@HereToLearnAndShare soo happy to hear this, you must be so relieved.

I've not had the combined test, but I've got my 13 week scan on the 14th with all my bloods etc so I'm just going to wait for that and then I'm transferring to my partners mums hospital as she is a midwife and her team will look after my care etc.

I was discharged straight away from guys too after my scan, what hospital you looking at going to? X

thislittlebird · 02/12/2021 12:12

Not sure if anyone is still on here that’s waiting treatment. But I’ve finally got confirmation of starting treatment the last week of Jan.

Welshpea · 02/12/2021 12:33

Hey everyone!

Sorry i've been taking a break from the chat but i've just caught up and sounds like so much good news! Congratulations!

Had my hysteroscopy Tuesday and they actually found scarring that they were able to remove. I went in thinking it would be nothing as i've had so many ultrasounds and hycosy and they have never found anything. I have a telephone follow up with the ACU 20th December so I will see if they will want us to go ahead with transfer or if they will advise we try naturally for a few months.

Hope anyone waiting for their transfers comes around quickly! @thislittlebird that's great news - will come around so quickly with Christmas !

HereToLearnAndShare · 02/12/2021 19:23

@Sarah2328 Thank you!
Tbh I am not sure how to choose the hospital - should I choose the closest one or do research on some kind of rating or both.. We will be also most likely move houses in Feb, so I may sign up for Guys until then (I am pretty sure they have the antenatal care too) It is great your mother-in-law will be your midwife, I am sure are your fav pation already :)

@thislittlebird That's great news! It's nice to have the dates penciled in, so you can plan the Christmas holidays

@Welshpea I am glad there is some progress. Would you prefer to try naturally for a few months or you would rather book a transfer?

@thislittlebird oh that's lovely news. I've been meaning to check in and see if you had heard anything yet. I have been told I will be offered a slot Jan/Feb. Did they advise you of this first and then later confirm what week or did they confirm this straight away? X

thislittlebird · 02/12/2021 22:58

Hi @jusstjaee! It was separately. I was told I’d be offered a Jan/Feb slot and then I had to send back info about my dates and willingness to take the pill etc, I’m assuming that’s the bit you did? Then I chased up yesterday to see if that email I sent back was all ok because I hadn’t heard back and want to know what I’m doing. My cycle is due late Jan, so they’ve pencilled me in for the week of Jan 24th with EC probably the week of 7th Feb. They were very quick to respond initially, but I’ve also asked about when a nurse’s appointment might be because we’re away 8-15 Jan in Edinburgh, I won’t be available those dates and obviously want to avoid them.

jusstjaee · 03/12/2021 21:04

@thislittlebird How weird... woke up today and they had emailed advising they have scheduled me for w/c 21st Feb with EC 7th March. Not too far of from each other. How you feeling about it all? I am happy a date has finally been confirmed but it is just feeling like forever!

thislittlebird · 03/12/2021 21:41

@jusstjaee oh that’s really close! I’m assuming I’ll have a freeze all and won’t be doing any transfers in Feb anyway. It feels fairly soon for me, but I think that’s because I know it’s soon Christmas ✅, then a week away a couple of weeks later ✅ and then we’ll be starting ivf ✅ so it feels very odd tbh. Real but not yet very real. I think it will feel more real whenever the nurse’s appointment is.

I’m now fretting my cycle won’t be the predicted date, because I was on Letrozole for the last three months and it was very regular. I bet it goes crazy now and comes at weird times ugh.

Sarah2328 · 04/12/2021 19:59

@thislittlebird @Welshpea amazing news ladies that you have dates to start your treatment 😘 Christmas will be over and before you know it you will be starting treatment.

@HereToLearnAndShare prob a good idea to stays with guys then and when you move just transfer all your details over your local hospital.

My completion for my build of house is January, just can't wait to get in now and get it all ready before bubba is here. X

thislittlebird · 07/12/2021 11:21

Did you guys get told what your fertility drugs delivery would include before it arrived? I’ve been told when it’s arriving but not what it will include and I wanted to ask for Cyclogest instead of Utrogestan (which is what I think you all got?) because I get thrush quite a lot but I’m not sure if a) progesterone is sent at this stage or b) if they’ll listen or change it if I ask.

