Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

I think you'll need a repeat hcg in a day or two to see if it's increasing @Mez12 I wouldn't make any judgements based on the us scan. Its OTD today for you isn't it? I think normally clinics bring people in for a scan three weeks from OTD.

Bluemeadowbaby · 06/06/2021 20:17

@StrongEagle how has your day been today? Hoping you've managed to do something nice to pass the time away and that the niggles from last night are less niggly tonight! Wishing you lots of luck x

@2mumlife ahh I know the feeling you describe it's so strange but yes to panty liners lol. All good steps!! Very exciting! Good luck with the rest of the injections, I had bubble central on so many of mine...why do they even exist?! 😂 x

@Mez12 so sorry to hear you've had a real shitter of a time in A&E...can your levels be rechecked in a couple of days? I think 4 weeks is quite soon to detect a pregnancy on scan 🤔 I went for a scan for early detection and asked if I could go at 5 weeks and they said no that it would be too soon - not to cause false hope but to give a bit of comfort to you that things may be possible 💐 x

I’ve missed loads being away so apologies for anyone I’ve missed.

@Bluemeadowbaby my timeline looks like...

CD 21, start injecting buserelin and wait for a bleed, which for me was 9 days after starting injections.

That’s then cd1. From there, reduce buserelin and start estrogen tablets. After 16 days of estrogen I’ll have a lining scan (think this can be any time between 14 and 21 days), and if all looks good I’ll stop buserelin, start progesterone and transfer will be the following week.

Currently doing the estrogen/buserelin bit and have my lining scan coming up on the 15th.

Mez12 · 06/06/2021 20:55

Thank you ladies for reassurances and kind words. My OTD date was yesterday. They have asked me to come on tuesday to check the HCG levels again, they should ideally double up if there is pregnancy, Clinging on to any little hope. :(

2mumlife · 06/06/2021 21:20

@Pingupp @Bluemeadowbaby DP was back for evening shot which was nice. I've decided Lubion is just a bit nasty to inject though - it went smoother with DP doing it, but tender of both sides now. Glad you found it awkward as well @Bluemeadowbaby! Definitely the least pleasant injection I've experienced so far. Taking my mind of the utrogestan though (second one didn't feel as iritating though which was good). SO many drug alarms on my phone at the moment!

@Mez12 Hopefully the bleeding is nothing to be worried about.

StrongEagle · 06/06/2021 21:58

@Bluemeadowbaby @2mumlife I feel much better this evening thank you, I will try the mindful apps before I go to sleep now.
My consultant has changed the timing of my ET tomorrow and I'm not sure my bf will be able to attend now, he is going to try his best but if he can't do you think I will be ok getting the train home on my own? Or should I absolutely definitely get an Uber? I have no idea what to expect pain wise and obviously I want to make sure I give the embryo the best chance to implant.... any advice would be so welcome x

@Mez12 so sorry to read about the bleeding, sending my positive thoughts to you xx

Verbena87 · 06/06/2021 22:23

@StrongEagle after transfer we went and ate delicious Turkish food in borough market then schlepped across London to collect our overnight stuff from the friends we stayed with and did a 3 hour train journey home because I was overwhelmed by needing to sleep in my own bed (we’d planned to head home the next day) - pain wise I felt fine, just a bit crampy. Emotionally was fried and needed to feel safe, so whatever option is best for helping you feel calm I reckon, but there shouldn’t be any physical reason to avoid the train I don’t think (result of aforementioned transfer is currently asleep in the next bedroom surrounded by a chaos of Lego and odd socks)

@Mez12 holding hope for you; hope the hcg gives you good news.

Bluemeadowbaby · 06/06/2021 22:34

@StrongEagle I'm not sure if I just have a numb cervix 😂🙈 but both times I felt absolutely nothing on my transfer. The thing they use (can't remember the medical term) but the big thing they normally use in a smear is a bit uncomfortable but the actual transfer for me wasn't painful at all I was actually shocked it was all over and done with lol. All I did afterwards was relax at home so I would say the train or the Uber is absolutely fine whichever you feel is less stressful I say ☺️ x

@Verbena87 @Mancbear88 thanks so much for the timeline that gives me some sort of idea how and what to expect. I think because the clinic have been a bit vague with the back log of covid it's kind of a "what happens now" situ. I'll sit tight a bit longer and trust the process 😌 x

Bluemeadowbaby · 06/06/2021 22:38

@StrongEagle oh and just to add, one of the transfers afterwards was a little chaotic getting rained on, stuck in traffic and wrong takeaway order then the next day a huge panic attack at work just from being too overwhelmed...but stresses aside, that transfer resulted in my little boy tucked up in bed in the room across the landing 🥰 x

Tarsette · 07/06/2021 05:14

@StrongEagle good luck with transfer today! I agree with everything the ladies on here have said. You can’t stress yourself into not making it work. The little embué will soon be on board and then it will be entirely up to him to make it work! Go little one!

