Lots of good news and welcome to the TWW for lots of you..

My OTD is Monday. But my husband is braving the supermarket and will bring me a pregnancy test with the shopping tomorrow so it's going to take some willpower not to test over the weekend!

Feels odd this time, I've been so busy panicking about my immune system and corona virus I've hardly done any symptom spotting at all. My stomach is feeling very tender which could be a good sign or AF or perhaps even still sore from EC but apart from that there are no symptoms of either AF or pregnancy. During my last failed cycle I started bleeding a few days before OTD, so every day I am not bleeding I still have a little hope

Ladies - just wanted to pop onto this post and wish you all the best of luck. I’m 49 and 33w+1 with my fist baby after 3rounds of IVF (and one MMC). i appreciated the support I got from my forum and it’s lovely to see you all supporting each other, especially as the time’s are even more difficult due to cv. Xxx

Not long now confused107! Yay! No symptoms are fine as that can happen with some pregnancies ;-)

Aw thanks Midlifebaby. Your pregnancy sounds miraculous! So glad you get to meet your precious little one in several weeks. Fingers crossed this awful virus starts to subside before baby comes so you get the tlc you need at delivery Bear

That's exciting @confused107 ! Fingers crossed for you.

I feel the same, I'm definitely worrying more about cv. I thought not being at work would leave me constantly symptom spotting but I've not been too bad. In fact it's nice not to have so much stress from work! I do have progesterone side effects though so I think they might mess with my head nearer to otd. My luteal phase is naturally on the short side so I suspect I could bleed before otd too. Hoping I don't so much!

wonderful to have a club of TWW. @SpyroC @confused107 @Robson13@Midlifebaby if you really hesitate for venturing to supermarket. I ordered from ebay yesterday some cheapies hpt. it arrives TODAY! I know Amazon has updated all their earliest delivery date to 21 April but obviously some ebay vendors still have stock. Smile work from home doesn't not help with my productivity. my whole brain is overly obsessed on researching and testing.. I really need to save myself from it ;)

@confused107 not long to go now! Do you think you’ll be able to hold out until Monday?!

@luby89k how are you feeling now after your trauma?

I’m really sad not to be in the two week wait club with @SpyroC @confused107 @avocado2019 and @Robson13. I totally understand why they made me do a freeze all, and if I’m honest had I been given the choice I think I would still have decided to freeze everything (frontline NHS worker) but it is so hard thinking ‘what if?’. I feel like my withdrawal bleed is on its way because I’ve nearly killed hubby a few times and I just think it is going to be so hard to deal with 😩 Anyone else feeling similar?

@CarbsAndCheese I totally get where you're coming from. I was actually in tears the night before et because I couldn't decide what to do. The decision was made once they told me there was a good chance none of my embryos would survive the freeze/thaw process so a freeze all cycle would have been devastating for me. I think individual circumstances dictate that decision. We are just so unlucky with timing. I always thought you're medical understanding seemed advanced! Respect to you for what you are doing at the moment. X

@Twins2girls how are you doing? I believe you are also coming towards the end of your tww?

@CarbsAndCheese i agree. I'm annoyed i didn't get the option. Then again i think iv been annoyed through the whole process. I think as i'm not working (non essential) i would have had the ET. That's if i get any eggs. My update today was 3 eggs doing well. One is great. One is fragmented and one is slow but should catch up today. I'm starting to feel normal again today.

@confused107 so excited for you. We all need a little good news. Hope you can hold out till Monday though! (If it was me i'd be weeing middle of the night🤣)

xxx

luby89k · 27/03/2020 09:14

@Rumtopf i asked the embryologist about fragmentation and she said most human cells have them and it's perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry too much it might just downgrade that cell. xxx

Hi @SpyroC I thought I had lost this thread so glad to see it up and running again. I am still in my 2ww 10dp5dt 2 embryos, OTD is Monday. I am now further along than last time so fingers crossed that’s a good sign 🤞. How are you feeling? X

confused107 · 27/03/2020 10:40

Hi @Twins2girls we have the same test date. I have been having stomach cramps which could be AF or the cyclogest but other than than no symptoms either way. But like you I'm further along (had started bleeding by now last time) so hopefully it's a good sign for both of us. Keep going to the loo and checking, which isn't very good for preserving loo roll!

SpyroC · 27/03/2020 11:07

That sounds good @luby89k fingers crossed for your 3. I'm glad your starting to feel better.

I'm good thank you @Twins2girls otd is the 4th so just waiting it out.

I'm impressed you've both resisted testing 👏. I plan to do the same but it will test my will power!

@confused107 I am feeling exactly the same as you! A few stomach cramps here and there but no other symptoms at all, really hoping this is a good sign for both of us and not just the progesterone support delaying things🤞🤞

@SpyroC I have been tempted, have two clear blue digital in a drawer for the last week! I know it’s best to wait though so that’s what I am doing, will probably be awake super early on Monday!

Hi everyone!

