@ngy21 my trasfer is tomorrow now , as they realised that the consultant isn’t at work today
So tomorrow I go for trasfer ! So annoyed , always last minute changes .

Oh no. When you've built yourself up for it. Did they ring and tell you before you got there. Its not very good that .

I'm sure tomorrow will be equally as smooth as it should have been today . X

@Justawannabemam yes they rang me this morning , but I don’t understand why they don’t check that the day before , not few hours before someone has to have a trasfer .
It’s seems very unorganised . They are the ones who booked me in for today so they must of known that the consultant isn’t on the shift today . Just never get a break from things going wrong . Hopefully tomorrow nothing else goes wrong . I was soo panicky when she rang and said we have a problem , I though maybe they will cancel my cycle or I though maybe My Covid test came back positive or something , so I am actually happy taht it wasn’t cancelled all together Xx thank you xx

@Justawannabemam all good here thanks! Almost making to my 12 week mark. I have my midwife face to face at 12 weeks (Friday) to do bloods and get notes. Other than that I get the occasional cramping and still have the sudden hunger. Hope you are keeping well. 3rd is really not that far away! Next week! Keen to know how things go and whether they do have any cancellations for you. Fingers crossed 🤞

I am doing quite well at the moment tho I have moments of nerves thinking something could be wrong. I feel like I need the 12 week scan to be my main confirmation, that my bloods come back ok, tests to be low risks and heartbeat healthy before I can relax... suppose worrying is normal. But things seem to be moving quite quickly now.. I have an appointment this week with midwife, next week is my scan then I think I will have my other MW appointments booked in (16w, 20w scan, 25, 28... then lost count 😂)

Let us know how it goes tomorrow! So very excited to go through the TWW with you!

@ngy21 yeah she told me yesterday that they will give me a call around 11 am about my embryo once thawed and tell me how it’s going and then Ill get a time to come in xx just to make sure embryo thaws ok

@ngy21 , hey , I have done my trasfer and I’m back home.
Well my trasfer did not go as planned !
They had to thaw 3 embryos out of 5 to trasfer 2 back in..
First choice embryo partly survived but lost some cells , so they thawed another one to see if It’s better , so they 2nd didn’t survive . Then they thawed 3rd one and this also partly survived so I trasferred number 1 and 3 because they both don’t have as high chance for pregnancy like 1 fully survived embryo .
So I don’t know what to think anymore .
Never expected to transfer 2 but because they have far less chance of implanting, they decided for me to have 2 in for tiny bit higher chance . So I feel blah
Not looking forward to this at all . Can’t belive my embryos are so crap when they were so good when frozen

@ShareLove so sorry to hear. did they not want to defrost anymore or did they not want to risk not having any embryos for a later stage?

Don't give up hope, it must be hard for you right now but there have been women out there where the grade of the embryo wasn't too good and they stuck!

I was skeptical about a "good" quality embryo because sometimes the embryo just sticks if they want to stick, regardless of quality!

I've watched a girl on youtube who's embryo dropped 2 grades when they thawed them, but the little one stuck and now he's 11 month old, and healthy!!!!

Imagine you have twins, this would be crazy!

Did they advise anything else? or just test on OTD and continue with progesterone?

@ngy21 yeha I’m trying to stay positive but in my head I already count myself out !
But they didn’t advise anything else just to carry on with medicine and take test in 2 weeks . I’m not sure why they didn’t thaw more , maybe because they didn’t want to end up with all 5 partly surviving embryos and they having to throw them away because they would not want to do that when there is chance they can work still . At least I have 2 more but I belive they will have same problem . I don’t know why xx

@ShareLove yea i believe they dont want to thaw them all, like you say your 2 could actually work. I've read alot of stuff about people doing PTA testing and then actually, they rid of those that are "abnormal" when they could have worked.

Can you imagine someone going through the whole process and PTA said it's all abnormal, then having to go through another round of IVF?! esp if they have to pay privately too. So it makes complete sense. Esp if it's quality that is still viable!!!

I think i've been having bouts of nausea.... last night my mouth was just constant saliva and just felt crappy. And i get it throughout the day as well but all i do is burp lol.

Yep once we have the scan, we will start to tell close friends and family! Just nervous about how to announce.... to friends it's just gonna be normal announcement, but close friends and family we want to be transparent and tell them about the IVF. Only my in-laws know about the IVF treatment at the moment.

All good though so far, just nervous about the risk results which i don't think i'll get until my 16w appointment with the MW!

I am 6 days past trasfer and test is negative so I am out!!! 😖
My official test date is 8 days away ! But I think that is pointless as it should show a faint faint line by now ! So I count myself out already after knowing I had so low chance to begin with , I feel crap and low and depressed ! Nothing good happens to me 🥺 sorry about the rant but I feel extremely unlucky that it’s all gone to shit . Xx

@ShareLove ahhh! So sorry to hear but I do think there is a chance of a late implanter?! Or maybe u need bloods to be sure? I wouldn't rule out yet until/if AF shows!!! Still another week for ur OTD!

@ShareLove so sorry for you . Its so hard isn't it ?! I don't thinknive ever felt so out of control. And I say it myself "it's in God's hands" but crickey I thiught God brought good things to us (I'm not particularly religious btw). You have tested very early. Wait and do another on yout OTD . Fingers crossed the result changes

We finally have our review tomorrow. Hoping we get some dates. We got our letter confirming funding so im hoping they will have us again . And not they turn around and say there's no chance and we don't think it's worth it. It happened once so surely there's a chance it can happen again.

My cycle started on Wednesday I've never been so relieved to see it . Not that anything will happen soon. I saw on the hospitals insta they are shut right throughout Xmas . I'd be delighted if I was on the list for January. Although I've out a few lbs on . Enjoying the pre Christmas biscuits. X

@Justawannabemam fingers crossed for your review tomorrow and that they give you good news about dates!! it is very mentally draining all this waiting game.

Hey ladies.

Review went went it was with a consultant I've not met before. She was lovely.
Theyve said that they will increase the overleap (stim) to 450. I was on 300 then 375 . So she said to go for the maximum to create more follicles. Then I started thinking what if I over react.
They said they would increase the progesterone to twice a day .

So no further news on a start date. My GP hadn't sent them a copy of the funding confirmation. She said it could still be April. But I'll go onto the cancellations list . I hope someone gets pregnant naturally then I can have there place. Haha .x

@sharelove how are you ? Have you tested again or waiting u til OTD ? I got upset on the video call today so I feel your heart ache. Sending you loves.

@Justawannabemam sorry girls I haven’t been on here much ! It looks like my cycle has failed , my test date is next Wednesday but so far have tested negative so it’s pretty negative down my end . Just trying to be strong and see what to do next when I ring them on Wednesday about my result ! I hope you both ok and well done to you both for keeping well xxx

My baby scan went well thanks! Got my flu jab as well, will be taking my whooping cough jab at my 20 weeks scan. Due date has changed from 10th June to 7th June! Was measuring at 13 weeks when she scanned me
