So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

I’m due tomorrow AF... but has gone day or two late on clomid.. won’t be testing early as zero symptoms so not very hopeful.. how’s everyone doing x

Anyone get bad skin from clomid?? Starting with odd spots I usually only ever get one spot before AF now on day cd19 and have full on clusters of pus spots on face and there very sore?!

@chloedancer897 thanks Chloe. Woke up with cramps though... think aF coming 🙈 not sure if should just be trying sort IVF or what. Have one more round of clomid feels a bit pointless. When are you due to start IVF or have apt

@lastbany I got a lot of spots cycle 2 so don’t worry they calmed. How you feeling

@chloedancer897 thats exciting, there's another thread called 'ivf first timers- june 2021 protocol' you might find that useful as you're signing consent next month. Im on that too.

@Shelleybe my consent apt is in July. I think it goes pretty quickly after that! We started the process privately in November so get your name down now as there are big waits. You can change your mind at any time. I just continued with clomid while I was waiting but always said I was only going to do 3 rounds of it.

I’m out guys AF here... do I do another round or what’s the point.... totally fed up Clomid feels like waste if ovulating and unexplained infertility

@Shelleybe I'm so sorry. That's exactly how I felt. You could take a cycle off with no stress and see how you are?

@chloedancer897 I’m heartbroken :( I don’t think I’ll ever be called Mum... I think my partner is younger by two years he should just go off meet someone younger who doesn’t seem have these issues...

Just picked up my last cycle of clomid... it’s literally feels like waste of time at this stage... I couldn’t feel any more down at the min... huge pressure and failed again... sorry for moan just tears rolling and nobody to talk to about it all

@Shelleybe please don't feel this way. Your partner is with you because he loves you. I felt the exact same way and then I just conceded and booked the private IVF. No matter how it happens, we will be mothers xo

@Shelleybe so sorry you’re feeling down. I’ve have a horrible week of crying for the same reason. Should just tell my husband to find someone who can give him a baby, because I’m not managing it 😢

I’ve got 1 round left. BUT the last time I got my prescription they accidentally gave me too many tablets.

So.. I have 4 full (50mg) and 1 half (25mg) tablet left. I know this might seem insane but as it’s my last shot, can I take 4 dosages of 50mg and then 1 dose of 25mg? Or will that totally mess me up if not all 5 tablets are 50mg?

Think I’m just panicking at the thought of ivf so wanting to give my last chance the best go possible!

@Luna1108 with your history of overstimulation it's a risk. Obviously it's up to you, did you ovulate ok the last cycle? I'm actually really excited for IVF now. This month I've been so chilled. No OPKs, no timing BD, no temping. Having a date for treatment has given me some hope again.

Thibk I'm about 10 days po but think I will wait for AF not rush to test with the terrible long cycle last time x

@chloedancer897 I know. My husband said the same. But I think I’m just grasping, because 25mg hasn’t worked for 3 months.

So hoping that if there’s 4 follicles again, at least 1 will stick! I would LOVE twins so I’m totally ok with that.

Do you know what your timelines are? I’m wondering whether to get the ball rolling in case this next round doesn’t work.

@Luna1108 I know how you feel. I have another 3 months of clomid left and I did debate whether to just take 100mg this month. In the end I decided against it because I'm clearly ovulating and that isn't the issue. You just have to do what's right for you. I'd 100% take twins too!

I went privately in Feb, they told me the waiting time was 3 months, I'm only getting my consent appointment now for July. It has taken longer than I thought. I think once I have the consent appointment, depending on where I am in my cycle, it'll all go pretty quickly from there. So fingers crossed

Is anyone close to testing? Trying to wait for AF as hate the negatives! But you know what it's like!!!

@lastbany I’m 12dpo today but had a stark white bfn 😢

So called clinic and waiting for them to get back to me to tell me to stop the progesterone.

@Luna1108 hi I'm cd22 I'm not sure when I ovulated I think around 12/14 as I didn't track this time! So I don't know if to test or of to just wait! I had a 66 day cycle with clomid last time 😂😂 I've had cramping today and pat couple days noticed a thicker creamy dish charge (sorry) apart from that 🤷‍♀️

@lastbany 66 days, gosh! Did your Drs tell you why it might have happened? I’m surprised they didn’t give you anything to help you get it started!

I called my clinic today, they want me to do 2 more rounds of clomid now, not just 1. No idea why!

@Luna1108 no the clinic were shit! Had the prog boos test today but from my doctors I finished with clinic! So last lot of clomid this round so we will see if not I'm giving up lol