Welshpea · 07/12/2021 18:59

@thislittlebird Hey

I had an email with what medication was arriving the day after they arranged my start dates.

It also had the option of arranging the delivery in the email too

Don't know if they use the same company every time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah i had cyclogest

thislittlebird · 07/12/2021 19:23

@Welshpea oh that’s interesting, I’ll keep an eye out for it. Did it come from the nurses or the delivery company?

I’m glad you had cyclogest, because that’s the one I want and when I emailed today she did say they normally prescribe it which was good. She said she’d put a note on my file but that was a little confusing because I don’t understand if they’ve placed the meds order yet or not 🤨

Sarah2328 · 07/12/2021 19:40

@thislittlebird when guys order the medication they don't do it straight away, I waited around 4 days and then got an email from the company as to what I would be receiving so you can check it's all correct, couple days after that the medication got delivered. Xx

Welshpea · 07/12/2021 19:45

@thislittlebird
I've just checked and the email was from Fertility2u.com

First one was saying someone had set up an account because i am a patient and then second one was medication list and to arrange delivery date

thislittlebird · 07/12/2021 22:01

@Sarah2328 that’s helpful, thanks! Hopefully they haven’t ordered it yet which is why she said she’d add it to my file. My medication isn’t coming until Jan 18th which is very close to our meds appointment and day 2 scan.

@Welshpea yeah they said fertility2u would be the company I’d hear from. Useful to know all this so I can keep an eye out.

Sarah2328 · 07/12/2021 22:05

@thislittlebird I got my medication 2 days before going for my first scan, you will deffo have it in time xx

thislittlebird · 09/12/2021 09:19

@Sarah2328 good to know. I’m worried my period will have shifted forward in the month quite a bit by January, all of this is so frustrating. Behave, body!

jusstjaee · 21/12/2021 00:10

@Welshpea aww that's great news so happy for you... I am feeling so excited xx

@HereToLearnAndShare thank you so much I honestly cannot wait to start

thislittlebird · 24/12/2021 08:55

Merry Christmas everyone here! I’m not sure if there’s many of us left starting from scratch in the new year, me and @jusstjaee?

I start late Jan, currently taking progesterone I had left to keep my period away or I’m going to miss my slot :/ I’m hoping they’ll give me norethisterone if next month is looking to be early too.

I wanted to have a drink at Christmas but now worry has crept in about my egg quality. Confused

thislittlebird · 30/12/2021 04:12

I can’t sleep and I’m having a panic in the middle of the night that my ivf won’t make any embryos. Some of you here were on low drug doses and not only made embryos but were successful, right? I have had AMH of 31 and 36 at different times so it’s quite high and I’m worrying that my 150 gonal f protocol won’t produce anything. The doctor wanted to put me on max doses because I’m 38 and I told her no, because I’m worried by OHSS and other doctors I’d spoken to previously had said to go for low/medium doses. I don’t think I should be on max doses but now I’m panicking I should have gone with it and it will fail.

Plantsandcoffee · 05/01/2022 11:55

Hi @thislittlebird

I'm just getting up to date with all this. I've not been following for a while. I don't know if people are still using this thread. Please let me know if there is a new updated thread I should follow.

Sorry to hear you've been struggling with worry. It must be so difficult. Sending you calming and postive vibes 🌙✨

I had a call yesterday that funding is approved and we have an appointment on Thursday 13th. If anyone could advise on what we should expect from this appointment that would be so amazing.

It's been so good to see the other ladies come back with positives... hoping to be a bit more active on here now things are actually moving for us

HereToLearnAndShare · 05/01/2022 13:13

@thislittlebird I just saw your post. I know how hard it, I was panicking about everything as well. My AMH was 54 and I had Gonal F 225 for 4 days then reduced to 150. I had 20 + eggs colleted. To avoid OHSS we did a freeze all cycle and I had to drink plenty of water after EC. Try not to overthink , I know it is easier to say than do, but try not to stress too much. It will be all fine! 🙏💓