Orsh · 07/06/2021 08:42

Good luck for ET today @StrongEagle.

I hope you will get good news @Mez12, sending positive energy.

Yes, it is my first FET (or any ET) @Gardenlady543, my EC was in April. I am not a huge fan of Oestrogen, therefore I can't wait to stop Progynova. I feel exhausted, nauseous, emotional, anxious and putting weight on on this meds.
So it's all fab 😅, I feel sorry for my partner though...

I have a lining scan tomorrow, so we'll see ...

Have a good day!

Gardenlady543 · 07/06/2021 09:24

@StrongEagle good luck with the transfer, I've been feeling really anxious as well, it's not like me at all, I've got work to distract me today which hopefully should help.

@Orsh I feel you with the oestradiol, it makes me feel so unwell, especially the nausea. I find it tends to peak at around 7 days and then my side effects settle a bit. I hope the lining scan goes well Smile

2mumlife · 07/06/2021 10:10

@StrongEagle It's not sore other than the little gasp of having a catheter up your cervix. You'll be totally fine physically afterward. Just do what feels good to you. Also yay for transfer day!

@Orsh @Gardenlady543 I feel sorry for you both, I feel totally fine on the estradiol pills.

Bluemeadowbaby · 07/06/2021 12:38

Best of luck for transfer today @StrongEagle 💕

Pingupp · 07/06/2021 13:40

How is everyone who had a transfer last week feeling?? I am 5dp5dt now.
Not testing - but boy it's killing me!!

StrongEagle · 07/06/2021 16:47

Thank you all so so so much for your messages last night and today, they really helped calm me and once I sorted out my work this morning I went into my ET as relaxed as possible.
So now I am PUPO! My little 4BC is settling in well, hopefully and now the waiting until 18th begins 🤞🤞🤞

coffeewithmilk · 07/06/2021 16:52

Good luck @StrongEagle
I'm now 5w3d pregnant. Have a scan on Saturday when I'll be 6w1d.
Woke up this morning to pink and brown spotting and now every possibility is running through my mind 😣
Still having lots of cramping too

StrongEagle · 07/06/2021 17:32

@coffeewithmilk you must be so worried, can you call your clinic for reassurance? From what I have read spotting is really common though xx

Verbena87 · 07/06/2021 19:04

Ah @StrongEagle that’s great news!

@coffeewithmilk I had a fair bit of spotting in my pregnancy - maybe see if you can get a couple of hcg checks to see if levels are still rising as they should be? Sending hugs, it is so scary every time.

Bluemeadowbaby · 07/06/2021 19:05

@Pingupp you are so strong not to test! Keep going! How you feeling? X

@StrongEagle so glad to hear everything went smoothly today, how was the trip home? Very exciting and good luck with the tww have you anything planned to keep you busy?

@coffeewithmilk keep strong lovely, is the clinic able to offer any advice? I know it's costly (isn't it bloomin all!) but could you maybe go for a private well being scan? X

OP posts:
coffeewithmilk · 07/06/2021 19:15

Thanks everyone for your replies. I have a scan on Saturday. I'll ring the clinic tomorrow if it's still there but it seems to have tapered off thank god xx

Pingupp · 07/06/2021 21:49

@Bluemeadowbaby I am just anxious! One min fine, then next min not. It's so hard isn't it.
Mon is our test day - must hold out. Had loads of cramps and aches yesterday and feeling tight in tummy tonight. No spotting or anything else to really notice or report.
My partner keeps telling me that stressing now won't change the outcome. He's of course right. Bless him- he deserves a medal!! X

Tarsette · 08/06/2021 04:17

Has anyone had progesterone levels tested after transfer? I had mine done yesterday and they came back at 95 which is a lot lower than on previous cycles (usually they are around 200) so am a bit worried. I’m on 2 pills of endometrin a day…

Tarsette · 08/06/2021 04:18

That’s 200 Mg of progesterone a day
