That's wonderful @ChatWithMe ! I have everything crossed for you! The CV situation made me nervous as well, I was more nervous than I was for ec for this reason. It tainted the moment some what. But hey we are pupo and that's what matters! I will be testing the day before you.

@luby89k I wonder if the method they used is to do with anaesthetists being drafted in to help with CV. My clinic said they'd be out by Friday just gone but I'm sure I sure one on Monday. If so then this should've been explained.

@ChatWithMe congrats on your egg transfer. yes that's what they did. Canular in my arm for paracetamol and they injected my vagina walls on either side to numb me. They did put extra things through the canular but i am unsure what exactly.

I'm in agony now. Just in bed trying to find which is the best side to lay down.

Yes so relieved Robson13. I scrolled back to see where you were at in the IVF process and last entry I see was embryo transfer for this Thursday (tomorrow). Is that right? If so hope it goes well. Sorry if I'm wrong x

Got my call. Only 3 eggs have fertilised. Was hoping for them all to fertilise as i know how numbers can go down by the day.

i know it's still good. I'm just concerned going into a weekend, as my clinic won't check between tomorrow and Monday.

Still in pain but defo feeling a little bit better today

Good luck for et today @Robson13 tbf they only brought cv up on the phone in the morning with the "strong advice to freeze". When they realised I was nervous for that reason they were understanding, I think their policy is just not to encourage it.

Glad your feeling better @luby89k. The embryo updates are tough. Mine were looking really good until day 5. It gave me false hope that my fears over poor quality eggs were likely wrong. Others have had low numbers go on to give them more than 1 good quality blasto so I hope that's what happens in your case too. X

@luby89k I get it. It's all a big worry and feeling utterly out of control isn't helpful at all. I'm very "take charge" and there is nothing about any of this that I can manage.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Embryo is in and I feel glad that we we're lucky enough to go ahead. Now the wait....which will seem even longer with being cooped in the house.

@luby89k we also had three eggs collected...but then three good quality embryos. I understand the disappointment.

@Rumtopf I'm also doing youtube yoga. I usually hate yoga!

@Robson13 woohoo! So pleased for you. What channel are you watching? I just did a beginner session with Adrienne but I found her a bit irritating.

Had my call from the clinic. Our 3 are still going but apparently there's a reasonable amount of fragmentation, they'll update me again on Saturday. It was a different embryologist to normal so I couldn't tell from her tone whether she thought we'd be ok or not, she was very matter of fact.

So testing days are as follows (those who I have missed out please update the list):

SpyroC - April 4th
ChatWithMe - April 5th
Robson13 - ?April 6th (not sure what date they told you to test)

@Rumtopf I'm also doing yoga with Adrienne and I also find her voice annoying haha. I know loads of people that love her. The good news is your three are still going, hopefully it will be good news in Sat when you get an update.

Oh gosh - same as SpyroC. Funny how clinics have quite a range of testing days. Mine is 16 days after egg collection...

It is strange @ChatWithMe . Mine is 12 days after. Which seems long as it's like being 17dpo.

I am hpt only. Do either of you get hcg done by your clinic?

How are you @confused107 ? I know you are a week or so ahead. When is your otd?

No blood test at my clinic SpyroC just pregnancy test at home then if positive you get a viability scan 3 weeks after that to check if there's a heartbeat. I hate the wait but I think I worry more about covid than a negative test sometimes!

My hospital usually do a blood test to check pregnancy but with everything that's going on they just told me to do a home test. They're still planning on the scan going ahead (3 weeks after preg test) if this cycle is successful. I think on my fresh cycle they did the pregnancy test either 7or 10 days after the transfer
