So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@chloedancer897 does FRER have be first urine or any time of day?

@Shelleybe I have honestly slipped into an almost constant state of feeling sad. Had a HUGE panic that I was wasting time doing clomid and should be going in for ivf. Still worrying to be honest. Husband is understanding but it’s hard when it’s not ‘happening’ to him.

@Luna1108 thank you... he so doesn’t get it... it’s hard if it’s sad down or emotional he is just annoyed. I bought FRER I’m 6 days out but not sure do I need wait till tomorrow...

@Shelleybe it has to be FMU when you're testing early. When do you think you'll test?
Clomid makes me awful. I cry all the time and get irrationally angry too.

@Shelleybe resist the urge this early. It'll be a wasted test as it won't show anything. Can you even wait until Sunday? It's hard once you have them! I've stopped buying them because if they're there I'll just use them 😂

@chloedancer897 I tested negative on first response early in 6 days out maybe 7... :(

@Shelleybe it's too early to test. Ideally wait until 11-12 DPO and test first thing x

@chloedancer897 prob should wait till about Sunday morn. Lots of cramps but that could be just high progesterone. It actually feels like someone is leaning on my tummy... probably nothing. Feeling super emotional and this whole journey makes you feel so alone

@Shelleybe I find the last week of the TWW the worst. It's a total rollercoaster. Try to destress as much as you can and distract yourself if you can too. You're not alone. We are all here behind you supporting you x

@chloedancer897 thanks Chloe. I think curl in ball tonight just cramps and so teary... I feel so deflated and it’s not even period yet if I’m making sense... thanks a mil for support x

Not sure I’d stay sane without this group to vent in! Everyone I know has no idea what this is like, thank god for you ladies 💕

@Shelleybe it's ok to have days like that too. Nothing can prepare you for this journey. Nothing could teach you how to deal with it all. I have to say, we are strong and we have all been through so much. We clearly are fighters and these little babies when they come will have the strongest mums in the world!❤️

Every month this clomid turns me into a raving lunatic. I literally threw a hissy fit at DH over NOTHING and I'm too proud to tell him that he actually hasn't done anything wrong so now I'm sulking in my room. It really makes me angry and I don't know why? Only 2 more days left though thank goodness. This is definitely my last cycle on clomid.

Aw @chloedancer897 I so get it. Are you ok? I slept in spare room. Tummy so cramps and felt so annoyed with boyfriend.. clomid!!!!!

I hope you're ok. Do you normally get cramps before AF or is this new?

This is our last round of clomid and IVF now not happening as we bought a house. I'm still on the waiting list for NHS but was told in feb it would be 24 months. We will keep trying but I'm not willing to keep trying the clomid long term

@chloedancer897i get cramps usually day before AF so this is early but I had bit cramping last month and blamed the clomid. I’m so emotional I’m like really teary and it’s still few days to go...

Aw congratulations on the house. I’m so sorry about IVF. It’s so hard. It’s so hard that it’s one or other. My partner said it’s babies before he would marry me because of my age so I really feel pressure at 37. Like he basically said it has to be ivf next... I feel so exhausted and wrecked so I understand the pressure your feeling. Have you Clearblue opks for this month? Could you up the clomid or take extra day I dunno? I’m only booked for three rounds so next week would be my last round then waiting game for IVF. I feel like an absolute failure. Can you push for your name on IVF waiting list if you have to. Are you on 50mg clomid? Is side effects putting you off any more rounds? I see people do 6 I just can’t imagine effects on the body x

@Shelleybe hopefully the cramping is a good sign. Have you had your AMH tested? Age is not the only issue, your egg reserve might be fine! I'm 36 in June, and my two other children are 13 and 8 so I feel the pressure to have another one soon or not at all.

I have a 6 month supply of clomid but I'm stopping after this month. I think I'm ovulating fine. Any time I've checked I have anyway.

You sound like you're under intense pressure. Can you talk to your OH and tell him to understand how difficult this is and time pressures don't help?

@chloedancer897 I’ve tried he doesn’t understand clomid I think he looks at it like a paracetomal and not realising effects it actually has if you get me. It’s kinda hard as I have never been married or kids so basically it’s like this better work or maybe he will be gone. He has always been in relationships with people with kids so like he has done the whole playing family and wants his own... but it’s just so hard on me and no one knows we are trying... I kinda hoped he would of proposed but he is like no IVF money etc he is a good guy just the whole thing is starting t to wear on me...I just feel like a bursting bubble but I’m range of emotions right now. I was crying watching videos on Instagram earlier 🙈

Would you continue clomid while you wait? I know hoping cramping is something but ya know the constant BFNs ya kinda expect them... (is that awful) I think I be more shocked now if ever got a BFP... sorry right negative at mo need cop on. Have you done any blood work (you probably told me this) gynaecologist is telling me important every month to have it done x

@Shelleybe I didn't do bloods last cycle because I forgot but I'll do it this cycle.

Have you had AMH tested? It sounds like he's putting a lot of pressure on this and clomid is not always the answer either. It needs to be enjoyable too for you both and exciting. Sometimes TTC can feel like a chore

@chloedancer897 yeah you are right. It’s like when can you test and when is your period due and I just feel ball of pressure. Haven’t had AMH done. I was told have to with IVF so sit organise it soon. IVF is private here in Ireland so have pay anyway. Did you have AMH done?

@Shelleybe didn't realise you were in Ireland! I'm in N Ireland. I was private too but I paid to have investigations before going down the IVF route so we both had all investigations done.

@chloedancer897 yeah we did the same. Ahhh only up the road so ha! Are you finished tablets now this cycle
