It's definitely better to be safe with your health though.

I had my first scan today after starting stims. 6 follicles between 8 and 10mm in one and 7 between 9 and 11mm in the other. They seemed satisfied and are keeping my dosage the same for now. Next update Monday! I wish someone would create a home scanning machine so I can just check whenever I want. 🤣

Yeh thank you it went well.

We had 2 that made it both graded 4 BB so we put both back in.

We figured with time against us give it our all. We have one cycle left which we would use if unsuccessful. But given I'm 41 in August if we wanted another to wait a couple of years just didn't sit well with us and the consultant and embryologist agreed. So they are in there .x

Aww yay! I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!

I'm feeling normal. No symptoms that I recognise. Had second scan today. I've got 12 follicles in left and 7 in right. All between 8 and 10cm. They've increased my overleap dose to 150 every day and next follownup is Wednesday. I'm a little disappointed as they initially were hoping to do egg collection I'm Friday but today they said that's unlikely and will probably be next week at some point now. They also said that I'm likely to be one of those people who have to freeze all the embryos and rest up for a whole before implanting. Which is even more of a bummer as I was expecting everything to be done in this cycle.
Just gotta remember to stay positive and take it a day at a time. Never know, everything may work out how I want... and if it doesn't, just move onto the next steps.

@Konnie1991 I had to do stims for an extra few days . Its just so they can mature enough. Any new ones now wouldn't catch up. At our clinic they do like them to be in the High teens. You have a high number so they are maybe thinking your ovaries will be swollen. Hopefully not keep drinking plenty of water.

Theyll have your best interests at heart I'm sure.

@Justawannabemam Your words are very reassuring. Thank you. I do need to keep at it with the water. I'm so bad at drinking. Didn't realise the importance of it in relation to ivf until now. Next scan tomorrow so fingers crossed!

I've heard the 2 week wait is incredibly tough especially after all the stuff we have to do before the transfer. Suddenly its just waiting around. I hope it flies by for you!

@Konnie1991 yeh I e just been taking it easy . Been for a couple of walks with the dogs. I didnt sleep very well so I'll try and get an early night I think .

@Konnie1991i know how bummed i was when EC was delayed but it worked out for the best! I think overall my EC was delayed twice, so they told me EC on Friday... but eggs weren't mature enough so they pushed for EC on a Monday, delayed again! So ended up doing an EC on a Wednesday. I think by now you may have had your EC? Hope you are feeling well!

It's been a week today since my transfer. So I don't know if its 7 or 8 days post transfer. I done a test this morning at got a faint line. I hope they get darker as I just got faint lines last time when I had my chemical. I've not had any spotting to date. I feel bloated, my breasts are very tender and feel heavy but that could just be the medication.

What you think of this . Do you think it's about the right colour scale post transfer.

I wouldn't have known at 7/8dpt as i never tested myself but a faint line sounds about right! I tested 14/15dpt so mine were quite dark. But your second picture.... the line is SO DARK!!!
I wonder if both of them took..... omg i am so excited for you!!!!

I have my 25w MW appt tomorrow and i think this is when they start doing the measurements, then i have my GD test on Monday (not looking forward to that). And then we go Dubai when i hit 27 weeks. I feel like time has dragged but gone quick too as we have a lot of stuff going round the house!!

Only thing that i am not enjoying is the sleepless nights as my hips ache so bad that i have to keep tossing and turning every hour. I am going to get a knee pillow later today in hopes it will help me sleep better...

When are you going to notify your clinic?! i am so happy for you!!! The line is just so dark!!! I cannot wait for your 6-8 week scan!!!

Hi @ngy21 thank you I trying not to get carried away. Last time I tested + then chemical. I've actively got dome of the same drives I used on day 7 coming today and I've saved my wee so I'll see if they get any darker. The white still is a FRER. With that being ssaid last time I could barely see lines so that gives me some hope x

I've to go clinic on Saturday for bloods so we are driving there Friday night as I've to be there for for first app. I've not told my OH cos I said I wouldn't. I'll keep it that way 🤫.
Would they know from my bloods if its one or two? Would it be higher for two ? They done a check on me yesterday and I'll be stay on progesterone for the next 6 weeks and I dont know if I will stay on it passed that point. Are you still on it ?

