... Too soon?! 😁😉

Been waiting on a FET since we were put on July's list and I've heard from our clinic this week that I've to call them when AF rocks up in October for a November FET. We had our fresh cycle in January, had a BFP, but found there was no heartbeat at the 11 week scan in March (MMC) - it's been a bit of a roller-coaster so far this year (as if covid craziness wasn't enough!).

Found having a thread to go through it all with a massive emotional support, so looking for some MN buddies to do it all again with. Good luck ladies and looking forward to 'meeting' you 🍀🙂

@MGee123 am I just 1 day behind you? I really hope I feel the same as you tomorrow!

@MF1981 @MGee123 is this an applicator for pessaries? I don't have one. An applicator sounds a lot better!!!

@MF1981 amazing news on the 9 embryos! That's VERY impressive!!

@ChicaXS how you doing on your wait? Keep busy over the weekend! I wrote a note to myself on my phone with any odd/ strange/ slight thing that I thought I might be feeling each day, including how I slept and my weird dreams etc and it helped to just get it down and out of my head and somewhere else. Not for everyone of course but it helped me while we waited. Stay strong and don't test if you've said you're not going to. At least if you wait til your OTD then you know whatever it is will be accurate.

@BambiOnIce80 hope the pessaries are going as well as they can be! God awful things aren't they. The one saving grace of the ass injection I think - and lets face it, there aren't many! Have to take it where I can so to speak!!

@SpyroC wishing you luck for tomorrow - great to have your plan in place for food and drink if not but hoping you won't need that!

Blood tests on Tues/ Thurs all went well - first hcg was 165 then it jumped to 379 yesterday so consultant is really pleased with that and the progesterone level too! @BambiOnIce80 I don't think it's the norm for the clinic to do the bloods but given it's been such hard work to get here and as he describes it - I "attract trouble" he's opting for belt and braces.
Scan will be on 7th Dec which seems ages away though clearly isn't. I find it strange that they just leave you to it but I guess there's nothing else to do right now other than take the meds and keep praying.

@MGee123 forgot to say - totally justified to use multiple tests having waited for so long!!! I'm trying to stop myself doing one every day for novelty value at the moment!!!

@unknownscot apparently they sometimes come with an applicator but I wasn’t given one sadly.

@unknownscot yes applicator for progesterone pessaries - maybe it is the brand? I have Lutigest?

@MF1981 I had EC on wed so yes 1 day ahead of you I think! I hope you start to feel better but don't beat yourself up - I think it's just luck of the draw to be honest. Keep resting and you'll feel better soon x

It's okay @unknownscot, I'm sure we're all crapping it a bit under the surface! I keep on trying to just take things one step at a time and thinking there is no reason for it not to work 🤷‍♀️🤞 might not help everyone but it is helping me a bit. Great news you've got to the point of transfer, 🤞🤞🤞 it works out and we're here to chat when you need 😊

@MF1981 I've never had an applicator. Just shove them up as far as possible!

@MGee123 the progesterone has made me a bit constipated this time too. It's annoys me as the twinges from my bowel make me fear my period is coming when really I just need to go 💩 😂🙈.

@TheGlitterFairy great news on your Beta! 🙌🏻 my clinic don't test as standard either. I had to pay extra to have them last time due to the ectopic symptoms.

@unknownscot glad to hear you have a date. Anxiety and excitement are close. That's exactly ivf a mixture of both...well thurs time around im less excited and more 🙄

Well ladies tomorrow is OTD 😳. Thank you all for your kind words 😊. Let's hope 3rd time lucky 🍀. I'm 60:40...literally the embryologist gave us a 40% chance and that's as far as I can tell. I have my junk ready but 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I'll be on the 🥬. X

Thank you so much for the reassurance and not thinking I'm crazy to go ahead when they want to cancel it! I know my chances will be a lot lower and I'm mentally preparing for it not to work, but that heartache will be the same and the heartache if it gets cancelled yet again so I might aswell try! If anything I might class it as a mock transfer so I know I won't hit any transfer problems in the future.

@MGee123 I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get a good update tomorrow and they are all progressing strongly 🤞🏼

@BonTon yey for hopefully being close in transfer, after following far to many monthly threads on here I thought I might have to move to the Dec thread! It'll be nice to have someone who's on similar dates for the TWW. I've tried beetroot juice for my last attempt in Oct but it made me sick! I'm off to Google magnesium salts though 😂 I'm like you, I'm willing to try anything 🤣

I've been pretty quiet on here as I'm on a natural cycle I've been waiting for that to happen but have caught up a bit on the thread, there seems to be a lot of progress for everyone now which is all pretty exciting. I think my FET will be first week of December and my 10 day scan is next week it's all come around so quickly. It's my first transfer and I'm excited 😊

This morning not feeling great at all (mood wise) as I have a deep feeling this cycle failed. I know we tend to get no symptoms but I have NONE- no tender breasts or CM which is common. I’m just racking my brains on to do another FET on another cycle as fresh. I know I have to be patient and wait till next week but it’s been crap. My OTD in 28 November so another week of crap.

Does anyone know it the test is negative you stop meds immediately? My clinic is shut on Saturday so don’t want to be taking meds unnecessarily and would rather my period begins so I can start again.

@ChicaXS hang on in there 💪 you can do it. I had a bit of CM from after the transfer but nothing boob wise til about 5 days after and that was only when I was prodding them and was really looking for something.

On the negative test, my clinic said if it was negative, carry on with the meds and go for a blood test that day to confirm. Would yours be open on a Saturday morning for you to go in if needed?

I’m in my gown waiting to be taken in the room for EC, I’m in so much pain, I hope it all goes ok. The nurse said once they drain the follicles, they fill with blood, so I’m unlikely to have a reduction in pain :(

And just like that I’m out of the EC, the anaesthetist did a good job at knocking me out. I think they said they got 12 eggs, which was expected as they had been keeping an eye on 11 and said potentially up to 13. I don’t know how the pain is yet as I’m lying on the bed still.
