FET cycle buddies May/June

Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

@Bluemeadowbaby that is a lovely turn out. I can only hope to be as lucky would be an amazing end to our trip away. I've never had a positive either I've come to not expect it, it will be hard to believe if it is. I'll probably do the same as you! My breast were so sensitive from stims but it's died right down now. I usually get sore boobs before AF but have a few days still.

BFN at 9DP5DT so I'm out. Official blood test is tomorrow. I wish everyone who is waiting the best of luck.

We’ve just had our online consent form appointment, so all signed and ID checked. Then went to have a cuppa in the garden and got pooed on by a low-flying sparrow. Trying to tell myself this is Good Luck to mitigate my stroppiness at having to scrub shit off my foot under the water butt tap 🤣

I have my transfer tomorrow afternoon, I'm actually feeling quite relaxed right now, which is good as I've been so anxious in this cycle.

I am now 7dp5dt transfer and haven’t tested yet. I am planning to wait until 9dp5dt! The days are dragging on…

@Tarsette do you think? My OTD is today I know bloods and HPT are different though. In any case I got my bloods done today the brown spotting is getting heavier so I'm fairly certain I'm out and my period is desperately trying to make her presence known.

At this point I just want clarity so we can try and move on. I would have thought there would be something 9 days later.

Thanks guys, I'm officially PUPO, I asked about my lining as it usually looks thin and patchy on transfer day, I'm hoping now I'm had treatment for microflora this would have improved. The specialist said she thought it looked good, so no patchiness this time, she mentioned it looked a bit thin towards the bottom but ok at the top. We has a plan to put the embryo at the top anyway, normally they go 1.5cm from the top but in my case it was put 1cm away, the specialist said they have to be careful with going high as the embryo could implant in a tube. Now on the way home and instructing DH which roads to take to avoid road bumps, I don't want the embryo to get any help moving somewhere it shouldn't be!

@Gardenlady543 I'd bring up with your clinic about the unavailability of the counsellor, that doesn't seem right. Congrats on being PUPO

We're back from break away - ended up pretty bad weather but was fun anyway! Was back to clinic this morning for transfer day of my 4AA. They had a quieter day today which was nice, things seemed much calmer in the clinic and there was more explanation of things, had the consultant I prefer (calmer and is much more gentle) and lining looked really good, so really positive experience today. My OTD will be the 21st (bloods).

I think I am going to test on Sunday which is 6dpt, part of me wants to wait longer but I also really want to test and I would hate my period to beat me to it. I know it sounds weird.... x

@Hoping4baby21 hope you get answers soon. I was saying it’s pretty early because in my first cycle I got a BFN on 9dp5dt and then a positive ´ on bloods the next day. Admittedly I didn’t use a Frer (just a regular Clearblue) but I was still really shocked!

@2mumlife congrats on being PUPO! A 4AA! That’s amazing! My best ever grading was a 4AB I think, never got a AA so that sounds really promising!

@Gardenlady543 congrats to you too on being PUPO! I also always have mine placed high up in the uterus as that’s where my lining tends to be thickest!

I’m 7dp5dt now…another full day to go and then I can test! It’s so hard not to get one’s hopes up…I’m really trying but I can’t help thinking what if? And then I beat myself up for thinking that as it will just make the pain of a BFN so much worse…

@StrongEagle That doesn't sound weird to me at all, my AF has always come before OTD and I like to know what's what before AF too.

@Tarsette I was really unlucky that I only got 2 mature eggs at collection despite normal everything, but super lucky that my 2 eggs became a 5AA (which was transferred last time and not successful) and this 4AA little duckling. Just keep my fingers crossed this little one sticks.

@Bluemeadowbaby congrats on boarding the rollercoaster - keeping it all crossed for you too.

I’ve got my lining scan booked for Tuesday. Feeling pretty overwhelmed and weirdly numb about it - this cycle has felt very brain-foggy and stuff feels so stressful work wise with covid ramping back up that it seems a bit unreal/impossible it’ll actually happen. Don’t even know what’ll happen financially or practically if I’m isolating when I’m meant to be at a scan/transfer. Hoping to avoid it but school is getting scary again so who the fuck knows.
