Come on Clomid. 2019 v4

Our third has filled up.

For anyone who is taking clomid for whatever fertility reason.

Yes so bizarre it's all from being on the pill,I was on Cerezette and it's common from stopping periods so I came off it around 6/7 years ago for a year and they never came back, I went on the injection then off that for a year then they put me on a mini pill to try and trigger a bleed on the 7 day break. I've been back and forward to the doctors so many times over the years and it wasn't until 2.5 years ago a doctor referred me to the hospital, they scanned and did blood tests and from not having periods my body wasn't productive oestrogen and as a result I had osteo problems so thinning of my spine and right hip 😳 from then on my periods still weren't back so she then referred me over to a different hospital where the fertility clinic was so they could do their own investigation. Scans and tubes are all absolutely fine @CharlotteCx x

@carleygh Wow, this might explain some things to me! I was on cerazette for years too, then my periods never really came back! Well I had 1 or 2 a year anyway. Haven't had a (non-induced) period since January!
They have said I don't have PCOS either as all my tests are normal, I'm just not having periods, and when I am I'm only ovulating once in a blue moon! Surely they would have checked estrogen? I'll have to look back through my notes!

@carleygh wow that is terrible! You'd never think that a contraceptive could do that! I truly believe that the injection has messed me up too because before that I was a 28 day cycle bang on every month. Went on the injection had that about 3 times and my periods come back after a year of not having it but then started to go all crazy then was diagnosed with pcos and my gyno said that the injection has caused my ovarys to become lazy! X

The pill has a lot to answer for... it masks so many underlying problems

Just did 2nd month of Clomid, first month on 50mg no OV, this month 100mg and had 3 really good follicles on day 14 scan, really had a good feeling this would be it but got my period today. Currently lying in bed feeling sorry for myself. Feeling very hopeless for future success 😢

@BonTon agreed! I wish I never went on the pill injection - my mum dragged me down there when I started to be sexually active. Obviously she was doing the right thing ... but so regret it now! Should of just stuck to the condoms lol

Sorry @MiMiMaguire, it’s really tough. Just think that you wouldn’t expect your friend to be pregnant after one cycle and if you weren’t ovulating before, you’ve only really had one chance. 🤞🏻 For you x

@carlygh same reason as me! I had been on the pill for four years and hadn't had a single period that whole time. I thought that was great at the time however now I wish I hadn't bothered as have been off the pill 6 months and still haven't had a period or ovulated. I had an induced period last week with noresthisterone and now on cycle one with Clomid. I don't get any monitoring, not even bloods so have no idea if it will have worked though so fingers crossed!

@CharlotteCx @Beth804 exactly what @BonTon said the pill is lethal. So many false hormones and chemical we put into our body, never will I ever go back on it again.

It's ridiculous @dragonfly1978 isn't it. Apart from when I'm on Clomid I don't have proper periods at all and when they do come they last a day and not heavy at all.

Have you had any of your hormone levels checked? X

@carleygh one of my friends had secondary infertility and she puts it down to the injection after her first born. She had 2 rounds of ivf that failed but then got pregnant naturally after as she thinks the ivf drugs kick started her body. These contraceptives are damaging!

Well we've managed to dtd again tonight .. although was pretty stressful 😳 but we've cracked it lol. STILL on flashing smiley too just done another opk. frustrating x

Yes 100% I agree it messes up our bodies, there is no need for these false hormones and yet we are brain washed into them.

It's caused me more long term problems from doctors not being educated enough to detect signs early on, now I have ongoing issues which could effect me in the long run 🙄🙄🙄 five years to get to this point. Never mind hey onwards and upwards!

I'll be intrigued to see if I fall naturally, I would love it @CharlotteCx x

Bless you. The clomid might kick start your body! You never know, I'm hoping it does mine if all my rounds don't work! Can only hope. If you don't mind me asking, how old r u? x

@carleygh Thanks ☺️ I am! And on a 'normal' cd15 too! When I've ovulated in the past it's been like cd 47!
DTD last night and dunno if we should tonight or not as OH said he felt a bit empty 😂

STILL flashing 😣 driving me insane now. CD13 today. If I ovulate on cd15 would I get a peak tomorrow? Cos I ovulated cd15 last month x

@carleygh Yes, just a couple of periods a year and not ovulating.

@CharlotteCx there's still time! I just got it on cd15 today so will prob be tomorrow or Thurs. I think it can vary a little bit month to month
