IVF September/October 2021

Hi all, I had a search and didn't see a thread for September/October. If there is one already please let me know and I'll join. I'll be starting stims at the end of September/early October with the Lister. I'm pretty terrified tbh, would be happy to hear from anyone else starting around the same time. I'm a first-timer and we'll be having ICSI (possibly IMSI).

How you feeling following your transfer ? When can you test ? Fingers crossed for you

Feeling al the meds but was before the transfer as I’m on a fair bit of stuff! Official test day is 13th but might go for 11th

@Aim2912 thank you . Went well today. I never got to see anything but he was quoting numbers . They've increased my meds back again for another scan.

Ah think I had managed to make myself forget how the 2WW makes you crazy!!

How is everyone getting on?

@Alexm06 have you had another scan? Any improvements/adjustments?

@Aim2912 was baseline scan ok? are you a couple of weeks away from transfer?

How are you getting on with the 2ww @BuffyFanForever? I was a crazy person last time. Hoping to be more chilled for this one.

@Bobtat no news yet have a scan today at 2.30. To be honest I just want them to cancel it now I just think it's too late in the cycle so that's what I'm hoping for.
How you getting on?

@Bobtat yes had the baseline scan, all was fine!, got a lining check next Thursday. if all is ok transfer is expected on Wednesday the 20th

hows it all going for you? how have your scans been? have they given a date for expected transfer? :)

@Aim2912 ah that's good news. Pleased for you. My scan was fine thanks - 10mm last week so they are happy for me to go ahead with transfer this Friday 🤞🏻

@Bobtat we'll be having egg collection and hopefully fresh. But I have a feeling I'm going to over stimulate.....

@paintfairy hope you are managing ok. I found the fresh cycle a bit more brutal compared to the FETs.

Feeling relatively relaxed for Friday's transfer but I think if this one doesn't work I will wait until Jan to do my last attempt. It's a bit mad doing them back to back.

@Bobtat yes I'm getting that impression from many people! Whether we'll get that far i don't know. Happy to do a freeze all of we need to. But I'm not looking forwards to egg collection. Still a long way off though.

@paintfairy thank you... i know the pre month always feels like a drag! with IVF we need bags of patients... hard when we already been trying for ages

@Alexm06 sorry to hear, have they told you how long they will wait for the lining to grow, before they cancel. some people have long cycles and ovulate late , so i think they can transfer up to day 28

on another point did any one fee very tired while taking proynova..i feel absolutely shattered!

So can anyone help me.
I'm just about to have egg collection hopefully Monday. I'm on 375ml of overleap. I was on 300 then thry increased it from Monday. So now I've been having a bit of egg white mucus when going to the toilet . Is this normal ? Am I ovulating and therefore will be too late on Monday? Thank you.

@Bobtat @Aim2912 @paintfairy thanks guys had my scan and it's 7.8mm so they are going to continue with transfer either Monday or Wednesday (looking more like Wednesday) but just waiting for the call. A bit annoying as I'll be cycle day 31/cycles day 2 as my period is due the Tuesday. The gynaecologist has said it doesn't matter as the progynova has shut down everything but yeah I'm still worrying and I can't imagine I will be very positive on the 2ww.

@Justawannabemam hope you don’t mind me jumping in but this was a worry of mine too, I’ve been on Gonal F and got all worried I was about to ovulate because I had so much CM. They reassured me (and proved it during the scans) that it is completely normal.

@Justawannabemam I have egg collection tomorrow, so understand the thoughts going through your head. You’re doing great!

@Alexm06 that sounds positive to me! I don't think you need to worry too much about we're you would be if you're on a medicated cycle (sorry - can't remember if you are?). The combination of the drugs used overrides your whole system so your ovaries are quiet and the lining is ready for implantation.
