@JenniferRo28 hahah! Loving the taking things an hour at the time! I am just 3 days post transfer but i am really scared thinking that i have to test and i would like to postponed if for as long as its possible!

JenniferRo28 · 01/10/2020 10:37

@poupou i know its terrifying isnt it. How are you feeling since your transfer?

If i knew for certain AF wasn't going to show before Monday i think i would be ok waiting until Monday, but its the fear she is going to rear her ugly head at any moment that's freaking me out. I don't want to be robbed of my test day.

poupou · 01/10/2020 10:46

@JenniferRo28 its really terrifying! I am not even sure how k will do it! Just taking it a day at the time and we will see! I was feeling relatively ok, yesterday was feeling very tired with some diziness and some cramps? not really sure if it was cramps or due to constipation (sorry for this)! I started getting increasingly worried about my OTD in 10 days hahah! My heart rate is off the roof when i walk going from around 60 to 130 and believe me i walk like a 90 year old lady! I did nothing for the last two days with a very very slow walk on each day and today i am back at work!
I know exactly what you say with AF! I though due to progesterone it shouldnt arrive? Maybe i am wrong!

poupou · 01/10/2020 10:51

@JenniferRo28 i hope you feel ok and best of luck with the test whenever you take it!!!!!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 11:22

God I'm terrible, I'm already thinking when o might test 😂🤣I think that will get me through the days in between

poupou · 01/10/2020 11:38

@Minster2012 i admire of how eager you are! I wish i was a bit more like you! As i said before i am really scared to even think about it! For now i am somewhat living in a wonderful PUPO bubble of all things possible and ignoring it!

poupou · 01/10/2020 11:43

Also since i am researching the shit out of everything! I was worried about folate levels and also intake of choline! Not going crazy at all! Hence i am back at work and stressing about the amount that i have to do!

JenniferRo28 · 01/10/2020 12:33

@poupou ive been quite constipated as well up until this morning and now im the opoosite (sorry TMI) and this also happens right before AF. Ive not paid that close attention to my heart rate, its maybe up slightly but with all the panicking im doing im not surprised.

This is my first cycle so everything new to me, i have read other people saying progesterone should keep AF away but dont think it does in all cases.

I hope you day at work goes quick :) im staring at the clock willing it to be 5pm haha.

Thanks all easier to reply without a mention. I’m very unwell apparently. Fluid still on the lung that was drained and waiting for the docs to see what they say, I also have some on my right and in my pelvis with an enlarged right ovary. So right now feeling a bit crappy. But everyone is lovely here so I’m hoping I’m in good hands and they will be proactive in not letting it get to an extent.
I am just dreading the fact I might have to have another drain, it was honestly not nice at all 🙈 I feel unwell at the thought.

@Minster2012 they said they are doing everything as safely as possible just in case they have been amazing to be honest. So I don’t know 😖
Great news on you little embryo. Good luck ☺️ For tww.

@thefishthatcouldwish I’m sure the spotting means nothing, brown means old blood, you could be just having a clear out... maybe even good.

@JenniferRo28 good luck if you test how many dot are you again? It’s so hard to wait isn’t it. I may not get a choice with all these bloods and monitoring 🤦🏻‍♀️

poupou · 01/10/2020 13:25

@JenniferRo28 i know exactly how you feel! I am trying to work but still thinking of other things!!!
Its my first Time in the tww as well and i am worried about everything! For constipation i tried fybogel, prunes and all bran and it appears to work! I dont think however that constipation or not is related as other people had either one or the other and it was related to outcomes!
Not 100% sure about progesterone as this is how scientifically it should work but i heard of otherwise as well!
Take a few or a hundred deep breaths and keep on going! Smile

WeavingWandering · 01/10/2020 13:31

Been painfully obvious from day 5 it failed (cramps, searing pain for the past 24 hours like my whole pelvis is on fire ) ... clinic told me I can only stop meds if I start bleeding heavily (like last time even through they acknowledge the fact it’s failed (the pain is pretty unmistakable!)... I’m just waiting for bleeding to start so I can stop the meds and plan the next cycle.

unknownscot · 01/10/2020 14:16

Ladies, I'm making up a menopur solution just not but the syringe plunger keeps putting the solution back into the vial as it's pressurised. Any tips?
No nurses available to speak just now at my clinic

poupou · 01/10/2020 14:25

@WeavingWandering i am so sorry for this and for all the pain that you have. i hope at least the pain goes away soon. So sorry!
@unknownscot try pulling the syringe all the way to end without a needle on (it needs to be filled with some air) and then try to get the liquid as you always do!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 14:26

@poupou what's choline?? 😂

My Fitbit died 3 weeks ago not a bad thing, last time I got a BFP & pregnancy my heart rate didn't change so I'm not too fussed about that!!

