@jusstjaee mine was done before the appointment because I knew my private clinic expected immunity, so I had started the process and then we got nhs funding.

I wonder how much notice you get before you start treatment. I’m worried I’ll end up with a longer wait than they said because of my stupid cycles, they’re currently right at the end of the month.

@thislittlebird I agree would be good to know how much notice we get. Mine will probably be the same depending on when they make contact!

@morganablue yes, I will be starting 8 mg Oesstradiol 🙂 hope all goes with our frosties 🤞🙏🥰

Hey ladies, hope you are all doing well!! Took a break from here but have been thinking of you all. Was meant to start my FET meds on Wednesday and set up an appt for 7 October but my period never came unfortunately so sitting here patiently waiting. Pretty annoying as I got a full period a few days after EC last time and I am never late. Does anyone know if it is normal to skip the next one?

@Etonmess20 how is it going?? How was your trip and how are you feeling? Many symptoms? Have you had a scan?

@HereToLearnAndShare have you started your medication yet? When is your scan booked in for?

@Sarah2328 so glad to hear you started!! That is super exciting. Definitely don't worry about numbers - I had tons and got virtually nothing, it is about quality not quantity. Hope you are feeling okay and not too bloated and in pain.

@Vparisi so lovely to hear from you, hope you're well & feel better for a break! How annoying about AF not making an appearance yet, I swear she does this stuff on purpose!!! Is there anything Guys can give you to bring it on?

I'm all good thank you, can't complain. My symptoms mainly seem to be extreme tiredness, extreme hunger & dry/sensitive skin 😂 I occasionally feel a bit sick but only a couple of times a day & mainly when I'm hungry so been really lucky so far. I'm 7+3 now & have a scan with Guys at 1.30 today. I did have a private scan on Saturday morning after I went into a spin due to an (admittedly tiny) amount of brown discharge on Friday evening. That scan went really well & we saw the heartbeat & our dates were perfect so hoping to enjoy the scan today & get some more good pictures 🙏🏼

@morganablue I am hoping to start the meds in the next few days and the FET is planned for the week come cing 18th Oct. So I am about 2 weeks behind you, but yes we have a few FET coming this month in the group! Its a great feeling to have fellows to share with and for support! I am excited for all of us and hopefully we will all get pregnant very soon 🙏🥰

@Vparisi welcome back! I am also concerned my AF could be late, my scan is bioked for 12.10.
What did they say about the situation, I assume you need to let them now as soon as it comes and they will rebook the scan?

@Vparisi excited you are having a FET too this month!

They told me to email on first day of period, to ensure scan was on right day ( 2 weeks later). Generally as soon as you start period, you take your 8mg (I have 4 pills) and they book you in for scan, I think they quite flexible. I emailed them on 17th telling I started meds and got my period, and they quickly made my scan on 1/10.

Sending you alllll of the preggy vibes ✨✨ I’m ok, the sickness has been grim the last few weeks (threw up in front of a huge traffic queue today 🙈) but I’ll take it for bubba! I am 12 weeks 1 day today. We have a scan booked for tonight so we can tell people because our NHS ‘12 week’ one isn’t until I’m 14 weeks 🙄.

I think my period was delayed and they were going to give me some progesterone to induce it but it came on it’s own in the end. AF loves to come when we don’t want her and not when we do!

@GJW2018 thank you!! Has your sickness been bad all the way through? I'm kind of hoping I'm going to bypass it as I still have barely had anything & im 8 weeks on Friday, feel like if I was going to be really bad it would have started by now 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Etonmess20 scan was lovely and is so nice to be able to tell people. We kept the whole IVF a secret so it’s nice to finally share! I think it’s started around 7/8 weeks but was more food aversion the thought/sight/smell/mention of any food made me heave so I’ve lost a stone and a half, just wasn’t eating. Then it got better then worse then better. Felt good last week and was eating again then from the weekend has come back full force. You think you’re safe then it rears it’s head! Well that’s my experience you might be one of the lucky ones 🤞🏻

@GJW2018 ahhh I'm glad it was good & everything was fine! Bet you're so excited to tell people ☺️ oh gosh there's still a chance I won't be fine then, I'll await that joy if it comes 😂

Hey ladies, hope all is well,

Just an update, so I had my egg retrieval yesterday and they got 12 eggs, this morning got a call that 10 had fertilised, and 8 were good for transfer.

I am back in Sunday morning for the transfer. How long did you lovely ladies wait for the transfer after egg retrieval?

@Sarah2328 awww that's amazing! I had a 5 day transfer with my cycle as I did a fresh cycle too! I was really unprepared for how scientific the transfer was 😂 you go back into a room round the back (similar to where you went for EC) & they scan you on your tummy whilst they insert the catheter with the embryo on (there was like 4 people in the room but the atmosphere was really positive & lovely). I had to wear a lab coat, hair net & the shoe protectors again 😂 it was also over very quickly (literally 5 minutes). Don't want you to get caught off guard as I didn't know what to expect!

@Sarah2328 she gave me the lab coat & I was like errrrrm ok 😂 ironically it was the quickest, easiest & most painless part of the whole process! They then give you 2 pregnancy tests & a letter telling you your test day (will be 11dp5dt) & what you need to do.
