So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Luna1108 that's so strange since you previously reacted so well to the clomid! Are you going to up your dose this month too? Don't feel deflated. I'm sure we all have anovulatory months, we just don't know as we aren't always be checking our bloods x

Aw @Luna1108 I’m so sorry. Your head must be melted with it all. I was told that too that’s why having the blood work monthly as some months may be anovulatory. Hope doing ok today... probably stupid comment...

I had accupuncture today and she goes you do know there is another fertility medication like clomid begins with an L that is more successful?! I was like HUH! She then goes do one more month of clomid take a break and go on that... my head is melted. I heard also HSG wait list is 18months! Seriously!

@Shelleybe so my Dr said it probably wasn’t anovulatory, just a weaker ovulation.

Irrelevant as today is CD1 😔 so here I go again!

The ‘L’ drug is letrozole. It’s only more effective if you have PCOS, but it has less side effects than clomid. The reason they give clomid is there’s been significantly more research done on it. Letrozole is first and foremost a cancer drug.

Can you tell I’ve spent months and months researching everything?!?! Head spinning amount of information.

@Luna1108 aw thanks for that cause I was like why aren’t we being told... I’m so sorry as that’s so frustrating to be told after doing everything all month. I know what you mean about research but I have to admit you are fountain of knowledge haha! So hopefully taking it on CD1 will make a difference for you. I’m taking my second tablet tonight. I wish I could just switch off from it. I swear all I see right now is people pushing buggies... are you going to do the blood work again this month. I’ve supposedly one more cycle of this and then it will be on to IVF... I wish we could just see BFPs in group honestly it would lift me so much and know this clomid works...

@Luna1108 what DPO are you today? I've seen threads on here where women get their bloods back and they're really low and they get pregnant anyway! You're not out until you're out

@Shelleybe no worries! I will answer anything I can 😆 maybe make all those hours and hours of reading worthwhile.

I’m still going to take it CD2-6, so starting tomorrow. How are your side effects?

@chloedancer897 I asked about going up to 50mg but my Dr said absolutely not. So still on 25mg!

I am CD1 today, af came with a vengeance. I’m in agony 😭 clomid has made the first day of af so much worse - seems a bit mean to be honest lol!

@Luna1108 I'm so sorry. My period is awful on clomid too and really long 😔 are you going to take 50mg anyway? What was his reasoning behind saying no?

@Shelleybe I'm already over this month. I started OPKs and BD and I'm just done with it all. We got our house so the IVF money is gone. I'm ready to just close the door on it all now. It feels like an impossible dream

@chloedancer897 so she said no because when I did 50 I got 4 fully grown follicles and she doesn’t want me doing that again. They were happy with 25. Plus I’ve got 2 more months at 25. If I took 50 this would be the last month!

@Shelleybe I am well and truly fed up. I counted how many pregnant friends I have. 8. Can’t take it much longer. I cried at work yesterday. I’m a disaster zone!

Just reread that you’ve got 18 month wait for a HSG?! Why?!

@Luna1108 no idea why the stupidly long wait. Where I am it’s done in one hospital and nearest next hospital is 2 hours away. Maybe the private fertility clinic do it too. Gynaecologist referred me to hospital... aww I totally get it. It feels like I keep sending congrats to someone or buying baby gifts. So hard! Yeah I get why 25mg cause what happened but maybe if anything you could double for last month if needs be

@chloedancer897 have you had any peak in OPKs yet. Aww so hard as ya have to feel excited for house but like torn. Let’s just have absolutely everything crossed we see your BFP here very very soon. I’ve honestly never wanted so badly to see a load of BFPs as I do for all of ye...

@Shelleybe I feel the same way. I want to open this app and see a lovely BFP on here! It's bittersweet about the house, and I feel selfish even suggesting that. I know I'm so lucky to be in this position and my children are so excited. I think it's just time for me to move on with me life.

@Luna1108 that makes sense. Are you doing 2 more rounds of clomid then starting IVF? How do you feel about it all?x

@chloedancer897 I feel sad, for want of a better word! I grew up fearing this would happen to me but friends said oh don’t worry etc etc. But here I am. I just want one 😢

I’m currently CD3, so just took me 2nd dose today. Got this round, and the next one. Then ivf.

@dragonfly1978 I’m so sorry, it can be soul destroying. I’ve stopped taking tests because I can’t face any more!

Any advice ladies... offered vaccine but it will be 10dpo and I’m like don’t want anything to jeopardise anything... what would ye do?

@Luna1108 I know, it's heartbreaking isn't it? We never anticipated having problems. At least you have the plan of IVF going forward x

Just to let you all know I am pregnant. Went back to the gynaecologist as after the bleeding stopped I tested again and got a strong bfp. She did an internal scan and was able to see the baby and hear the heartbeat! Bleeding is unexplained but could be due to the progesterone I was on. So there is hope ladies. Good luck to you all!

@Happinesscomesfromwithin I scrolled back and read your whole story again, it feels like an age since you got that BFP. You must be about 6-7 weeks now? I'm so over the moon this has worked out for you and those beautiful twins will be big sisters! I'm sure you can't wait to tell them xx

yeah i m doing well sometime i am reading messages but its same for everyone nothing to write hoping everyone get bfp its my third cycle know i m hopeless i don't think i will get this cycle bfp if i didn't get last 2 cycle i m not working i never work but i m thinking to start work in few month and collect money for ivf because i dont know how many cycle i need it .

happy for u congratulation i was reading message hoping that atleast 1 get positive so its give hope to other so happy for u and it give me little hope that may be its work this last time .
