Just that really, I know it's a difficult time for so many people, but clinics shuttered just as DP finally agreed to get his semen analyisis done. My progesterone was normal, and I have regular periods, so I don't think Clomid would be an option for us. We've been trying for a year and a half, and I am 35 on Saturday.

If we do get a referral, and need IVF, how long will that take? So many questions?

Thanks

@Daisz thank you. My period actually came on it’s own! I just need to speak to the waiting list coordinator. I think it will be to start in February.
Hope you’re well. X

BambiOnIce80 · 10/11/2020 12:06

Excellent news @BeHereNowx32 😃 I hope you get on OK with the waiting list coordinator 🤞🍀🤞🍀

BeHereNowx32 · 10/11/2020 12:15

@BambiOnIce80 I am booked in for February/ March treatment.
How are you feeling? What stage are you at now? X

BambiOnIce80 · 10/11/2020 12:23

That's really good news @BeHereNowx32 😃 Definitely much easier when you know when things will be happening 👍

Things are going OK here, just very slowly! I don't have my lining scan until this time next week, which will be day 18 of progynova. They did say it's not always 14 days exactly to the scan, but still a bit annoying (because I need to learn to have some patience! 😏). Just hoping I've actually responded to the drug and I won't have to wait even longer/risk a cancelled cycle 🔮

BeHereNowx32 · 10/11/2020 13:43

@BambiOnIce80 oh it is taking a long time, but you’re nearly there for the scan. Good luck when it comes.
I might start eating foods that are good for lining. Prob won’t make a difference but I think it helps to mentally prepare! X

LouScot · 10/11/2020 20:49

Oh, I was just wondering how everyone easy today! Didn't get any notifications, so its nice to see that you have an idea for next round @BeHereNowx32.

@BambiOnIce80 ooh, good luck! Fingers crossed for a good lining.

I'm still struggling to get my donor sperm, unsurprisingly the ESB has greater demand than supply just now, especially for the UK. I'm trying to convince myself that when the right donor becomes available it'll mean they're the right one use to make a healthy wee baby.

Also, do any of you remember every having had your fsh measured? I've been looking online at mainly American forums, and they all mention their fsh levels. I've never had mine measured, only amh and antral follicle count, clinic haven't mentioned it. I'm sure if it was essential then it would have been checked, you know how you can go down all these "hmm, what about that test" paths...

L xx

BeHereNowx32 · 11/11/2020 07:53

@LouScot sorry to hear you’re still waiting. Good way to look at it, and things will happen when they are supposed to.
I had FSH tested by the gp when we didn’t conceive after a year. This was before we were referred for ivf. I think it’s to see if you’re ovulating... so, prob not needed if you’re going into ivf now. Xx

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not been in touch with you all lately. I have tried to take myself off all forms of social media as much as possible as the worry in the run up to the 12 week scan was too much.

Everything is good though. I had a scare last week as my test for Down Syndrome apparently showed I was at high risk of having a baby with DS. I went to Featal Medicine the next day for a more in depth test the NHS have JUST (4 weeks ago) started to offer and waited a week and that came back as low risk. It is also good they offer it or it would have had to be the Amnio thing if I wanted it further investigated. So the outcome of the fist test is there MAY be a problem with my placenta not functioning 100% as it should but apparently it is not something to worry about, I just need extra growth scans... The worrying never ends tho!!!

How are all you lovely ladies doing? Is the second wave impacting anything or are the clinics running at high capacity again?

@LouScot My friend is is the same boat as you at the minute regarding the sperm!! Hope you get lucky soon xxx

LouScot · 14/11/2020 13:06

Hi @RonRon1, oh that sounds as if you've had a stressful time of it. Glad to hear there's slightly less worry, although as you say I imagine the worry doesn't stop!

I'll be looking again for sperm tonight 😂

BeHereNowx32 · 17/11/2020 08:52

@BambiOnIce80 good luck if your lining scan is this week. Xx

@RonRon1 sorry to hear you’ve had a stressful time. Hopefully things will settle down for you now and you can enjoy pregnancy.
As far as I know the clinics are running as normal for now.

@Daisz have you announced your pregnancy yet? How are you feeling?

I’m just taking some vitamins, and focusing on sorting out house. And spending time with DD. Trying not to get too broody 😆

Daisz · 17/11/2020 12:50

@BambiOnIce80 Good luck for today, hope everything has gone ok and you can look forward to an embryo transfer date.
@RonRon1 So sorry to hear about your stressful time. I hope everything goes smoothly for you from now on.
@BeHereNowx32 Glad you are feeling better and looking forward. I actually have my 20 week scan tomorrow. I still have not announced officially, and bump is not so obvious yet. My Mum does know and I found out dp told a few people he knows ages ago, which I was quite annoyed at, but as for the rest of my family and friends I plan to do it by this weekend. I am dreading it if I am honest, I know it will generate some strong opinions, but really just looking to get tomorrow over with, and hopefully all being well.

BeHereNowx32 · 20/11/2020 07:02

@Daisz hope everything went ok with the scan. Try not to worry about other people. You’ve been through a lot to get where you are! And soon you will have a little baby to take up your thoughts 💕 xx

BeHereNowx32 · 20/11/2020 12:38

@Daisz hope that comment didn’t sound insensitive! Hope everything goes ok for you x

LouScot · 20/11/2020 19:06

I was just thinking about you too @daisz. Hope things went well.

Hope everyone is keeping safe x

Daisz · 22/11/2020 08:54

Thanks @LouScot and @BeHereNowx32 everything is fine. Wishing you both the best of luck.xxx♥️

UnnaturallyBetty · 29/11/2020 17:07

Hi @theotherfossilsister, I saw your last few messages about GCRM and I thought I'd chime into hopefully put your mind at ease a little bit.
I just had my egg collection with them on Friday, and I've been with them since just before the pandemic. I think what happened is that they tried to squeeze in as many people as they possibly could after the first lockdown at the expense of their usual attention to detail so the experience you get at the moment is not necessarily what it would be like in normal circumstances. Let me know if you have any questions about them, I'd be happy to answer (they're not paying me to say this btw Wink ). I wish all you ladies the best of luck with your treatments xxx

BeHereNowx32 · 20/12/2020 06:32

Hope everyone is doing ok. Sending love over Xmas x

Daisz · 23/12/2020 07:42

BeHereNowx32 · 23/12/2020 08:13

Is anyone still around? How’s everyone getting on? I’m booked into the start FET with my March period. It’s was delayed a month due to Covid.
Hope everyone is doing ok... could do with charting if anyone feels up to it x

Scirocco · 15/02/2021 22:27

Daisz · 16/02/2021 07:50
