Hi all, I had a search and didn't see a thread for September/October. If there is one already please let me know and I'll join. I'll be starting stims at the end of September/early October with the Lister. I'm pretty terrified tbh, would be happy to hear from anyone else starting around the same time. I'm a first-timer and we'll be having ICSI (possibly IMSI).

Hey guys!
I think there maybe 2 threads the same so I thought I would jump on here as well.

I have just started meds for my 2nd FET but 4th transfer. First one ended in a missed miscarriage and the others just didn't take.
My last FET my lining wasn't thick enough on the first scan so had to wait an extra week before transferring. I'm trying everything to get it ready first time round rather then having to wait a few more days for another scan haha. I'm also having 2 put back this time so hopefully one of them will stick.

@Bobtat I'm on a similar timeline to you I believe I have a scan next Wednesday and then if think enough should transfer 5 days later but we will see.

How are you guys all doing?

I had my second FET on August 31st after my first FET ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. We have, fortunately, tested positive again and are anxiously just trying to get past the 6 week mark this time!

Hi Guys, hope you dont mind me joining in.

Im due to have my FET 2nd or 3rd week of October, i started nerothisterone yesterday (day 14) due to dart the buserelin on day 21

@Bobtat @Alexm06 i think im also similar timing to you guys, you mentioned there is another similar thread on here, but i didnt see it whats it called?

if you dont mind me asking have any of had any previous transfers fresh/ FET

Bit about me, ive been trying for 4 years had one natural pregnancy but end in a mc at 8 weeks, had 2 rounds of ivf, the 1st one only had one embryo, did a fresh transfer which failed. 2nd one was in June 2021, has 5 embryos and froze them all. Now finally got the alL clear to start the FET.

@Alexm06 hello! Nice to have some company! I'm on the buserelin now waiting for day 1 of AF so I can get my scan booked and start the oestrogen so might be a couple of weeks behind you. How are you feeling?

@Aim2912 sounds like you've been through the ringer a bit with the timings. I'm sorry to hear you suffered a miscarriage - hope you're doing ok and that this is a good cycle for you. yes, I've done one fresh transfer (froze 4 embryos) and two FETs now. This will be my third.

@Mica94 huge congratulations - that's wonderful news. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Everything crossed for you

Hi all, not posted much here lately as not much has been happening. We’re just waiting for our nhs cycle which might be as late as November or December and I’m doing a private Letrozole cycle (or maybe two) while we wait. Did receive the nhs letter with the protocol on though.

@Gensola remind me of your different protocols?

Welcome to the new joiners, I need to do some reading to catch up!

@Gensola ignore me, I found where you answered this question for me before. They want to put me on gonal f 150, just hope they’re happy to adjust doses if I’m not responding.

Hello hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the September FET thread and thought would jump on here too..
This will be my first transfer. I had to have a freeze all last month due to OHSS. I have just started my estrogen tablets today. Progress scan next week and transfer scheduled for the week after.

@Bobtat Hi, nice to have someone on the same timeline. My scan is booked for Wednesday next week. Have you been given your transfer date?

Is it right that the transfer of a day 5 embryo would be done on the 6th day of progesterone and a day 6 embryo on the 7th day of progesterone..

@Csparkles exciting. No transfer date yet - going by last time my transfer (5 day embie) was 6 days after the scan I think. How are you feeling about it?

@Bobtat oh yes you are behind I'm just on progynova. I have a scan booked in for Wednesday to check my lining but if it's like last time I maybe delayed as it's wasn't thick enough but this time I've been doing all I can to get it thick haha so we will see. If it is thick enough I guess transfer will be next week but who knows haha. How are you getting on?

@Alexm06 yeah I'm on buserelin and progynova atm. I'm doing fine thanks - it's the cyclogest that turns me crazy I think!! Wednesday is good - not long to go then!! I have two frosties but we are just putting one in. How about you?

@Bobtat haha me too I turn into an emotional wreck when I'm on that! I have 3 left but will be putting 2 back in this time. We lost one on defrost last time so we are kind of expecting that again. This will be my 4th transfer so I guess that's why they are letting me out 2 back.

@Bobtat hope this one is the one... sound like you have been through alot! it always amazes me hearing how positive and strong women on here are.

im behind you guys as im still doing the pre cycle meds stating the busereline on Thursday. looking at the the time line and if everything goes to plan my transfer will be 3rd week of October.

@Csparkles hows it all going for you? hope your scan goes well next week

@Alexm06 hope the scan goes well on Wednesday, sounds like youve been through it all too!!
after transfer do you only have to take the cyclogest for progesterone support?
im nervous about the progesterone support im told i have to take. As ive been given 3 forms of progesterone, which looking on here and other chats seems not many people are on.

any tips to help the lining?

@Aim2912 I will be on cyclogest twice and day and lubion injections twice a week I believe. I haven't had the lubion injections on any of my other transfers just the cyclogest.
What are they putting you on?
Lining This time ive been drinking pomegranate juice, going for a walk everyday, l-arginine (which I haven't taken before) and then all my other vitamins hahaha

@Alexm06 thanks for the tips, will look in to the l- arginine. i been told having warm food like soups also helps.

im will be on crinone, which is similar to cyclogest twice a day, utrogestan 2 tabs three times a day, lentogest injection 3 times a week which i think may be similar to lubion.

@Aim2912 I am also taking raspberry leaf capsules as well. Sorry I completely forgot until I just took all the tablets haha.
They are probably the same as mine but just different names and dosages.

@Aim2912 not too far behind us then - think my transfer will be that week too! Wow - that's a lot of meds. Hope they are not too taxing for you. yes it's a bit odd doing these two FETs back to back - feels like I've been cycling for ages. It's a taxing process but I've had a lot of luck too as my first and second transfers both worked and so I have a daughter and son with a 17m age gap from my fresh transfer and first FET. Second FET last month didn't stick but we've got two frosties left from the original fresh cycle and we agreed we wanted to give them all the same chance so here I am!

@Bobtat that's great that you have had success. Heres to baby no 3!. Yes i think i would do the same. I have 5 frozen and will eventually have them all transferred to give them all a chance!.

@Alexm06 thanks, I bought the raspberry leaf tea, but was in two minds about having. I think you need to stop having it a few days before transfer. But now order some l- arginine. How did your appointment go today?

@Aim2912 my lining still isn't thick enough so have another scan on Monday where he said it should be thick enough by then. Just annoying as now that puts my test day back a week meaning I will now have to test the week of starting of my new job which's means I won't be able to take a day or two if it's bad news.

@Alexm06 argh sorry to hear that. I got pushed back too (in my case on the meds as my period was a week late after the last FET) and similar situation as just started new job this week. Annoying

@Bobtat still not thick enough think he said it was 6.5 last time at this point it was so yeah just a little bit annoying. Have booked me for another scan Friday and upped my dose of progynova. How you doing?

Argh so annoying: I'll probably be the same as I took longer to ovulate this month apparently. My scan is Friday too - such a pain having to schlep back and forth to the clinic. I'm doing ok thanks - not been thinking about it too much tbh!
