre process and any way to cope is good. You are soo lucky about the office!! I am jealous. Unfortunately my third one didn't make it to day 5. I am at work and just got the call and trying not to cry at my desk. She said they basically had no hope for it anyway because it was 3 cells on Sunday and it should be 8 and I was like wtf why would you not have said this on Sunday so I wasn't sitting here expecting it to be good, I am totally shocked as that was never the message I got. So all hopes pinned on this little one inside. Cramping like crazy which is hopefully a good sign, I don't know xx

@Vparisi oh no that's terrible news, I'm so sorry 😢 maybe go to the toilet & have a cry or go for a walk & get some fresh air. Don't sit there feeling like that if you can take a break.
I really am surprised that they didn't manage your expectations if it was that far behind on Sunday - least then, like you say, you probably wouldn't be quite so disappointed right now as it would have been a bit more expected.
Crossing my fingers & toes extra tight for the little one you've got on board 🙏🏼 cramping was a good sign for me so hopefully it is for you!!

Thank you ladies for thinking about me! The transfer went well - a 4AB it's in now. I still can't believe it and I am trying not to get too excited! Test day is next Sun 7th (I am glad is 10/days not 14) ☺

@Vparisi that's awful they have done that, getting your hopes up. I have my toes snd fingers crossed for the ones you have inside to stick, I had cramping throughout and for me it's been nothing but positive. So fingers crossed that's the case for you 😘

@HereToLearnAndShare glad the transfer went well, 4AB amazing quality, that was the same as mine. Hope your resting up now, I have my toes and fingers crossed for you too 😘

Correction I had 5AB but everyone has told me it does not matter how good the embryo is, just need our bodies to accept. My friends baby is due snd she had a 3BB transferred.

But your embryo is of a very good quality and I am sending you all my positive vibes 😘 xx

I was a bit surprised it was 4AB as during the freezing process they told me a had some 5BB, but perhaps the AB is better even that is a day behind. As you said the most important is for the body to accept it, so I don't worry too much about the quality. And 4AB is still a very good one and hopefully it will stick 🙏

@Sarah2328 thank you. I feel nothing different yet, my breasts are tender but they were before the transfer too(guess from the meds).
Are you taking any vitamins? I read somewhere that Vit D and C are good for early pregnancy but the nurses didn't mention it, so I don't know

Boobs have been sore ever since I started. Not every one gets symptoms so don't look into that too much. Just make sure you rest up. Yes I take a multi Vitamin tablet which has folic acid, vitamin D and iron. I recommend taking this as it helps with the pregnancy etc. You can get them from boots/Superdrug's etc xx

So this is probably a dumb question all but I noticed my period is due tomorrow. Do the oestrogen and pessaries stop your period or if I don't get it is that a good sign?
