So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Luna1108 fingers crossed! So had both follicles gone? How exciting!!! Haha 😆 I'm just fed up lol cramps keep getting worse then easing cm dried a little so I think prob ovulated and think a missed we dates! Very annoying as he knew was only doing one round clomid! But we see af due in a week x

@Luna1108 hopefully you're covered. What are the chances that people who get pregnant actually DTD right at ovulation?! Slim to none! At least the follicle debacle is over and you can rest easy knowing you've actually ovulated. Fingers crossed for you!

@lastbany I think I ovulated quite late last cycle. And clomid definitely dries up your CM so you never know. When is AF due?

@chloedancer897 wow feels it goes round fast! I have been having cycles every 28/33 days so never quite sure but I usually go for 30! I'm on day 20 x

@lastbany oh actually I’m not sure if it was both! The nurse just said “oh fantastic, you’ve ovulated” and didn’t say much more about it. Based on the sizes and the fact I’ve ovulated naturally probably means just one, but that’s a guess!

Do you think you ovulated in the last couple of days? If you think AF is a week away that probably means you ovulated a week ago and you’d be fine for bd timing? Sorry if you’ve answered that already!

@chloedancer897 thank you! Now I’m just wondering how am I going to make it 2 weeks 😩 already counting down to when I can test. Although I did tell myself I’d wait until AF does(n’t) come.

@Luna1108 I'm just going on my usual cycles which are Liek 28/33 days 😵 with the clomid dunno if will make me ovulate later? So it's a guessing game! Lol not sure what to think! So AF could be 8 days away or 13!! Haha which obv means I could be ovulating now? Doctor was pretty certain you deffo ovulate 14 days before AF the prior stage can be any length ! So if I'm due a 33 dayer may mean i ovulate tonight I stopped we sticks as ran out lll

@lastbany both parts of your cycle can be more or less than 14. Your luteal phase will always be the same though (give or take a day), do you know how long it usually is?

@Luna1108 absolutely no idea 😵 I've never tracked it that much tbh never temped etc just always thought it's too stressful, tbh never had a problem getting pregnant or keeping a pregnancy (been very lucky) up until now ! Been anout 10 months with nothing! She just dm said I would always ovulate 14 days before AF , not that that's any good lol Caus how would you know how long cycle will be 😂😂

Just to throw this in there too most people have a luteal phase that only changes by 1-2 days max so like 13-14 days or whatever but mine ranges between 9 & 17 days! Which I'm talking to the doc about tomorrow as I know that's not right!

@lastbany that’s just the ‘normal’ numbers. Ovulate day 14, start period 14 days later - 28 day cycle. Most women are nothing like that! I’m tracking as we’re trying for our first and I wanted all the information I could get, see if it could help figure out what’s wrong 😢

@Marvellouslymadmum wow that’s such a variation! Have you had your thyroid checked? Progesterone levels? (Sorry if you’ve already said this!).

@Luna1108 I've had my progesterone checked last month but it was a really unusual month and I got loads of ov pains plus really sore boobs in the Lp which I never get them my progesterone was 64 so really high but not had thyroid checked yet, I'm trying to get a docs app this week so I can speak to them again and see what they say

@Luna1108 no way! How annoying ! She was adamant too! Just shows 😵 so I have no idea lol supise be a wait game to see if Af shows! Caus I would have no idea when to test 😂😂

@lastbany yeah follicular phase can be different lengths! Mine is 15/16 days then my luteal is 11/12 days. So I’m not the average 14 and 14! Maybe assume the latest possible ovulation? Then either AF will come or you can test and it’ll be a bfp 😊

@Marvellouslymadmum that is high progesterone! Needs to be 30 to prove ovulation, so did they say it probably wouldn’t be progesterone? What about pcos?

My cycle has really levelled out since starting thyroid medication. It was always +/- 3 or 4 days but since thyroid meds, it’s now +/- 1 day. @Suki2020 this is another effect of the thyroxine! Just looked on my tracking app and noticed it 😊

@Luna1108 the TWW is awful. Try to occupy yourself. I became obsessive! I'm on 50mg still. I don't know if this cycle will be monitored. I haven't heard from my doctor yet

@Luna1108 I have t spoken to them about the Lp yet as I hadn't actually noticed it before! I'm hoping to speak to them tomorrow or Thursday and see what they say. I'm going to ask them to check my thyroid but my other theory is pcos

Sorry for tmi! But today cramps are bad and cm omg let's just say I am very wet!! Keep thinking come on AF very suprised! Are we a deffo that clomid messes with cm or could this be a good sign that ok ovualting late?

@lastbany do you think you’ve already ovulated? What cd are you on? My friend had cramps and lots of cm and 2days later she got her BFP

@Suki2020 really?!! Never even thought about tht I'm cd21 usually ovulate 12/14 but have done so 17/20 before! So I don't know!!! I took clomid 6/9 so just assumed I may ovulate late due to taking that? But maybe I did /didn't haha I'm so confused

@lastbany they say you normally ovulate 5-10days after your last clomid tablet. My last two cycles though I’ve ovulated later than 10days after my last pill. I would say dtd just in case you are ovulating now. My cm hasn’t changed since taking clomid.

I can't stop weeing! Liek a race horse! Lol this abs always been my tell take preg sign very early on! But since having my daughter every month we try I seem to get it and obv never was preg!! Think it's a waiting game for me as I feel I lost out on the most important week! Can't confirm ovulation due to lack of strips etc (I'm so organised lol) so I don't know where I am haha

@lastbany sounds promising if you know your signs!

I always find the 2WW horrible, because all the ‘pregnancy’ signs are also AF signs. Like a mean nature joke!

@Luna1108 deffo! I feel mixed up because usually obv we start dtd around day 10then few days later your in the 2ww bit with clomid it's like from day 5 so I feel like it's been forever and I'm only cd21! So ye if I ovulated on cd12 be perfect because we dtd lits around that date. But I just feel like I ovulated way later (don't ask me why) it's just my head saying it! But if I did cd12 I would be 10 days down so pissibly be getting symptoms! Wishful thinking I think lol

@lastbany eek! So hard not to get hopes up but I’m keeping my fingers crossed, you never know!

When are you going to test??

@lastbany how many days do ya think you are post ovulation. I have zero symptoms now ... no cramps no sore boobs nothing. I’m 8 dpo we think... this wait is so hard

@Luna1108 honestly in my head I was thinking in a week lol my cramps are getting really painful tonight so it's like is it ovulation or AF or preg cramps ! It's deffo one lol
Hate getting the bfn makes me so mad and upset so I just don't know! Think I'll deffo leave till after weekend see how things are just looked we haven't dtd from cd14/cd21 and won't be doing due to on nights till sat now so if not already took I'm deffo put this month wbu?? When will you check x

@lastbany I’m only 2DPO so I’ve got what feels like forever to wait. I’m trying not to test early and just wait til AF does/doesn’t (hopefully) arrive. Like you say, the BFNs are devastating!

Anyone do anything different to ‘help things along’? I’ve read pineapples, pomegranate and Brazil nuts.
