Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

I’m 10dp5dt just within the first min I think although does Says 45 seconds though ?

HopingForRainbow2021 · 08/07/2021 20:13

@Mack262308 if it’s 45 seconds it’s a rapid result test NOT an early result test. The rapid result aren’t as sensitive as frer, so that’s even more promising. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Mack262308 · 08/07/2021 20:27

@HopingForRainbow2021 Thanks not holding out to much I did read the instructions thought I would just there days negative results not to read after 10 mins it’s still there hasn’t got darker though sorry just wasn’t expecting that line to be fair haven’t taken my meds my clinic said continue on meds as they like 14dp5dt before they will even consider arranging another transfer everything crossed for your beta tomorrow please keep me updated ?

Belle268 · 08/07/2021 20:31

@Mack262308 that sounds really promising if it wasn’t even a FRER! I have everything crossed for you!

HopingForRainbow2021 · 08/07/2021 20:33

@Mack262308 I will do, please keep me updated too. Are you going to test tomorrow, maybe try to get a frer? when did you stop meds? Your story about your friend gave me so hope - it could be that there is hope yet for us both xx

I am going to test again in the morning, just to prepare myself a bit before blood test. Have to have the test before 10am to get a result same day, and it's a 3 hour drive into London for me at that sort of time - allowing time to park and walk on top of that, I need to be out of here by half 6. Going to be an early night!

Mack262308 · 08/07/2021 20:40

@Belle268 thank you

@HopingForRainbow2021 yeah and she had a girl so I am not as I’ve had boys if maybe girls for some are just late bloomers could be vice Vera for some though OMG half 6 wow that’s going to be a early wake up and long day for you I don’t blame you testing before you leave yes I will I’ve never actually used these first response before I had 2 so last one I’ll do tomorrow morning then the last £1 strip cheap I’ll take Monday to confirm for my clinic hope you get some rest I know it’s easier said than done when its all comes down to the actual day

HopingForRainbow2021 · 08/07/2021 20:45

@Mack262308 that's really interesting... I love hearing things like that. Will be keeping hopeful for us both. I hope you are doing okay - this IVF rollercoaster is so hard on emotions.x

HopingForRainbow2021 · 09/07/2021 06:03

Test this morning was almost entirely negative. Going to have blood test purely so they can hopefully detect that there was a pregnancy albeit briefly. Maybe that will inform next steps - but not for a good few months. Can’t take anymore of this at the moment x

Belle268 · 09/07/2021 07:16

Good luck today for anyone having bloods or more POAS!

Pingupp · 09/07/2021 07:18

@HopingForRainbow2021 hope bloods show good news. Treat yourself today after your early start.
@Belle268 hope your AF starts soon so you can move past this and start planning for your next one.

Big love to all ladies. This is a hard road xx

Mack262308 · 09/07/2021 07:57

@HopingForRainbow2021 good luck today x

@HopingForRainbow2021 I know it’s hard keep strong

firefly37 · 09/07/2021 14:58

@HopingForRainbow2021... I'm hoping it's a faulty test... Everything crossed x
@Mack262308... How exciting for u! Pleased for u... Hope all works out x
I'm covid day 8 test negative so I'm finally free of my BFN home prison. Wish I was out and pregnant but it is what it is. Some of my vitamins arrived today.. I've gone by "it starts with an egg" so gonna rattle when I walk but hopefully i can lower my FSH and have one more go. Lots of luck everyone x

Mack262308 · 09/07/2021 17:42

@firefly37 ah that’s good your vitamins have arrived and I am sure with the clinic you have chosen you will get the positive you dream of
Yeah I am also day 8 hubby paid to do test to release new aide of his work so it’s been hard work stuck in

@HopingForRainbow2021 how are you feeling I know it will of been a long day for you having to set off early then the dread wait I am hoping you have got good news it’s been a rollercoaster week

HopingForRainbow2021 · 09/07/2021 20:50

@Mack262308 thank you. How was your test this morning? Really hope it’s getting stronger for you - sending all my hope your way x

I’m feeling pretty crap. HCG level was 11 - should be 80 - 100. We are told to keep testing over the next couple of days to basically make sure the line disappears and that the loss will happen spontaneously. No answers given as to why this is happening. After miscarriage last year and this, I’m worried there’s something not right with our embryos. Thank you so so much for thinking of me, you are all so kind x

Mack262308 · 09/07/2021 21:15

@HopingForRainbow2021 I am so sorry for this take some time to heal (easy for me to say I know) but please do not give up it’s a head spin of emotions this IVF rollercoaster but I promise your turn will come xx

My test was basically the same so I think If any they be very low HCG so I’m going to switch off until Monday as my doctors wouldn’t book me in for BETA so I will just ride it out I will of course update if it’s a different story but I have given up trying to stay positive!!

