Hi @Sungirl11 it's my first time too. I'm doing this solo so no ICSI though as I'm using a donor. You'll pick up some useful info here for sure.

@lucymills1234 why don’t they do ICSI with donor sperm? My bestie went solo last year and has a beautiful bouncing boy now. :)

Hi @Ofpalestsilver they may do ICSI with donor sperm, I don't know! ICSI hasn't been mentioned to me at all, which I assumed was because donor sperm is tested for motility etc so there's no male infertility factor that would make ICSI a recommended approach.

That's great for your friend! How many cycles did she have? I'm old in the eyes of IVF - 41 - so trying to stay realistic...

@BrandyM I'm now thinking it could also be some ovitrelle still in my system. Trying to stay positive!

@Roo45 yes that's possible when testing earlier than OTD. Not long to go now! I've got everything crossed for you for next week! Which day next week is OTD?

Hand the remaining FRER to your other half and ask him to hide it somewhere until OTD so you don't end up using it before OTD. Haha 🤣

Hey everyone, it's my OTD today and it was negative again on the most sensitive test. I'm taking comfort from the fact it's my first cycle and given what happened with the amount of eggs collected / only one half worked.. I'm at least a step closer to understanding why I keep miscarrying.

@Rachae I'm so sorry to hear that. As you say each disappointment should hopefully lead us closer to understanding the real issue. I hope the clinic provide you with some context as to why they think it didn't work this time so you can move forward.

I have clinic at 12 for a day 9 progress scan, stims is now making me feel really sick so I hope they say trigger tonight and egg collection on Weds.

@Rachae sorry to hear that news, but yes, do take comfort from the fact it's your first go and there will be learnings to take from it... But for now, treat yourself gently and hopefully you can take a break from the meds etc to enjoy December.
