@carleygh I never used to take notice of my CM, but since being on Clomid I'm literally watching like a hawk at every single change lol xx

@Beth804 eurgh sorry to hear about the bloods, did they tell you what your progesterone level was? When I had my consultation the other day I expressed concern that my progesterone level was 17 and the guide said if under 30 ovulation was unlikely, she said that anything above 10 really suggests ovulation as there’s not really another source for progesterone in the body, so it’s worth checking.
OPKs are a mine field, when trying for my son I did them religiously for 2 years and felt that every time it was almost dark I’d probably ovulated when I’d never ovulated once. And even on clomid I got a positive OPK and then my progesterone was

@seven201 sorry to hear that! I do yoga and find it’s very calming so hopefully that will help....It’s hard not to get bogged down in it all though so don’t beat yourself up...stay busy!

@goingbacktokansascity I’m day 6 but not sure if / when I’ll ovulate this cycle as it’s a new drug

@BonTon thanks. It's nice to get a bit of support Smile

@Beth804 I think I ovulated on clomid on cd 19 ish. So it's not impossible for it to be later, but it is unusual. Keep having sex just in case. Could you ask for another blood test for 7 days after you think you might have ovulated. I got my ovulation day completely wrong last month (confirmed by bloods).

@seven201 at my hospital we have a fertility network people can access to get support etc, I think they can access the hospital acupuncture etc. I didn’t do it last time but this time im considering it!

@Goingbacktokansascity that sounds like a great resource. It's worth a try. I really enjoyed acupuncture when I did it. Always slept well.

I think ivf clinics all have to offer free counselling as part of their ivf. I may have made that up though. I'm really crap at talking about myself in real life, so I'm not sure about it but may give it a go if we get that that stage.

I've found a YouTube yoga lady who is just what I need I think. She's called Bettina Rae, in case anyone else is looking for fertility and stress yoga stuff.

@seven201 I might have a look, when I was pregnant last time I did pregnancy yoga as near the end I had major birth fear (ironic as I’d prayed every day to get pregnant) and I found it so useful. There’s a few mindfulness and anxiety apps recommended by the NHS? Not specific for fertility but I guess would come under negative thinking?

@Goingbacktokansascity I did pregnancy yoga with dd and really enjoyed it. I think the YouTube version suits me better now. There's essentially 4 different videos/workouts (I don't think they're called workouts in yoga but I can't remember the name!). One for mensuration, one for follicular, one for ovulation and one for the tww. She's got other videos too, but those are the main ones. Definitely worth a look.

I didn't know the nhs did those! I'm definitely going to take a look. Thank you.

I really struggle with exercise while TTC. It’s obviously advised by the NHS and the evidence suggests it helps but I’m terrified for some crazy reason that I’ll like do a squat and dislodge that little embryo. Or the chlorine in the swimming pool will somehow affect my husbands sperm. Trying to get pregnant with my son I didn’t even consider these crazy things and my focus was exercise to get my weight down so I don’t know why it makes me so scared this time

@Goingbacktokansascity it's just because ttc makes most people temporarily insane in different ways Wink. The rational side of me says I've got a good life, I should be happy. The irrational part of me, that didn't really exist before ttc says go crazy, overthink everything, stress about everything, be angry at the world and feel sorry for yourself at every opportunity.

@Goingbacktokansascity the yoga lady I mentioned has different videos for different points in the cycle so it's safe. They're a no squishing of organs type stuff in the ovulation or luteal phase sections. She does make it clear what's safe to do and not do when. Just in case that reassures you a little. If doing exercise worries you though, just don't do it.

I found out I was pregnant with dd the day after going mountain biking for the first and last time of my life. No idea how she clung on in there. Part of me thinks the vibrations and bumps helped in some weird way!

Good luck! @CharlotteCx

Thanks @Goingbacktokansascity I think I deffo need a higher dose too, but need to wait it out another cycle before I see the consultant which just seems a waste?! Bloods were < 2.5 as they always have been 😩

Gives me some hope thanks @seven201 think cd24 may be pushing it though!

@Beth804 could you try phoning the consultant? They upped my dose over the phone every time before. The nurse would call me and say that I hadn’t ovulated, she’s spoken to the consultant and wants me to double it etc.

I’ve got a horrible cold so have taken the day off work and am laying feeling sorry for myself. Horrid cramps too the last few days and just feel like I’m probably out this month as I didn’t DTD as much as I’d have liked due to feeling exhausted!
