Just that really, I know it's a difficult time for so many people, but clinics shuttered just as DP finally agreed to get his semen analyisis done. My progesterone was normal, and I have regular periods, so I don't think Clomid would be an option for us. We've been trying for a year and a half, and I am 35 on Saturday.

If we do get a referral, and need IVF, how long will that take? So many questions?

@Daisz with my DD, I had light cramping 2/3 days after transfer. Then a bit steak smelled really bad 4 days after.
Last night I had light period pain, and then cramps in my back this morning. That’s all stopped for now. So, will just try to chill out lol.

Well good news on my end - we have our consent forms and once they are filled out (tonight) we will be offered our nurses appt to hopefully start in Aug 🤞🏽

@BeHereNowx32, hope the chilling out is going well! Can't begin to imagine how stressful it all is.

@unknownscot, you're at Gcrm, right? Are you able to do consents online? That's great news re hopeful August start. I sent an email off last week with some queries but yet to get a reply, at times I've found them frustrating like that (for a private clinic!)

I find I use the patient portal to ask them and they are fairly swift at returning messages.
The consent forms are all done online. You've had a consultation haven't you? If not, Have you filled out pre-consultation consents?

Hi @unknownscot, I haven't yet, I'll send a message through the portal over the weekend. I've got questions re donor sperm I'm hoping to have answered first - was going to use European sperm bank but got a little put off when ready one of the profiles and donor was a cocaine user . I know they'll be well screened, it's just more that I was thinking what else do they allow?!

@unknownscot me too Its just made me feel more us settled about it. Obviously many donors without drug use, but it has unsettled me regarding their overall selection criteria.

@Daisz hello! It’s been a tough few days. I’ve been going through waves of emotions. Feeling so adamant that this hasn’t worked, and aldo just being so so grateful for my DD!
My DH explained how stressful he is finding it, and so I feel guilty for being so negative. Actually feel ok this morning though. I don’t think the hormones help with the mood swings!
How are you feeling about Tuesday? Thanks for messaging. I’ve been meaning to get in touch!

@BeHereNowx32 sorry to hear how tough it has been. Between DH and me he is the positive one I am the negative one and I know he finds it difficult.

AFM I finally got the call from GRI and all things being well I should start IVF in August. A major worry I have is that I’ve been having some minor health issues and am awaiting results of a blood test that was checking thyroid, diabetes and for anaemia, if any of those results are “bad” I’m scared I’ll have to cancel my cycle to treat the issue and after over 3 and a half years I really can’t bear more waiting. I get the results next Friday so I’m trying to be cautious about thinking too much about my ivf start date until then (trying and failing).

@kikisparks thank you. I am so sensitive to hormones anyway! So, that doesn’t help. But either way, we will be fine.

Sorry you have the stress of the blood test results. I hope you get good news on Friday!

@BeHereNowx32 I have been thinking about you, but I also know you need space and not have everyone asking how you are every 2 minutes, because that just adds to the stress. The fact is though regardless of how you feel, you will only know when you finally get those results, and remember every pregnancy is different, so any symptoms you had last time, may not necessarily be what you feel this time around. Feeling ok about Tuesday, it has felt like an eternity in coming.

@Diasz I appreciate the messages! Just not too much to report! Been getting a bit of period pain. Which I had on my failed and successful cycles. I definitely feel calmer this morning. Seeing family today, and keeping busy.
It does feel like you’ve been waiting ages!! Hopefully all that time has made the lining nice and thick ☺️

Crikey, that 9 days seems to have gone very quickly @BeHereNowx32 (although probably not from your perspective, I'm guessing?!)! I'd convinced myself that I was getting my period last time, so was completely expecting the phone call to be a BFN... was in total shock when it was a BFP. I remember waiting for that phone call was torture, so I think next time I'm going to pee in a sterile container with FMU, go for the bloods and then do a HPT once we're back from EFREC - that way whatever the nurse tells us at lunchtime won't be such a shock! 😂 Massive good luck for tomorrow! 🍀🍀🍀

I'm a bit better than I was last time I posted, thank you 🤗 All this waiting has made us realise that if we do a single transfer with our last 5 (presuming they all make it through the defrost ❄️), then at the current rate we'll still be going through this in 2023!!🤯 Think we're going to see if we can do a double transfer when our turn comes around because we can't keep putting ourselves through this for another 3 years 😔 We want our lives back, whether that be child free or not 🔮

@BambiOnIce80 it has gone quick for me. Feel like it’s gone too quick and I haven’t got my head around things!

Hey everyone. My scan was really good today. My lining is 9.7mm so my fet has been booked in for a week tomorrow. @BeHereNowx32 I really hope all is well for you tomorrow, it is such an emotional rollercoaster just wishing you all the best. I can't believe it will be me next, hope you can give me some positive support whilst having a big fat BFP . @BambiOnIce80 thank you for thinking about me today, I really really hope you can move forward soon, I know exactly what you mean, I don't always want my life to be defined by ivf, but hoping to close that chapter of my life with at least one other positive outcome. I shall have one embryo left after this so it will feel very much that it is drawing to a close, but really hoping you get your happy ending also.♥️ hey @RonRon1 your next after me, any development yet?