Finally realised why there were no more posts on the previous thread! But I'm here now and trying to catch up with what seems a lot of mixed news. It seems we are all mentally drained and we never stop waiting for next step, the next good or bad news!

@Pinktruffle Congratulations! I had tears in my eyes, so happy for you!

@SpyroC Good luck!

@luby89k I'm so sorry to hear about your EC experience, that sounds terrible! Hope your 5 eggs develop well!

I am thinking of all of you going through EC and ET or not having the choice of proceeding because of Covid19. If that virus could materialise, just put it in a room full of women who are going through IVF and who have been impacted by it, the virus would not stand a chance, I'm telling you! Like IVF is not stressful enough!

My update: pregnancy test tomorrow. EC was 10 days ago, on top of the pessary joy, on Sunday my belly became super swollen and uncomfortable, and I have been peeing A LOT. Then I was woken up on 2 different nights by a sharp pain on each side of my groin - I assume it was my ovaries - which lasted 15-20 mins each night. I have had on and off sore side boobs especially when sleeping on my sides. And since yesterday I have been feeling a few period cramps. I wanted to avoid symptom spotting but as time goes by it's so difficult to avoid so I totally feel for you @Pinktruffle. I am trying to remember, symptoms or no symptoms means nothing and most PMS or early pregnancy symptoms are the same... but it's so bloody hard!

@KazzyFroggy good luck with your test tomorrow 🤞

@Pinktruffle congratulations 🥰 do you know if your hubby is able to go to the 7 week scan too?

@Kazzyfroggy good luck tomorrow!

@luby89k thanks for the reassurance, I've been doing some research too. Fingers crossed they make at least a d grade as the clinic have said normally the freeze a-c but because of everything they've extended to d too. Will hopefully find out tomorrow.

Has anyone else had breathtaking shooting pains in their groin? I did an hour of yoga yesterday and normal pottering about but today I'm in a foul mood, feel like af is imminent (can it be? It's a week since I stopped stimming) and then these shooting pains straight up.

Sticking together @CarbsAndCheese but seeing love and luck to those waiting to test or even testing over the weekend - we will get thee too one day!

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of a cycle that's ended with freezing and the withdrawal bleed - how long after stopping drugs did it arrive? I thought they said 7-14 days in the phone.... nothing yet but a couple of false starts and feel like it was coming on Thursday with some cramping but nothing arrived. Also how bad?!

KazzyFroggy · 28/03/2020 08:02

I think it's a BFP. Very faint line but there is a 2nd line for the 1st time ever! I am happy and yet trying to not overeact! The line is so faint ... doing another test in a week's time, hope it sticks!

Congratulations KazzyFroggy !!! Sooo happy for you. Good luck with booking the viability scan. You must be dizzy with joy ;-)

Hi granddesigns - for me it was only like 2/3 days after stopping I had a bleed. Hope it comes soon so you can feel fresh again and clear the meds from your system x

Congratulations @KazzyFroggy that’s great news, you must feel so relieved! Let’s hope this is the start of a few more positives over the next few days.

@confused107 how are you doing? Have you managed to resist testing?

SpyroC · 28/03/2020 09:00

Congratulations! @KazzyFroggy GrinI think that makes four now. Hoping fir another 2 on Monday.

I was a bit disheartened last night as my boob tenderness has dropped. A quick google confirmed this does not mean game over. It's what happens in my natural cycle. I always thought it was progesterone after ovulation but perhaps it's actually FSH? Would also explain why I had before starting cyclogest.

I'm half tempted to test early as id like to know if a chemical happens but I don't think I can cope with the stress.

Thinking of those waiting for embryo updates x

Congratulations @kazzyfoggy. It's lovely news

I feel the same @SpyroC my boobs seem to be shrinking and less sore which normally happens just before AF. Stomach still feels really sore, as if I have done too much exercise so I don't know what that means 🤷‍♀️ Still no AF so it's not over yet

@Twins2girls im holding out on testing, how are you doing?

@confused107 me too, although I really wanted to this morning! Hubby says no, to wait until Monday (I know he is right!)

I’m not sure what to think, sometimes I feel fairly sure that I could be pregnant and other times I don’t think I am. I don’t have any early pregnancy signs like sore boobs but I know that doesn’t really mean anything....arghh Confused

KazzyFroggy · 28/03/2020 12:02

@SpyroC @confused107 @Twins2girls @ChatWithMe Thanks! It was very emotional! The 1st test did not work, good thing is these days I need a pee every 10mins (probably a sign) so it was not long before we could test again. But we are still worried next test might be negative. Anyway, today is a happy day!

Symptom-wise my boobs were not painful anymore yesterday and I had period cramps so I was really not sure what to expect - again there r no definite symptoms, every woman is different, so it messes up with your mind! I would say wait for testing, it is hard but the line is faint and if I had tested too early it might not have been there, who knows... save yourself the heartbreak of a fake negative, we go through enough!

Good luck everyone!!! Hoping to see more positive results in the next few days!
