Made a new thread because idk if it's the same for use but on the app I have to scroll millions of pages before getting to the most recent comment on the other one with having so many replies? 🤷‍♀️

We have signed everything i have been sent treatment plan it say start treament 26th of October. When I rang they said hour long appointments to check forms and show how to injected so now confused as they not letting partners in for that bit I just have to wait and see xxx

Mw050389 · 14/10/2020 06:59

We had to go to first inject reteach but when they changed protocol he didn’t have to come with me a second time, we started injections day 3 of period... I just think it depends how the days fall sometimes, they didn’t wanna scan me when I was full flow but as close as they could without it being completely disgusting I think 😂... I’ve been feeling a bit tired and bloated, part of me thinks that’s the milk! But I have been a bit emotional the last few days but I dunno if that’s the injections or just anxiety! I’m trying to keep my head right cos stress is bad! Lol easier said than done though x

Nattx · 14/10/2020 08:48

I can imagine ours turning into a nightmare cos I'll be trying to tell him what to do and he will think he knows best like usual 🙄😂. Going to set off about 9ish to get there in good time to get parked and things, absolutely hate going to appointments on my own so this will be an experience because I'll of forgot most things by the time I'm home. I'm assuming we get a sharps box with the prescription? X

Yea you get everything it’s a little daunting I’ve attached a picture of what my set up is every night lol... it’ll be easier than you think ... just remember the flick the liquid out of the needle and draw up all the liquid from the bottles... I get him to hold the bottles whilst I draw it up cos it sucks back in like a vacuum... that’s his only job now haha ... ask for a parking pass too... it’s £9.20 and lasts a month otherwise it’s £3 every visit for parking! X

Both times I've been I haven't paid the machine says out of service and nobody else has a ticket and never got a parking ticket yesterday? I assumed they had cancelled the charges with covid but god knows! I'm there now waiting for my scan x

OP posts:
Mw050389 · 14/10/2020 10:58

Oh I’ve paid the last few times I’ve been lol charges are most definitely back on, think I saw your name on the bloods list this morning haha x

Nattx · 14/10/2020 11:18

I'm still here. Been up in the waiting room for the past 30 minutes because xray hasn't sent the report up 🙄 x

Oh what a nightmare! I had a few issues with pharmacy... they’re an absolute pain in the arse at times... ended up sat waiting for them to get me something they’d missed off my prescription when it went through the day before... turned out to be one bottle of saline solution 😳 I was livid lol and my partner had to leave To go back to work because they’d taken that long! Nurse checked on him 3 times to see if I was back 🙈

Nattx · 14/10/2020 14:08

Aw bloody hell! I put my prescription in yesterday and went back today after the scan and they couldn't find mine but found his one little box of antibiotics baring in mind mine was a carrier bag full 😂 I'm glad to be home. Start injecting tonight between 6-8pm as bloods and scan all came back fine. They've started me off on 2 amps which is usually the lowest dose due to my pcos and ohss, atm without any medication I've got 25 follicles in one ovary and 18 in the other 😬 xx

OP posts:
Mw050389 · 14/10/2020 14:30

They’re shocking aren’t they! Oh wow that’s amazing... I’m on 5 amps it’s a right fuck on 😅 I hope they reduce for tonight just waiting on the phone call. You got your bloods back really quick! They usually don’t call you until after 3pm with the results! Good luck for tonight! X

Nattx · 14/10/2020 15:39

I had my bloods done yesterday, it was my scan today because they don't do scans on a Tuesday so had to go back again today. I can imagine, I thought mixing two was bad when she was showing me lol, I'm excited but nervous at the same time and I pray I don't get any side effects! Xx

Mw050389 · 14/10/2020 15:50

Ooohhh I see! Ah you will be fine I promise! I’ve barely had any really! I’ve just spoken to them they’re keeping me on 5 amps and I start fyremadel in the morning too! Bloods on Friday again x

Nattx · 14/10/2020 18:21

What time in Friday? I'm there at 9:30 x

OP posts:
Mw050389 · 14/10/2020 19:29

8:30 Friday! I think they seem to be managing appointments quite well so that no one crosses paths atm, I’ve not seen one other person in there at all! How’s your first injection gone? X

Nattx · 14/10/2020 21:44

Mixing was an experience but managed in the end! He injected and tbh didn't feel the needle but the menopur stung a little going in, I was ready to do it myself then couldn't which I knew would happen but gonna have to try and do it myself tomorrow cos he won't be here when we start the morning ones. I seen a couple of people in today but no one yesterday xx

Well done @Nattx you got this you can do it. Thanks for the picture @Mw050389 least I know what I am heading for lv. @Racs83 good luck for yours tomorrow love. I feel like I am way behind you ladies xxxx

Mw050389 · 15/10/2020 07:15

Yea I don’t feel the needle at all! It’s the actual injecting is a bit more difficult but again it’s not too bad I don’t think... doesn’t hurt or anything... I’ve just done my first fyremadel injection... bit tougher to get through the skin but again didn’t really feel it, LOADS easier to actually inject but stinging for a while afterwards nothing to bad though! @Hoping1 it will be your turn soon! 🤞🏻

Racs83 · 15/10/2020 09:21

Morning all. First injection done. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The worst part was getting the nerve to get the needle in but once that was done it was fine. Didn't hurt. Slightly uncomfortable when the liquid went in but fine otherwise. Now the first one is done I feel better knowing what to expect.
@Hoping1 not long now for you.
Hope you all have a lovely day xxxx

Nattx · 15/10/2020 11:17

@Mw050389 I'm glad everything is going good for you so I know what to expect when it's my turn, hopefully as good as yours 🤞
@Hoping1 I feel like mines gone 100mph from my period being awol to actually injecting, honestly use the time to just relax, it will come around sooner than you think!
@Racs83 I'm the same when it comes to actually sticking it in. I was hyped to do it and then I couldn't but well done to you for actually doing it, that my challenge for tonight! Xx

OP posts:
Racs83 · 15/10/2020 21:29

@Nattx how did you get on tonight with your injection? I'm set for round two tomorrow morning lol xx

Nattx · 16/10/2020 08:23

@Racs83 I didn't do it 🤦‍♀️ it's easier said than done and I'm so jealous of use being able to do it! 😂 I'm feeling sickly though not sure if off the metformin, menopur or just my anxiety in general but feel like I could vomit all over the place and my appetite isn't the best 🤮 I'm setting off to get my bloods done in a sec. The things we do ey! How's yours going? Xx

OP posts:
Racs83 · 16/10/2020 08:30

@Nattx I'm sure you'll get there. It is easier said than done 😆. Maybe ask the nurse when you go in if feeling that bad. Hope you start to feel better. I think once this is over they'll have taken enough blood from us to create a blood bank lol. It is a lot to go through but it's going to be worth it in the end. I feel ok so far. Doing my next inj in about half an hour! Good luck with your bloods xxx

Mw050389 · 16/10/2020 08:49

I’ve just been in for my bloods and the lady said bet you’ve never had so much blood taken in your life! I was like I haven’t I feel like a pin cushion! 😂 if everything comes back ok this afternoon I should be in for a follicle scan check and more bloods Monday 🤞🏻 X

Racs83 · 16/10/2020 09:24

@Mw050389 that's great news xx

Nattx · 16/10/2020 10:11

I've had mine done too, I didn't mention the sickly feeling because I know metformin can cause it but will mention it when I call for my results but I can imagine it being normal with it all being hormonal. I'm back in Monday too for bloods and scan, like a second home 🤣 xx
