IVF&FET June/July cycle buddies

Hi, we are starting a FET this month after a bit of back and forth with the clinic. Start downreg on Fri with ET hopefully first week of July. Wondering if anyone else cycling around the same time? X

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip it was all fine, thanks. Straightforward. But I’m already on google looking up when implantation takes place. What you you doing for the rest for the day?

I’m glad yours went well. Did they give you an embryo photo? I can’t actually believe it’s happened. Feels surreal xx

I’m just having a big cuppa and some lunch.
I need to go to B&Q later but I think I’ll have a nap first! I did a Pilates class this morning and was awake with excited nervous feeling from about half 5! Xx

I was so nervous and emotional too. But feeling calm now.
That sounds like a good balance of relaxing and also doing things to take your mind off it all. I’ve sat on the sofa watching Netflix. But might potter about the house now. So tired too.

Yep I got a photo. Was lovely to be able to show my husband. Sounds like you have a chilled afternoon planned. Magic for humans and Queer Eye are my recent Netflix binges!

Welcome to the next 2ww @BeHereNowx32 and @UncleBrynsfishingtrip - can't say there's a lot to report (by design!) except trying not to spot symptoms and trying to be busy and occupy your mind. Not sure to update on here- a week into pessaries and had a mildly upset system over the weekend but nothing much. Nothing to see and just a few twinges here and there so far.....

@JessB7777 my clinic have said that after your egg collection, you must be accompanied home by someone due to the sedation.

@SnarkWeek sorry to hear about the lining. I have been suffering with thin lining for nearly 5 years now and it is so annoying as no one really knows what causes it or how to thicken it. I had to go through a whole process of trial and error over several cycles (with lots of weird off label experiments like taking Viagra!) I found what worked for me. But in your case, I am sure the lining issue is just due to the meds they gave you for IVF. If you never had this problem before, it is the most likely explanation. A friend of mine had thin lining during her Ivf cycle but it was back to normal by time she got round to FET (1 month later), so I wouldn’t worry about it. And great news about the follicles! Focus on getting lots of great blasts this cycle!

I am 3 days into the stims, going for a scan on Thursday to see if my lining is responding!

I am worrying a bit as I am stressing about my weight. I have lost weight to have IVF. Now I'm stressing as my weiging scales have broken and I am worried that I am over maximum weight. I know if anything im slightly over.

I have medication coming Thursday and consent signing Friday.

Do not panic! If you have started the process and meds are order etc it means you won’t be weighed again. I only got weighed once right at the very beginning about 2 years ago!!

Just take each day at a time and one little thing you could try each day to keep your mind/body healthy.
Yesterday I tried a clay face mask it was cool and relaxing but took a lot of scrubbing to get off! 🤣 xx

Hello ladies, good to see new members. I have been quiet for a few days as I am either having severe headaches or I am too tired before and after work.
I have been doing bad with my down reg injections, like failing to take within the time frame every morning. I also forgot to take it on Saturday and was out of the house for over 10 hours.
My Bassline scan is a week from now, hopefully it goes well as planned.

@thefishthatcouldwish I don’t think you should worry too much about your weight , I have gone a little over aswell .
On my first cycle I got weighed twice before starting meds and on the morning of egg collection, the nurse was like just on point. I replied saying even if I was over there nothing they can do about it.😁😁
For this cycle I was not weighed at all. Like @UncleBrynsfishingtrip don’t panic at all, you can’t start meds and be asked to stop due to weight gain.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! You must be so relieved abs happy as I know you’d been waiting for the clinic to call! Yay!

My clinic gave me a pregnancy test to do and then I have to call them the next day with result (as it’s a weekend). What will happen after that will I have to go in? x

I will also have a blood test on the 15/07. Only had transfer yesterday and I am symptom spotting so much!!

How is everyone else feeling after transfer?

@BeHereNowx32 I woke up last night with sharp twinges so took some paracetamol but slept well after that. I feel fine today. How are you feeling today?
I’m just getting on like normal as much as I can. If I sitting still my mind just focuses on it so I’m distracting myself!

Planned to see friends and family to make the days whizz by quicker! Xx