Lovely to hear your progressing. Wow Dubai sounds amazing. We normally go on holiday in September and my friends are on at me to book . I dont know when I'd be due or anything like what's the rules with flying ? I'm going in June with the girls for a week hopefully I'll be OK to go and relax

Yea usually HCG should measure higher, but it doesn't always mean twins - i think you may need to wait for your scan to be sure!
I stayed on progesterone until the end of my 9th week pregnancy, but i think if you do a frozen one, they ask for you to stay on it until 12th week. i was so done with them cus they were so messy!!! only thing i am on now is vit D as advised from MW, she told me to stop taking folic when i hit week 20 as sometimes it can cause tongue tie in babies.

I think you can calculate due date from EC. Mine was suppose to be June 11th, but when i went for my first scan i was measuring 3 days ahead, and both 12 week and 20 week scan has been accurate.

June would be good for you as i think you will into early second trimester??? I guess you will have to keep stalling your friends on the sept holiday or tell them to go ahead and book without you for now!! you will be quite heavily pregnant then so im sure they will understand once/if you announce ur pregnancy after first tri!!

I will probably tell them to book without us . One of my friend actually knows she was still trying to get me to book. Saying I'd be okay to go as I wouldn't be due until November. But I just think if its 2 I'll be huge and uncomfortable. But I'm not looking that far ahead right now. I'll see if they can predict a date at the clinic on Saturday. We had a fresh transfer so im not sure how long thankfully I'm on the injections so no mess involved.

So my tests just arrived. It's getting dark hey !

Had my EC today! Just got home a couple of hours ago. They got 11 eggs which they will do ivf on. Waiting for a call later today or maybe tomorrow to find out what is what. Hopefully out of the 11 there'll be at least 1 good blastocyst! If so, I'll have a fresh transfer on Monday. Hubby is super excited. So am I guess. I keep trying to remind him it could still not work out. Lol. For now, bed rest for me and this damn anal pessary to look forwards to....

Supposing all goes well, we were wondering when our due date would be. If transfer is Monday 28th then we calculated November 23rd-28th. Taking into account that they'll technically be fertilised today....

In terms of holidays, we've also been dying to go somewhere. Last 2 years have been impossible. I've read that it's safest to fly during second trimester. So would be June July or August!

Yes definitely try fit a hol in during second tri, i left mine kinda late as i will be late second tri going into third. hoping the tiredness won't hit till mid-end third tri!

@Justawannabemam wow congratulations to you I’m so happy for you ! Finally !!! You had 2 trasferred so you have amazing chance of at least one sticking and being normal in chromosomes . If not both 😍 you really deserve after all you been through ! Can’t belive it wow !

Thanks ladies. I feel okay to be honest. A cramp here or there and general fatigue but I'm good. Got a call this morning. 8 eggs have fertilised but 5 of those are classed as poor quality. And i don't know about the other 3. They didnt really say anything about those but nothing negative either... so idk. I'm a a bit bummed. I feel like they're whittling down to 0.

@Justawannabemam Congratulations on your 2 embryos! Hope they stick. Do you know when you'll officially know there are two in place?

@Konnie1991 they might pick up. And if they aren't the best quality you can transfer those and freeze the better ones . Yeh you might loose some but then you have some in the freezer as a back up.

I assume I would find out at a 6 weeks scan . I've read there may be an indication from the blood levels until tomorrow I wint know really.

Try not to worry . Its in their hands now . X

Confirmed Pregnant.
My clinic says anything over 200 back from bloods is confirmed and mine was 600.

Back in 2 weeks for a 6 week scan.

I hope all you ladies get this feeling one day. I've been on the other end of news and it's heart breaking. I have my fingers crossed for you all current in there 2ww, transferring soon or EC Xx

@ngy21 @Justawannabemam thank you both fornyour reassuring words. I know you're both right. It only takes one. Cant help but worry though. Jsut the rest of today and tomorrow to go. My transfer is booked for 11:15 Monday. If there are no embryos viable they'll tell me 2 hours before. Praying beyond belief that, that call doesnt come... and everything is fine. My m.i.l is passing me off with her constant nagging and lecturing... honestly it's grinding on me and my patience is wearing thin. Idk how I haven't snapped at her yet. Instead I've just been cursing her in my head and now I'm paranoid I've brought bad karma to my whole ivf situations by thinking bad thoughts. I just dont want any bad vibes around this time... but its proving difficult. Maybe I'm just going mad.
