Clomid / wait game

So basically today is my last day of clomid my first and only round!
So taking ovulating sticks , I'm cycle day 10
Wondered if anyone is in similar boat and want to keep each other company along the way!!!

@Luna1108 it's strange you haven't ovulated yet with all those big follicles! I've never done a trigger but it's quick at least. Would your DH do it for you? I assume it's given intramuscular? i really hope this month is it for you!x

@lastbany this TTC stuff is so stressful. Don't count yourself out yet. Have a break from it today. Try to take the pressure off you both for a bit x

Blood work came back meaning no trigger shot (for today anyway!). They need me back tomorrow for yet another scan.

Unfortunately they don’t do bloods on Saturdays so I have to take some OPKs with me to check LH. They called today to say they wanted me back in because my estradiol dropped then rose again, like I’m supposed to know what that means!!

This all seems so complicated.

@Marvellouslymadmum have you looked on medichecks? They have an AMH test on there and loads of other tests. I’ve used them for progesterone and thyroid checks.

@lastbany ah hope you are ok. That’s so hard and ya feel time pressure. We were same earlier ok now.... maybe like Chloe said day off and back tomorrow

@chloedancer897 awww I hope it’s implantation and not AF. I’m still hoping for you. I did days 2-6 and I think today’s cramping might of been ovulation as all right side low down pull

@Marvellouslymadmum if you know what days are best for you and you feel safe and that. I don’t feel particularly monitored but will see as I have blood tests this Tuesday...

I’m not sure how much more I can take this month of dtd it’s like I wish I knew ovulated for sure so could take few days off for both our sake

@Shelleybe god I know and cais we didn't dtd yesterday I'm pissed making it worse. And working nights tonorow so sat/sun prob out x

@chloedancer897 that's my trouble, I've been trying for so long and I know the gp won't prescribe it, my only chance is a private clinic but like you say I know they're reluctant to give it!

@Luna1108 I believe oestriadol is a form of oestrogen. Yes that's what I'm thinking I can get my amh done there and my afc scan done privately then go from there!

@lastbany I get so cross with my oh when he doesn't want to dtd around ov time! Hope you get it sorted soon

@lastbany maybe give it bit time and make it romantic tonight? I know so hard just feels like process and pressure too

@Shelleybe luckily rang I don't have to do much to make him give in it's just hard because I hate him today haha swear could be the clomid lol I've been a bitch since a started on it!!!

You would think it would be easier and more supportive system with trying and people who are finding it hard

@Shelleybe I would've thought so too, being something so important to people it can break relationships and give you serious anxiety and depression if you can't have that one thing that you want more than anything!

Aw exactly @Marvellouslymadmum whole heap of pressure under people. It is medical if can’t conceive or trouble conceiving

@Luna1108 oh no on trigger shot. They really should give more info. Have you done any opks

So follicles are still holding strong and they’ve said they’re happy for me not to trigger as my lining is thickening so they know my hormones are doing their job.

Back AGAIN Monday to confirm ovulation and hopefully then they’ll leave me alone 😂

@Luna1108 this is great news for you!! Busy weekend 😂😂 I'm so poses doff! My cm has ramped up again and we haven't dtd since Thursday he is working now and will get in just in time to swap kids! Then I'll be at work! Tomorow as soon as I'm in from work 830am! We are travelling to my parents so have time for a shower and that's all! So be lucky to dtd tomorow feel like I've totally missed the window we started string once a day and now feel like gonna miss so mad!

@lastbany ah no fecking timing... I think with all lead up sometimes ya be so fed up by time actually is ovulation too. Hope ye get a chance

@Shelleybe I have noticed sore boobs before. I think the rise in progesterone causes it. So hopefully you've ovulated! Are you scheduled for bloods to confirm ovulation? (I'm sorry if you've already answered this!)

@lastbany so sorry you haven't had a good few days and now you're working nights (they're the worst!) it sounds like you're putting a lot of stress on yourself so try not to panic too much. However, coming home in the morning from nights is a good time to DTD!!

Update from me. Still no AF. It's due between yesterday and Tuesday depending on when I ovulated really. Still getting negative tests. Don't feel pregnant or like AF is coming. Does clomid delay your period? I've also heard AF is really heavy and painful on clomid so not looking forward to that 😔

@chloedancer897 what tests have you used. I heard it can delay it but hopefully it’s a different sign for you. I have blood work this Tuesday so will see what the progesterone levels are

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining. I’m on cycle 3 of clomid 50mg, I’m now on cd5. All our tests came back fine but I have quite long cycles so they put me on clomid as they don’t think I ovulate every cycle. Also have an under active thyroid which has just be diagnosed in the last couple of months so now on meds for that too.

@Suki2020 welcome. I've heard that thyroid levels can really affect fertility so hopefully that does the trick for you!