To all the ladies on this forum thank you for the support it helps when you think you are alone we may not of gotten our BFP however I truly believe that if we stay strong and can continue financially/physically & mentally then we will all reach our dreams X

Mancbear88 · 09/07/2021 22:02

@HopingForRainbow2021 really sorry to hear that. I was really hoping it was going to be good news! IVF is so cruel.

@Mack262308 hoping yours turns around. Would be great to have some good news on the thread.

I’ve got a hysteroscopy booked for a few weeks to see if they can find anything wrong, but I’ve had them before and they’ve never found anything.

Mancbear88 · 12/07/2021 12:04

Does anyone know how long it would take to bleed after a chemical? My OTD was a week ago. I stopped the progesterone Thursday. Not had anything yet.

Nurses are meant to be ringing with next steps at some point so can ask them too.

2mumlife · 12/07/2021 12:43

Hi everyone, had a good trip away and a chance to just not think about ttc and our chemical from this FET for a bit which has actually really helped.

Just been trying to catch up with everyones news (sorry if I've missed anyone)

Sorry to hear news from @MaggieMoo86, @Mancbear88, @firefly37, @Verbena87, @Pingupp, @Belle268 and @HopingForRainbow2021 that things didn't work this time around. Sad

Fingers crossed for you @Mack262308

@firefly37 @Verbena87 Came home to gigantic home-grown courgettes. Veg has exploded whilst we've been gone (beetroot is huge, chards gone wild, spring onions are fat as anything...list goes on...) so we're going to be on home-grown this week to get things back under control!

@Pingupp We're out of frosties, got review consultation this week, and hoping we can go ahead with another EC round next month on a new protocol, but there is a chance they might make me re-do AMH gtest, in which case we'll be waiting months to go again....

Pingupp · 12/07/2021 13:52

@2mumlife Urgh hope you can get started ASAP and EC is quick.
Where did you go?? We have got Majorca booked on 22nd - praying we don't get Covid or come into contact with anyone with Covid before then! I am desperate to get away from everything. We went to see my parents up north this weekend and that was just what I needed - a big cuddle from my mum.
We have our consultation on 19th and I am hoping the dr will get us right back in for a FET on same short protocol. We have decided to go again and if that one ends in a miscarriage - we will go down the testing route. Praying it goes our way next time.

@Mancbear88 sorry to hear your news. mine started on weds - stopped meds on the fri before .... so reckon you will start soon enough. Big hugs x

lucymills1234 · 12/07/2021 14:38

Hi @Mancbear88 I had a chemical this round too. Stopped meds on the Sunday and started bleeding on the Weds, though I have had nothing like a normal bleed. It's been really light so far and is now dwindling to nothing at all.

It's been so light I don't know whether this actually counts as a proper bleed or not (has not been proper 'flow' at any point). It's frustrating as I was thinking to do a scratch in this cycle and another FET next cycle - but it's unclear whether last Weds was day 1.

Would be really interesting to know if anyone else has had similar? My lining was over 13mm before transfer so I was expecting to bleed quite heavily.

Mancbear88 · 12/07/2021 17:36

@Pingupp @lucymills1234 thank you. Sorry to hear of yours. Not been a success for a lot of us on this thread has it. Hopefully we’ll all ‘meet’ again on a successful one!

@lucymils1234 the nurse told me it might be a lot heavier and more painful than usual so not sure why it would be lighter. I’ve never had a chemical before though. My 7 week miscarriage, so only 2 weeks later, was like a murder scene though there was blood everywhere (TMI)!

Pingupp · 12/07/2021 18:26

@Mancbear88 mine was nasty.... be prepared! I got some heavy pads in and hot water bottle at the ready. Oh and chocolate, red wine and love island helped Wink
I hope we do all meet again later and we all have lovely news. Xx

MaggieMoo86 · 12/07/2021 18:29

@lucymills1234 it sounds like we have had a very similar experience.
I had a bfn this cycle and normally my periods are super regular. I was due on Sunday but continued the pessaries until Monday night and got my period on Thursday. It is quite different from my normal- very light and my Saturday it had almost gone entirely.
My clinic are happy for me to go again for FET now but I feel a bit uncertain. Also my have a 12mm follicle (?) already…?! They think it might be a cyst or it might be ok. Need to wait until Thursday for another scan.

I hope you ladies are doing ok xx