@JenniferRo28 both the progesterone AND the estrogen should keep AF away, that's why my clinic were so perplexed I bled the other week at day 14 on just estrogen they said just that should stop any bleeding other than maybe odd spotting so try not to worry you shouldn't be robbed of testing!

@Fightingtobepositive ive has numerous drains, including chest drains ' know your pain & the stomach churning thought but you are doing great 🥰

@WeavingWandering sorry it's not worked for you but fingers crossed you can get onto the next cycle quickly 🤞🏻

I've just had some random sharp right hand side pains so I was bent double in front of MIL when I was picking DS out of the car seat which wasn't great, I quickly said my back up line of "one pulled my back a bit so need to be careful" but it was very weird

Fightingtobepositive · 01/10/2020 14:51

@Minster2012 really? Can I ask why you them? And how long it lasted. Hope you are ok, take it easy x

poupou · 01/10/2020 14:52

@Minster2012 its a nutrient that supports cellular growth and metabolism. I always panic about everything and nothing but if you want to have a read: Its adequate intake is recommended for pregnancy as its vital for brain development, Tissue expansion amongst others. There are studies that say its vital during the first 1000 days after conception. We usually take this with our diet like eggs but its recommended to have 450 mg per day. some evidence can be found here: nutritional-insight.co.uk/choline and on nutritional-insight.co.uk/choline-its-role-and-requirements-during-pregnancy. I was following some fetal nutritionists and they recommended it a lot so i researched it!

poupou · 01/10/2020 14:57

@Minster2012 oh sorry about the pain i hope its nothing major. Take it easy maybe for a bit? Ps: great thing about your dying fitbit i took mine off as it freaks me out and i am thinking that i walk too fast!

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 15:13

@Fightingtobepositive do you mean why I had the drains? I've had 2 sets of lymph nodes removed (from my chest and neck) due to malignant melanoma which spread to my lymph nodes then my lungs & neck and then after side effects of my chemo left me having bowel surgery I've had drains associated with a stoma and then luckily a reverse illeostomy - when I had surgery on my lymph nodes I had to hide the neck drain as my best friend couldn't look at it so I know what you mean but it gets better & honestly it's much better out than in 😂😬😳over the course of a few years 😂

@poupou oh right ok thanks, I'll not worry about that for now! I eat a lot of eggs & will see if it's a BFP first 😂

poupou · 01/10/2020 15:18

@Minster2012 ohhh honey! You ve been through so much and still going! So so proud of you and in awe!
About choline yesss dont even stress about this! Eggs are amazing!

Fightingtobepositive · 01/10/2020 15:27

@Minster2012 wow you have been through it 💜 bless you. Well done for being so strong and awesome as you are, you poor thing. Thank you for sharing xx

JenniferRo28 · 01/10/2020 16:15

@Minster2012 I agree with the others, you sound like a really strong and amazing person to go through all that and come out the other side, if you were in front of me right now i would be giving you a hug :) And thank you for explaining the progesterone thing, you've helped put my mind at ease slightly. P.S take it easy the rest of today if you've had a bit of pain.

@poupou haha that made me laugh out loud, definitely more like 100 deep breaths. I haven't heard of Choline either, that will give me something new to google tonight. Anyone looking at my browsing history the last few weeks would think im a maniac!

@Fightingtobepositive im 100000dp5dt today (which also translates to 10dp5dt) haha its killing me!

Fightingtobepositive · 01/10/2020 16:33

@Minster2012 aww bless you. But you are at the last stretch. You can do this. I should know really we had ET the same day didn’t we. I’m 10dpo too I think a week last Sunday?

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 16:36

Aww thank you, don't worry bout it, I'm very very very fortunate to still be here having been told in 2014 when my cancer came back & spread it was terminal I was then very fortunate yo be given a brilliant new immunotherapy /chemo which saved my life & has put me into stable remission since aug 2015 (but all my treatment since I was first diagnosed in 2011 did kill my fertility) but we've found ways round it, our miracle DS was carried by my best friend as a surrogate in 2017, born in 2018 as I couldn't stop my chemo & as I've said before, we only got 4 eggs, 3 fertilised, 2 embryos frozen at day 3 & one transferred to her worked first time & he's a very vocal 2 year old! But I'm a bit more faulty we think & struggle to get my lining good for our attempts for me to carry now so fingers crossed this one works 🤞🏻but we are very very very lucky with our boy.

So I'm used to getting round obstacles & nobody give up heart please for their transfers

Minster2012 · 01/10/2020 16:36

@Fightingtobepositive I only had my transfer yesterday 😂

poupou · 01/10/2020 17:02

@Minster2012 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 you are an inspiration! Fingers crossed for everything to work out! I am not a hugging person but i will definitely have hugged you now!
