So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

Hi @Happinesscomesfromwithin. I’m on 50mg days 2-6 and now on CD19. I had bad cramps at start and also bloated, tired and was a little bit down. I feel ok now though. I know every body is different but hopefully side effects subside

I'm on day 3 of taking my pill today and yesterday I came home from work, fell asleep and didn't wake until the morning! Didn't even eat dinner! I feel very bloated and gassy with it too. It seems to be quite normal x

I'm on 50mg.

I'm hoping it will subside the further along in my cycle I get! Hope everyone with side effects feels better! Have any of you been prescribed perogestrone to take in the second half of your cycle? I don't have any progestrone issues however my gynae said it's good as an added boost. I'm dreading taking that though as I left suffer with be PMT and apparently that is PMT on steroids.

@chloedancer897 @dragonfly1978 sorry! I'm on nights again! Lol so I'm now cd23 and we haven't dtd since cd15!!!! We fell out and then our shifts juat didn't match up! Nightmare! So I'm thinking if I have ovulated at "usual" time 12/14 I could be in with a chance! I took both. Ovulation test and preg test this morning (both cheap ones) and both were neg lol
@dragonfly1978 when did you ovulate which xd? I actually messed up abs took cd6/10 very annoying but hey happened!
So I have got such strong cramps abs have done yesterday and today today deffo getting stronger I'm usually 28/30 day cycle with off long cycle in but thinking wouldn't usually get cramps so early for AF as not really due for at least 5 days? Think I might test again Sunday but I'm not hopeful as I feel when we fell out would have been smack bang in middle of my ovulation xx

@lastbany I took it days 5-9 but didn't ovulate until day 15 which is very late for me however they do say you ovulate 5-10 days after taking the last tablet so I guess I should have expected it. We managed to dtd on cd13,14 and 15 but not after that as both got an awful cold / flu bug and also had a fight then! 🤞for both of us! I am going to try and hold out until a hopefully missed AF to test as two years of BFNs have taken their toll on me!!

@dragonfly1978 yep it's awful! I know the feeling! What xd are you know sorry?? I'm praying for a ovulation of xd 12 haha but I know it's unlikely!!

Is there anyone finding it really hard to have a huge row with partner and be going through this. Feel so upset right now

@Shelleybe ye it's awful. We fell out cd15 and still aren't in good terms we agreed to just dtd for sake of baby and not missing another month but after cd15 we been ships in th night! Cd23 now still not dtd since then! I'm thinking I'm well past it! Considering getting ontouch with clinic to try one more clomid round next af because I know I can't be preg! (Was ment to only do 1 round for own personal reasons) don't want to do another but I think we blown this round!! I've not had it easy with the cramps mood swings stress etc so don't want to do again b don't want to regret it if af shows x

Thanks @lastbany. Yeah we just had huge row and honestly don’t know whether I’m over sensitive or if he is just being a twat. I feel so annoyed and like this is the wait time and right now just want to be on my own. So hard maybe ye should try one more round just on 50mg dose for ye if neg test. When are you going test? I think I need wait till next Wednesday due day.. right now I’m like after going through clomid cramps, my skin is literally broken out so bad.. worse than ever, tired, bloating and he is just not bothered... sorry just needed to vent!

@Shelleybe just checked if I have a 29 day cycle which flo is predicting (I know most time wrong) that would be Thursday so similar! I have awful bloating I'm hungry all time ( on steroids though so not helping) weeing all time and had awful heart burn last night! I have some tests I am tempted but sick of seeing bfn!

@lastbany eeek that sounds positive... aw everything crossed for you. When feeling symptoms too ya would be wanting to test like every day even early 🙈

@Shelleybe I came off nights this morning saw Prince Philip had died was crying eyes out! Haha seriously it's sad but her wasn't my grandparent 😂😂 don't know what's wrong we me! The bloat is the worse I have ever had!!!

Aw ok @lastbany not just me thank God. He has zero sympathy I made a comment cause he has to do something tomorrow night for family and I should said nothing and now it’s huge row. He has left house ... awful... my hormones feel right now all over the place and I’m covered in spots 🙈 total mess!

Ye could be af for me! @Shelleybe my bloat is unbareble and my work uniform is so tight round tummy for my 13 hour shift! Lovely

@lastbany that’s such a long shift! Aww no way! You have so many symptoms eeeeeek! The wait game uh! Plus arguing I’m just all over the shop! It’s hardly going to be a lovely time if we aren’t in good place.. 😞

@Shelleybe ye I dreaded going back after mat leave we the covid etc but we surgical doing "should " only get clean patients lol!
Only doing two shifts a week at minute start bacj theee soon which I dread! It's nice been out two nights a a week three will kill me lol ye I just don't know if clomid or what !

@lastbany it’s so hard to test before because you don’t know if gave enough time for implantation which makes it head wreck waiting for AF. That’s hard going the work fair play. I’m out waiting to go back now over next couple weeks but need a bit of routine

@lastbany @Shelleybe at least it’s not just me having a fall out! We didn’t dtd the exact time we should have done (between the two scans I had where I ovulated in between) and I was furious/upset. They don’t get it do they 🙄

@lastbany it sounds like you have so many symptoms! I’ve been starving but then feeling nauseous when I eat. I told myself I wouldn’t try and connect dots that didn’t exist but of course I googled. Literally impossible to have symptoms yet haha 😆

@Luna1108 haha google would be me too! It’s so hard not to. Uh that’s terrible right at time ya need be closest and after going through clomid and side effects and check ups 🙈 your head be wrecked

We aren’t talking. I’m gone to bed upset. Just uhhh! I feel so frustrated because I feel like before clomid I was like look here is list of symptoms of possible side effects and that I’ll try my best not to be annoying but need your support as obviously it’s hormones into body. Right now I have load spots on my face I don’t break out like that to that extent so you can physically see that my body is like uh! So just wish he understand.. na watching golf and couldn’t be bothered!

@Shelleybe thankfully we made up the next day. Getting the ovulation news helped a lot I think, like it rekindled the joint TTC aim.

I’m sorry you guys are still finding it difficult though, it’s not nice at all. Especially when you’re feeling down because of all the side effects. We’re really putting ourselves through it aren’t we.

Here’s hoping all of us don’t need to use it again!

Clomid has been causing havoc hasn't it!? My mood is all over the place. Not to mention the tiredness and bloat. It's hardly conducive to baby making is it!?

Glad to hear we are all on the same boat. I wish the men could understand what it's actually been like for us and be a little more understanding!

Fingers crossed for the girls testing next week. I'm so hopeful for you all. Get guzzling that Pom juice!

I'm on day 9 of my cycle and feeling super crampy. Will start with the ovulation tests today.

Have any of you ladies had your AMH tested? If so can I ask what the results were?
