Clomid / wait game

Started a new thread
All welcome
So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

I have one more tablet to go. CD5 today so I start testing CD10. Going to try pre-seed and pomegranate juice this month too

@chloedancer897 you be glad to have last tablet taken.. any side effects this month yet? Haha I love Noether accent could listen to it all day! So I’m CD23 peak ovulation according to Clearblue CD12/CD13 so when could I test if I’m due period Monday/ Tuesday ish...

What dpo are you? I’m 7dpo today and feel absolutely nothing. Same as every other month 🙄 due Thursday so going to try and hold off!

@Luna1108 I’m about 11dpo though so maybe should of showed on FRER. It’s heartbreaking the BFN. High progesterone and all... :(

The only side effects are my terrible mood swings!

@Shelleybe when is AF due? Did you say Tuesday? I'd say a FRER would pick up a pregnancy now if you're 12DPO so you could test today. Good luck xo

I spent yesterday in bed feeling utterly despondent. Trying to find ways to improve my chances with supplements and diet changes etc and feeling like it’s all for nothing.

Read up that my woeful numbers mean ivf probably won’t do much so feel like giving up altogether.

Hoping to see a bfp here, it might cheer me up!!

@chloedancer897 would ya say even though yesterday absolutely nothing. It’s due Wednesday well my cycle went day longer with clomid... I don’t have frer in house used two already and both negative. Have Clearblue digital with weeks... would that be wort trying. My partner is like wait now till Wednesday no more tests... I just want to know 🙈 if no just to move on to next one. Although two BFNs has me believing no chance and no symptoms just cramps

@Luna1108 aw I’m so sorry. I totally get how you are feeling. Try not be so hard on yourself but I know it’s like what else can we do... you are doing everything you can just this bloody wait plays havoc too x

@Shelleybe I find the digital ones aren't as sensitive so if that's all you have then I would wait. They're bloody expensive too! When I had my miscarriage last year I kept getting negative tests until AF was late. I even tested on the day AF was due and it was negative. This was with the digital CB ones.

@Luna1108 it's very normal to have up and down days but keep the faith, I have seen people in work who had given up hope, tried for a decade or more, thought that they were peri-menopausal and then get pregnant! It happens when you don't think it will. We will all get there ❤️

@Shelleybe sorry not really been on for a while been so busy with work. AF arrived for me on Friday so back on clomid again. My blood tests showed I ovulated again last cycle and my thyroid has now dropped to 1.83 which is good. How are you doing?

@chloedancer897 I didn’t want to use Clearblue digital as feel like spending a fortune but did one cheap ovulation tests and not even hint of a second line. I have read they usually pick up a second line. I think between that and two BFNs I am out. AF be here Wednesday... hope we see some BFPs here soon.

@Suki2020 great news about your thyroid. I’m nearly sure I’m out again this month.. got good progesterone levels this month though so happy with that but obviously still waiting for that BFP

I decided to take a break this month. Will do a natural cycle this month and then if needed will try another cycle with clomid next cycle.

How is everyone doing? I am 9DPO today and feel absolutely exhausted. I have had to take the afternoon off work which I never do as I feel so exhausted (I just had two rounds of IVF and never took any time off). Not sure if it's a good sign or not, trying not to be too hopeful. Hope we have some BFPs on here soon 🤞

@Shelleybe yeah I’m fed up to. On cycle 4 now with clomid. Feels like it’s never going to happen. I have a hospital appointment in a couple of weeks, not sure what will happen next though. Do you know how long the wait is?

@Suki2020 I totally get it. It’s like never a bloody BFP. I so wish to see someone get one here I think give us all a boost and be so happy for any of us after such a battle. No idea how long the wait. Are ya having much side effects? I’m all over the place and worse on the TWW x

@Shelleybe so sorry AF is here. Be kind to yourself. I always treat myself to a lush bath bomb and have a really warm bath when AF comes xo

Aw thanks @chloedancer897 bit of downer. Starting clomid again tonight... I just feel like will it ever happen... this is it so... will be looking into IVF... have also booked that HSG test but no idea when it will be... how are you doing?

@Shelleybe hopefully it's not too long a wait for you to get it. A friend of mine got pregnant right after her HSG, she must've had a blockage.

I'm CD10 now so started OPKs today and back to regular BD which feels monotonous and I couldn't be bothered 😂 I might take a break entirely next month, I don't want to waste this month as it's my last month of clomid. (I have 6 months supply but I always said I'd only try it for 3 months). The first month I took it I had headaches and bloating but have had no symptoms at all this month

Update from me ladies.

Got my CD21 results (I did them separately through medichecks not through clinic) and it came out at only 21 so I panicked! Called my clinic and they asked me a bunch of questions and in the end they’ve told me that next month I’m to start progesterone from 1DPO. I had it at the ready in case of a BFP but no such luck this month, the spotting has started and AF will be here tomorrow undoubtedly.

So yeah. Deflated. Worrying that my body won’t even do the only positive thing I had going for me, ovulating.

2 more months of clomid and onto IVF.
