@Etonmess20 omg that is just so exciting, I am soo happy for you! Sorry about the symptoms, sounds rough but all worth it! Have you told anyone yet? You both must just be over the moon.

We've only told close friends that already knew about the IVF & my mum (as we had to go to hers to look after her horses as she had to go away for the night). We're telling DPs close family this weekend as we see a lot of them & don't want to have to keep hiding it. We've had a bit of a rough time with some family problems lately too so think his close side need some good news

Hi y'all gorgeous bunch!

So, scan today, I am good to go for ET next Friday, meanwhile, keep my 8mg of Progynova and starting Cyclogest on Sunday too.
Fingers crossed for this one, worst quality than the first embryo we had back in July, but you never know!

Does anyone know if you get any further calls from the clinic to let you know how the eggs are doing etc. I had the call the following day from egg collection and was told how many fertilised but that’s it. Is that normal? I’m aware only 30-50% make it to blastocyst stage xx

@morganablue do you know what grade you're transferring? Ours was a 3ab so not what would be considered "the best" So there's always hope x

@Sarah2328 I'm pretty sure we didn't actually hear anything until I went in for transfer & they then told me about the others too. There was a few they still had their eye on so I got a call the next day too.
At this point I resigned myself to no news being good news because it means you at least have one to transfer (or else they'd have cancelled your transfer!)
Got everything crossed for a some lovely ones to transfer & freeze x

@Sarah2328 I'm sure you will! Our transfer was a 3ab so not considered one of the top top grades but still had a good outcome

@Sarah2328 I was super uncomfortable after EC for days, and quite in pain. It is quite normal, as long as not unbearable. They only called us the next day to tell us the number that fertilised, for the rest you won't know until ET (in my case day after ET,). Fingers crossed for you!

Our is a 4BB, so good but not excellent. Previous was a 5AB. 3AB is a very good embaby grade!

@morganablue thanks for the update, the past 3 days I've had pain but it's been bearable, today I feel like a new woman 🤣 just very tender breasts.

I'm getting soo nervous for tomorrow, I'm trying to understand the gradings for the embryo 🙈 xx

Thank you @Vparisi @morganablue! Time flies but each day/week feels like it goes on forever up until that 12 week mark. Want to get my proper 12 weeks scan (at 14 weeks) out the way but that’s not till next Saturday … the wait continues!
@Sarah2328 sending you all the baby dust for tomorrow! ✨✨✨ I remember being bamboozled by the gradings but she said they don’t keep any that wouldn’t make a baby so essentially they’re all good regardless of grade! Xxx

@Sarah2328 I was borderline uncomfortably needing the loo at the time of my transfer. If I was too uncomfortable they said I could go for a bit of a wee to help but he did say that the fuller the bladder it really helps them see where they're putting it. The transfer is only super quick & the wee after is the best feeling ever 😂

Omg that wee after the transfer was the best, I honestly thought I was going to wet myself.

So I had 4 lovely embryo's, 1 transferred which was a 5AB and the other 3 are going to be frozen, which again they said were good quality.

Thanks for all your positive vibes ladies, really means a lot, just fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻 my body accepts the embryo xx
